Two K([2.2.2]crypt) salts of lanthanide-doped semimetal clusters were prepared, both of which contain at the same time two types of ternary intermetalloid anions, [Ln@Sn(7)Bi(7)](4-) and [Ln@Sn(4)Bi(9)](4-), in 0.70:0.30 (Ln = La) or 0.39:0.61 (Ln = Ce) ratios. The cluster shells represent nondeltahedral, fullerane-type arrangements of 14 or 13 main group metal atoms that embed the Ln(3+) cations. The assignment of formal +III oxidation states for the Ln sites was confirmed by means of magnetic measurements that reveal a diamagnetic La(III) compound and a paramagnetic Ce(III) analogue. Whereas the cluster anions with a 14-atomic main-group metal cage represent the second examples in addition to a related Eu(II) cluster published just recently, the 13-atomic cages exhibit a yet unprecedented enneahedral topology. In contrast to the larger cages, which accord to the Zintl-Klemm-Busmann electron number-structure correlation, the smaller clusters require a more profound interpretation of the bonding situation. Quantum chemical investigations served to shed light on these unusual complexes and showed significant narrowing of the HOMO-LUMO gap upon incorporation of Ce(3+) within the semimetal cages. 相似文献

Small angle X-ray diffraction (SAXD), resonance Raman (RR) spectroscopy with 413 nm excitation, and non-resonance Raman technique with 785 nm excitation were used to probe the influence of entrapped cytochrome c (Cyt c) on the structure of hydrated phytantriol (Phyt) liquid-crystalline phases as well as conformational changes of heme group and secondary structure of the protein. SAXD measurements indicated that incorporation of Cyt c affects both nanostructure dimensions and type of liquid-crystalline phases of hydrated Phyt. The unit cell dimensions decrease with increasing Cyt c concentration for all phases. In addition, protein perturbs the nanostructure of Q(230) and Q(224) liquid-crystalline phases of hydrated Phyt to such an extent that they transform into the Q(229) phase with the Im3m space group. RR data revealed that entrapment of oxidized Cyt c into the Q(230) phase at 1 wt.% content results in near complete reduction of central iron ion of the heme group, while its low-spin state and six-ligand coordination configuration are preserved. Based on the analysis of heme out-of-plane folding vibration near 568 cm(-1) (γ(21)) and ν(48) mode at 633 cm(-1), it was demonstrated that the protein matrix tension on the heme group is relaxed upon incorporation of protein into Q(230) phase. Non-resonant Raman bands of difference spectra showed the preservation of α-helix secondary structure of Cyt c in the liquid-crystalline phase at relatively high (5 wt.%) content. On the basis of two series of polyimides it was shown that the conformational rigidity and the presence of side voluminous
substituents determine the packing of macromolecular chains in glassy state. The presence of hexafluoroisopropylidene groups
leads to the increase of free volume of polymers due to the repulsion of such groups belonging to different macromolecular

Summary: The analysis of the influence of ionic liquids (ILs) in polymer synthesis as an alternative for common organic solvents is still an active field of research. 1 Using ILs as solvents for free radical polymerizations implies a significant increase in polymerization rates and molecular weights which can be observed. In this work we examined the copolymerization behaviour of styrene (S) and methyl methacrylate (MMA), glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and 2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA) with acrylonitrile (AN) in 1-etyhl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate ([EMIM]EtSO4). ILs are liquids with comparable high polarities and viscosities. These two characteristic properties are strongly correlated with the rate coefficients of propagation kp and termination kt. 2 - 4 The rate constant of termination kt decreases when the IL concentration and therefore the viscosity of the reaction mixture is increased, whereas the propagation rate coefficient kp increases with increasing IL content. The viscosity of the IL can be varied by either working with mixtures of IL with conventional organic solvents – here the IL [EMIM]EtSO4 was mixed with DMF – or by variation of the temperature. The influence of the viscosity of the IL ([EMIM]EtSO4) on polymerization kinetics of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene/acrylonitrile (S/AN) was investigated. 相似文献

In the present work, Cr-substituted Mg3Al1−xCrx layered double hydroxides (LDHs) were synthesised through the phase conversion of sol-gel-derived mixed-metal oxides in an aqueous medium. The chromium substitution level in the range of 1 to 25 mol% was investigated. It was demonstrated that all synthesised specimens were single-phase LDHs. The results of elemental analysis confirmed that the suggested synthetic sol-gel chemistry approach is suitable for the preparation of LDHs with a highly controllable chemical composition. The surface microstructure of sol-gel-derived Mg3Al1−xCrx LDHs does not depend on the chromium substitution level. The formation of plate-like agglomerated particles, which consist of hexagonally shaped nanocrystallites varying in size from approximately 200 to 300 nm, was observed. Optical properties of the synthesised Mg3Al1−xCrx LDHs were investigated by means of photoluminescence. All Cr-containing powders exhibited characteristic emission in the red region of the visible spectrum. The strongest emission was observed for the sample doped with 5 mol% Cr3+ ions. However, the emission intensity of samples doped with 1–10 mol% Cr3+ ions was relatively similar. A further increase in the Cr3+ ion concentration to 25 mol% resulted in severe concentration quenching. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider branching time temporal logic CT L with epistemic modalities for knowledge (belief) and with awareness operators. These logics involve the discrete-time linear
temporal logic operators “next” and “until” with the branching temporal logic operator “on all paths”. In addition, the temporal
logic of knowledge (belief) contains an indexed set of unary modal operators “agent i knows” (“agent i believes”). In a language of these logics, there are awareness operators. For these logics, we present sequent calculi with
a restricted cut rule. Thus, we get proof systems where proof-search becomes decidable. The soundness and completeness for
these calculi are proved.
