The reaction of [M(CN)(6)](3-) (M = Cr(3+), Mn(3+), Fe(3+), Co(3+)) and [M(CN)(8)](4-/3-) (M = Mo(4+/5+), W(4+/5+)) with the trinuclear copper(II) complex of 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltris[3-(1,3,5,8,12-pentaazacyclotetradecane)] ([Cu(3)(L)](6+)) leads to partially encapsulated cyanometalates. With hexacyanometalate(III) complexes, [Cu(3)(L)](6+) forms the isostructural host-guest complexes [[[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))(2)][M(CN)(6)](2)][M(CN)(6)]][M(CN)(6)]30 H(2)O with one bridging, two partially encapsulated, and one isolated [M(CN)(6)](3-) unit. The octacyanometalates of Mo(4+/5+) and W(4+/5+) are encapsulated by two tris-macrocyclic host units. Due to the stability of the +IV oxidation state of Mo and W, only assemblies with [M(CN)(8)](4-) were obtained. The Mo(4+) and W(4+) complexes were crystallized in two different structural forms: [[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))](2)[Mo(CN)(8)]](NO(3))(8)15 H(2)O with a structural motif that involves isolated spherical [[Cu(3)(L)(OH(2))](2)[M(CN)(8)]](8+) ions and a "string-of-pearls" type of structure [[[Cu(3)(L)](2)[M(CN)(8)]][M(CN)(8)]](NO(3))(4) 20 H(2)O, with [M(CN)(8)](4-) ions that bridge the encapsulated octacyanometalates in a two-dimensional network. The magnetic exchange coupling between the various paramagnetic centers is characterized by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility and field-dependent magnetization data. Exchange between the CuCu pairs in the [Cu(3)(L)](6+) "ligand" is weakly antiferromagnetic. Ferromagnetic interactions are observed in the cyanometalate assemblies with Cr(3+), exchange coupling of Mn(3+) and Fe(3+) is very small, and the octacoordinate Mo(4+) and W(4+) systems have a closed-shell ground state.  相似文献

We consider quantum Hall states at even-denominator filling fractions, especially nu=5/2, in the limit of small Zeeman energy. Assuming that a paired quantum Hall state forms, we study spin ordering and its interplay with pairing. We give numerical evidence that at nu=5/2 an incompressible ground state will exhibit spontaneous ferromagnetism. The Ginzburg-Landau (GL) theory for the spin degrees of freedom of paired Hall states is a perturbed CP2 model. We compute the coefficients in the GL theory by a BCS Stoner mean-field theory for coexisting order parameters, and show that even if repulsion is smaller than that required for a Stoner instability, ferromagnetic fluctuations can induce a partially or fully polarized superconducting state.  相似文献

In this work, thin ZnO films have been produced by pulsed laser deposition on side-polished fiber for optical gas sensor applications. The influence was investigated of the processing parameters, such as substrate temperature and oxygen pressure applied during deposition, on the sensitivity to ammonia of the sensing element. A shift of the spectral position of the resonance minimum to the longer wavelengths was observed at room temperature for the sample prepared at 150 °C substrate temperature and 20 Pa oxygen pressure. Spectral changes in the range 0.16-1.13 nm for NH3 concentrations between 500 and 5000 ppm were also observed.  相似文献

Dynamics of the ejected material in ultra-short laser ablation of metals   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A molecular dynamics model is applied to study the formation and the early stages of ejection of material in ultra-short laser ablation of metals in vacuum. Simulations of the ablation process for iron at a pulse duration of 0.1 ps and at different laser fluences are performed. Different features of the ejection mechanism are observed below, near, and above the ablation threshold. The last is estimated as approximately 0.1 J/cm2. The structure of the ablated material is found to depend on the applied laser fluence. The expanded plume consists mainly of large clusters at fluences near to the threshold. With the increase of the laser fluence the presence of the large clusters decreases. Clear spatial segregation of species with different sizes is observed in the direction normal to the surface several tens of picoseconds after the laser pulse onset. The angular distribution of the ejected material is estimated for different regimes of material removal. Above the ablation threshold the distribution is forward peaking. A multi-range order parameter for binary alloys is considered, valid for bulk materials and nanoparticles. The difference between two common definitions is discussed, arising when applied to small systems. Its properties are illustrated on the example of the order/disorder transitions in Au–Pd fcc bulk materials and nanoparticles. The thermodynamic equilibrium states of these systems are predicted by Metropolis Monte Carlo sampling in the canonical (NPT) ensemble and an embedded-atom model potential. Short range order is found partially preserved by the transition while long range order vanishes. The order of intermediate ranges is found to be particularly sensitive to the presence of anti-phase boundaries (APBs) in both, bulk alloys and nanoparticles.  相似文献

Thin-film Nd-doped potassium gadolinium tungstate (Nd:KGW or KGd(WO4)2) waveguides are deposited on (1102)sapphire or (100)YAG substrates by KrF laser ablation of potassium-rich ceramic targets in Ar and O2. The dependence of the stoichiometry, crystallinity and waveguide properties of the films on the environmental gas pressure and substrate temperature is studied. Highly textured crystalline (110) KGW films are grown. An optical waveguide loss as low as 3 dB/cm is obtained for the films grown in Ar. The as-grown films are optically active. Upon annealing at 900 °C in air, the crystallinity and the properties of the emission spectra are dramatically improved. PACS 81.15.Fg; 42.70.Hj; 78.20.Ek  相似文献

Summary This paper presents the results of calculations of electron drift velocity, mean energy and ionization, and attachment coefficients in SF6: C3H8: He mixtures performed according to the multiterm Boltzmann-equation analysis. The parameters for wide variation of gas mixture composition andE/N values are obtained. The results presented may be useful in studying the HF laser action, analysis of the gas discharge, and research, development and modelling of this type of lasers.
