The derivatization of the reduced-form thiols with SBD-F (7-fluoro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole-4-sulfonate) and ABD-F (4-aminosulfonyl-7-fluoro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole) was studied. The yields of the derivatives of the reduced-form thiols (cysteine, homocysteine, reduced-form glutathione) with SBD-F at 60 degrees C for 45 min in the borate buffer (pH 9.3) were significantly decreased in the presence of the oxidized-form thiols (cystine, homocystine, oxidized-form glutathione) because of the thiol exchange reaction between the reduced-form and the oxidized-form thiols. The use of ABD-F at low temperature enabled the suppression of these thiol exchange reactions, and the recommended conditions were below 5 degrees C for 90 min in borate buffer (pH 9.3). These results suggest that ABD-F is a preferred derivatization reagent for the accurate determination of the reduced-form thiols in samples containing the oxidized-form thiols. In addition, it was also suggested that the derivatization of the reduced-form thiols should also be performed at low temperature when derivatization reagents such as o-phthalaldehyde (OPA) and monobromobimane (BrB) are used.  相似文献

We investigate the finite-size Dicke model with photon leakage. It is shown that the symmetry breaking states, which are characterized by non-vanishing a?0 and correspond to the ground states in the superradiant phase in the thermodynamic limit, are stable, while the eigenstates of the isolated finite-size Dicke Hamiltonian conserve parity symmetry. We introduce and analyze an effective master equation that describes the dynamics of a pair of the symmetry breaking states that are the degenerate lowest energy eigenstates in the superradiant region with photon leakage. It becomes clear that photon leakage is essential to stabilize the symmetry breaking states and to realize the superradiant phase without the thermodynamic limit. Our theoretical analysis provides an alternative interpretation using the finite-size model to explain results from cold atomic experiments showing superradiance with the symmetry breaking in an optical cavity.  相似文献

A homogeneous and disordered assembly of densely packed nanocrystals 2-3 nm in size was synthesized at room temperature in an aqueous solution without the assistance of any organic molecules. The assembled nanocrystals of titanium oxides, such as anatase titanium dioxide, sodium titanate, and a solid solution with rutile tin dioxide, formed macroscopic transparent objects 2-5 mm in size. In general, it is not easy to obtain homogeneous and disordered assembly of nanocrystals without assistance of any organic molecules for the inhibition of inhomogeneous and disordered aggregation. In the present work, the formation of the hydrated layer on the surface of nanocrystals facilitated the homogeneous and disordered assembly. The crystal phases and the compositions of the nanocrystals were controlled by the tuning of the synthetic conditions, such as the initial pH and metal source concentration. Based on the formation processes and mechanisms, this approach for the coupled synthesis and assembly can be applied to a variety of nanomaterials for preparation of homogeneous but disordered assembly.  相似文献

Iron-oxidizing bacteria produce trivalent iron oxides with the controlled crystal phases outside of their cells. Herein we have synthesized iron oxides with controlled oxidation states and crystal phases through a microbial-mineralization-inspired approach in an aqueous solution at low temperature. Trivalent iron oxides, such as lepidocrocite, ferrihydrite, goethite, and hematite, are selectively obtained from an aqueous solution containing divalent iron ions below 90 °C. The presence of a chelating agent facilitates the control of the oxidation states through the ligand-controlled approach because the precipitation of the divalent iron species is inhibited by the complexation between divalent iron ion and a chelating agent. The control of the crystal phases is achieved by the tuning of the synthetic conditions, such as the initial pH, the concentration of a chelating agent, and the reaction temperature. Furthermore, the resultant iron oxides have hierarchically organized structures consisting of nanoscale objects. The microbial-mineralization-inspired approach by using a chelating agent has potentials for the further morphological control of iron oxides and the further application to aqueous-solution syntheses of other metal oxides.  相似文献

This paper considers security implications of k-normal Boolean functions when they are employed in certain stream ciphers. A generic algorithm is proposed for cryptanalysis of the considered class of stream ciphers based on a security weakness of k-normal Boolean functions. The proposed algorithm yields a framework for mounting cryptanalysis against particular stream ciphers within the considered class. Also, the proposed algorithm for cryptanalysis implies certain design guidelines for avoiding certain weak stream cipher constructions. A particular objective of this paper is security evaluation of stream cipher Grain-128 employing the developed generic algorithm. Contrary to the best known attacks against Grain-128 which provide complexity of a secret key recovery lower than exhaustive search only over a subset of secret keys which is just a fraction (up to 5%) of all possible secret keys, the cryptanalysis proposed in this paper provides significantly lower complexity than exhaustive search for any secret key. The proposed approach for cryptanalysis primarily depends on the order of normality of the employed Boolean function in Grain-128. Accordingly, in addition to the security evaluation insights of Grain-128, the results of this paper are also an evidence of the cryptographic significance of the normality criteria of Boolean functions.  相似文献

Magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of nuclei in the light-mass neutron-rich region have been studied by taking advantage of spin-polarized radioactive nuclear beams that have been obtained from the projectile fragmentation reaction. Analyses of the results reveal a few interesting phenomena characteristic of nuclear structures in this region. In particular, we report in some detail the latest result on the magnetic moment of the 17C ground state. The distinctly small value of the g-factor obtained, |g(17C)|=0.5054±0.0025, clearly excludes a I π=1/2+ candidate for the spin-parity assignment of this marginally bound nucleus, providing a reasonable account of the non-halo nature reported in recent breakup reaction experiments. Finally, future plans at the upcoming radioactive beam facility presently under construction at RIKEN are briefly mentioned. The shear-induced ordering of lamellar and gyroid structures of a nonionic surfactant C16E7/D2O system in a Couette shear cell ( 0.001 < < 10 s-1, : shear rate) has been investigated by using a small angle neutron scattering technique. In the lamellar phase, the steady shear flow having > 0.01 s-1 suppresses undulation fluctuations of lamellae (Maxwell effect). This suppression of fluctuations brings two effects; 1) shear-induced lamellae ordering toward a parallel orientation and 2) obstruction of a lamellar↦gyroid transition. It is quite interesting to note that there is a characteristic shear rate range ( 0.01 < < 0.3 s-1), where both effects take place. We have also investigated the shear effects on the gyroid phase. Below the characteristic shear rate range, the gyroid structure keeps three-dimensional network lattice, while above the characteristic shear rate range, the gyroid structure transforms to the parallel orientation lamellae (shear-induced gyroid-lamellar transition). Thus the shear flow having the characteristic shear rate plays very important roles in shear ordering phenomena. Received 26 June 2000 and Received in final form 12 January 2001  相似文献

Structural changes stimulated by ultraviolet (UV) laser irradiations of sol-gel derived inorganic oxide films were investigated. Dried gel films of TiO2, Nb2O5, Ta2O5, SrTiO3 and Pb(Zr x Ti1–x )O3 (PZT) were found to be crystallized by the laser irradiation. On the other hand, the photo-induced change in gel films of BaTiO3, LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 was not observed although the laser beams were absorbed in the films. These sol-gel films were thermally crystallized at almost the same temperature around 600–700°C except TiO2. Thus, the UV-laser-induced crystallization is not directly ascribed to a simple thermal effect with the irradiation. Photochemical properties of the cations are assumed to be important for the change in sol-gel films.  相似文献
