A new optimization criterion for chromatography is presented. It was designed to evaluate the quality of chromatograms in a way similar to human estimation. Selectivity, efficiency, and time of analysis as well as the number of peaks were taken into account. The criterion has been tested in comparison with expert estimations and some modern criteria. A better agreement of the new criterion with human estimation of chromatographic quality compared to some literature criteria is shown. A number of successful optimization runs has been performed using the criterion together with simplex optimization.  相似文献

Summary The liquid phase oxidation of gold in donor-acceptor organic and aqueous-organic media has been studied. The compounds [AuCl(Me2S)], [AuBr(Me2S)], [AuBr3(Me2S)], [Me3S][AuBr4], [Me3S][AuBr4(Me2S)]·H2O, [Me3SO]-[AuBr4]·H2O, [Me3S][Au2Br7(Me2S)2]·3H2O, [Me3S]2-[Au2Br8]·2DMSO·H2O, [Me2(Bu)SO][AuBr4]·H2O and [Me3S]Br were isolated by dissolution of Au0 in DMSO-RX mixtures (R = H or Bu; X = Cl or Br). The products were characterized by elemental analysis and i.r. spectroscopy. The nature of the Au0-DMSO-RX systems and the oxidant species are discussed in terms of a newly-developed concept of donor-acceptor electron transport (DAET) systems.  相似文献

The conformation of the 7-bromo- and 7-iodo-substituted 8-aza-7-deazapurine nucleosides 1 and 2 in the solid state and in aqueous solution was studied by single-crystal X-ray analyses and by 1H-NMR spectroscopy. In the solid state, both compounds display a high-anti conformation around the glycosylic bond, and their 2′-deoxy-β-D -ribofuranose moieties adopt an N-type sugar puckering. The orientation of the exocyclic C(4′)−C(5′) bond was found to be ap in both cases. In D2O solution, both compounds display i) an 8 – 10% higher N-conformer population than 2′-deoxyguanosine and ii) a preference of the −sc conformation about the C(4′)−C(5′) bond. A comparative study on the influence of modified bases on the sugar structure of nucleosides is made.  相似文献

The stepwise reaction of Me2SiCl2 with K[C5H3 tBuMe‐3] or Li[C9H7] and then with K[C9H6CH2CH2‐ NMe2‐1] followed by double deprotonation with NaH or LiBu, yields the two dimethylsilicon bridged cyclopentadienyl‐indenyl and indenyl‐indenyl donor‐functionalized ligand systems K2[(C5H2 tBu‐3‐Me‐5)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)] ( 1 ), and Li2[(1‐C9H6)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)] ( 2 ), respectively. Treatment of 1 with YCl3(THF)3, SmCl3(THF)1.77, TmI3(DME)3, and LuCl3(THF)3 gives the mixed ansa‐metallocenes [(C5H2 tBu‐3‐Me‐5)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)]LnX (X = Cl, Ln = Y ( 3 ), Sm ( 4 ), Lu ( 5 ); X = I, Ln = Tm ( 6 )), respectively. The reaction of 2 with LuCl3(THF)3 yields [(1‐C9H6)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)]LuCl ( 7 ). Compound 4 reacts with LiMe to give the corresponding alkyl derivative [(C5H2 tBu‐3‐Me‐5)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)]Sm(CH3) ( 8 ). The new complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, MS spectrometry, and NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of 5 and 6 were determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

The stabilizing (emulsifying) effect of a symmetric diblock copolymer in the mixture of two immiscible homopolymers is considered. The equilibrium value of the interfacial area per copolymer chain is calculated via minimization of the free energy of the mixture for a fixed number of copolymer chains adsorbed to the interface. The size and concentration of droplets of the minor component are determined for the equilibrium state. The particles' radius is shown to be inversely proportional to the copolymer concentration, the coefficient of proportionality being dependent on the Flory-Huggins parameter and chain length. The penetration of homopolymer segments into the copolymer layer on the interface is taken into account and proved to be important for stabilization of the droplets by symmetric copolymers. The conditions of the validity of the presented approach are discussed in detail.  相似文献

We present results of computer simulations by the method of Brownian dynamics of polymeric brushes attached to impenetrable planes. For testing both model and method we have used one polymer brush attached to a repulsive plane and compare some results with Monte Carlo results of Lai and Binder on the bond fluctuation model. We have also studied two polymeric brushes attached to two parallel planes at different distances between planes, and investigate the interplay between the interpenetration of the brushes and the configurational properties of the grafted chains.  相似文献

Ruthenium is a platinoid that exhibits a range of unique chemical properties in solution, which are exploited in a variety of applications, including luminescent probes, anticancer therapies, and artificial photosynthesis. This paper focuses on a recently demonstrated ability of this metal in its +3 oxidation state to form highly stable complexes with tris (hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (H2NC(CH2OH)3, Tris‐base or T) and imidazole (Im) ligands, where a single RuIII cation is coordinated by two molecules of each T and Im. High‐resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI MS) is used to characterize RuIII complexes formed by placing a RuII complex [(NH3)5RuIICl]Cl in a Tris buffer under aerobic conditions. The most abundant ionic species in ESI MS represent mononuclear complexes containing an oxidized form of the metal, ie, [XnRuIIIT2 – 2H]+, where X could be an additional T (n = 1) or NH3 (n = 0‐2). Di‐ and tri‐metal complexes also give rise to a series of abundant ions, with the highest mass ion representing a metal complex with an empirical formula Ru3C24O21N6H66 (interpreted as cyclo(T2RuO)3, a cyclic oxo‐bridged structure, where the coordination sphere of each metal is completed by two T ligands). The empirical formulae of the binuclear species are consistent with the structures representing acyclic fragments of cyclo(T2RuO)3 with addition of various combinations of ammonia and dioxygen as ligands. Addition of histidine in large molar excess to this solution results in complete disassembly of poly‐nuclear complexes and gives rise to a variety of ionic species in the ESI mass spectrum with a general formula [RuIIIHiskTm (NH3)n ? 2H]+, where k = 0 to 2, m = 0 to 3, and n = 0 to 4. Ammonia adducts are present for all observed combinations of k and m, except k = m = 2, suggesting that [His2RuIIIT2 ? 2H]+ represents a complex with a fully completed coordination sphere. The observed cornucopia of RuIII complexes formed in the presence of histidine is in stark contrast to the previously reported selective reactivity of imidazole, which interacts with the metal by preserving the RuT2 core and giving rise to a single abundant ruthenium complex (represented by [Im2RuIIIT2 ? 2H]+ in ESI mass spectra). Surprisingly, the behavior of a hexa‐histidine peptide (HHHHHH) is similar to that of a single imidazole, rather than a single histidine amino acid: The RuT2 core is preserved, with the following ionic species observed in ESI mass spectra: [HHHHHH·(RuIIIT2)m ? (3m‐1)H]+ (m = 1‐3). The remarkable selectivity of the imidazole interaction with the RuIIIT2 core is rationalized using energetic considerations at the quantum mechanical level of theory.  相似文献

A series of boron-containing lipids were prepared by reactions of cyclic oxonium derivatives of polyhedron boranes and metallacarboranes (closo-dodecaborate anion, cobalt and iron bis(dicarbollides)) with amine and carboxylic acids which are derived from cholesterol. Stable liposomal formulations, on the basis of synthesized boron-containing lipids, hydrogenated soybean l -α-phosphatidylcholine and (HSPC) 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000] (DSPE-PEG) as excipients, were prepared and then characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS) that revealed the formation of particles to be smaller than 200 nm in diameter. The resulting liposomal formulations showed moderate to excellent loading and entrapment efficiency, thus justifying the design of the compounds to fit in the lipid bilayer and ensuring ease of in vivo use for future application. The liposomal formulations based on cobalt and iron bis(dicarbollide)-based lipids were found to be nontoxic against both human breast normal epithelial cells MCF-10A and human breast cancer cells MCF-7.  相似文献

The “disappearing polymorph” phenomenon is well established in organic solids, and has had a profound effect in pharmaceutical materials science. The first example of this effect in metal-containing systems in general, and in coordination-network solids in particular, is here reported. Specifically, attempts to mechanochemically synthesize a known interpenetrated diamondoid (dia) mercury(II) imidazolate metal–organic framework (MOF) yielded a novel, more stable polymorph based on square-grid (sql) layers. Simultaneously, the dia-form was found to be highly elusive, observed only as a short-lived intermediate in monitoring solvent-free synthesis and not at all from solution. The destabilization of a dense dia-framework relative to a lower dimensionality one is in contrast to the behavior of other imidazolate MOFs, with periodic density functional theory (DFT) calculations showing that it arises from weak interactions, including structure-stabilizing agostic C−H⋅⋅⋅Hg contacts. While providing a new link between MOFs and crystal engineering of organic solids, these findings highlight a possible role for agostic interactions in directing topology and stability of MOF polymorphs.  相似文献

The homogeneity range of ternary iron indium thiospinel at 873 K was investigated. A detailed study was focused on two distinct series (y=z): 1) a previously reported charge-balanced (In0.67+0.33y0.33−0.33y)tetr[In2−zFez]octS4 (A1-series; □ stands for vacancy; the abbreviations “tetr” and “oct” indicate atoms occupying tetrahedral 8a and octahedral 16d sites, respectively) and 2) a new charge-unbalanced (In0.67+y0.33−y)tetr[In2−zFez]octS4 (A2-series). Fe atoms were confirmed to exclusively occupy an octahedral position in both series. An unusual reduction of the unit cell parameter with increasing Fe content is explained by differences in the ionic radii between Fe and In, as well as by an additional electrostatic attraction originating from charge imbalance (latter only in A2-series). The studied compound is an n-type semiconductor, and its charge carrier concentration increases or decreases for larger Fe content within the A1- and A2-series, respectively. The thermal conductivity κtot is significantly reduced upon increasing vacancy concentration, whereas the change of power factor is insufficient to drastically improve the thermoelectric figure of merit.  相似文献
