After a broad scouting based on quantum chemical calculations, optical absorption measurements in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) wavelength region between 140 and 190 nm were performed on a narrower series of commercial and experimental liquids. By elimination of sources of external contamination, mainly due to atmospheric gases, the analysis of the contributions to the absorption related to the backbone structure and to the chain end composition allowed the synthesis of a novel family of linear perfluoropolyethers (PFPEs) with optical absorbance at 157 nm between 0.3 and 0.6 cm(-1) in a broad range of compositions and molecular weights. The dependence of the optical threshold on the PFPE composition demonstrates that -OCF2- is the most transparent segmental unit in the VUV region.  相似文献

Pyrolysis of sugarcane bagasse and coconut fiber was studied by thermal analysis in order to characterize their thermal behavior and to identify their constituents by the aid of their thermogravimetric curves and to determine their heat capacity by means of DSC. The Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrum (FTIR) was used to determine the main constituents present in both residues. The thermal degradation of sugarcane bagasse and coconut fiber presents two mass loss steps attributed to the release of humidity and to the decomposition of organic material (hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin). It was expected that the results of DSC analysis were almost the same for both types of biomasses.  相似文献

Eggs of Psorophora albigenu were analyzed by light and scanning electron microscopy. Eggs were laid singly and were black and elliptical in outline. A length of approximately 586.4 ± 10.83 μm, a width of 172.3 ± 8.09 μm (n=30), and an egg index (length/width ratio) of 3.33 were observed. The anterior extremity tapered abruptly from a width of 64.9 μm, while such tapering was more gradual at the posterior extremity from a width of 77.4 μm. The ventral surface of the chorionic coating presented cells with tubular aspect containing tubercles in rows with a density of 9-16 tubercles per cell. These tubercles presented two different sizes, with the largest measuring 7.87 ± 01.58 μm and the smallest measuring 0.71 ± 0.53 μm (n=30) in longitudinal diameter. The micropyle orifice was very evident, with a diameter of 3.36 μm. The morphometric characteristics of Ps. albigenu obtained in this study were distinct from those of other species of the Psorophora genus, including Psorophora varipes which has been considered for a long time to be synonymous with Ps. albigenu.  相似文献

We present a search for pair production of doubly charged Higgs bosons in the processes qqˉ→H(++)H(--) decaying through H(±±)→τ(±)τ(±),μ(±)τ(±),μ(±)μ(±). The search is performed in ppˉ collisions at a center-of-mass energy of √s = 1.96 TeV using an integrated luminosity of up to 7.0 fb(-1) collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The results are used to set 95% C.L. limits on the pair production cross section of doubly charged Higgs bosons and on their mass for different H(±±) branching fractions. Models predicting different H(±±) decays are investigated. Assuming B(H(±±)→τ(±)τ(±))=1 yields an observed (expected) lower limit on the mass of a left-handed H(L)(±±) boson of 128 (116) GeV and assuming B(H(±±)→μ(±)τ(±))=1 the corresponding limits are 144 (149) GeV. In a model with B(H(±±)→τ(±)τ(±))=B(H(±±)→μ(±)τ(±))=B(H(±±)→μ(±)μ(±))=1/3, we obtain M(H(L)(±±))>130 (138) GeV.  相似文献

This study aims to analyze thermal stability and make a rheological assessment of sunflower oil produced in the Northeast of Brazil, resulting from the pyrolysis process. Oil samples were submitted to thermal degradation and the reaction was evaluated by the thermogravimetric technique, at temperatures between 30 and 900?°C. Apparent activation energy was determined using the model-free kinetics theory. The coaxial cylinder system at operating temperature of 40?°C was used to obtain rheological parameters. Oil was characterized by gas chromatography. The lipid profile of the oil exhibited good quality. The activation energy of the sunflower oil was 201.2?kJ?mol?1. Results showed the influence of physical?Cchemical characteristics of vegetable oil on the thermal decomposition process. Rheological analyses confirmed Newtonian rheological behavior. The high potential of the ??Catissol?? variety produced in Northeast Brazil as raw material for biofuel production using pyrolysis was also demonstrated.  相似文献

Pure end products in their binary eutectic of a benzoic acid-benzamide system, grownunidirectionally and randomly, exhibited marked anisotropy in their peculiar properties particularly if the growth is carried out in some periodic manner. Modulus of ruptures of eutectic composite and the constituent materials for both the growths have been determined. Directional-growth of the composite yields a bending strength quite larger than that can be obtained from an anomalous growth. Pure components also offer slighly greater strength in an ordered growth. Microphotographs of grown materials are related to the mode of crystallization of the materials.  相似文献

The tensile and compressive strengths of directionally and randomly grown samples of naphthalene, benzil, and their eutectic in the faceted-faceted benzil-naphthalene system have been determined. The tensile strength of naphthalene and the eutectic increased significantly on directional solidification. Directional solidification substantially enhanced the compressive strength of the eutetic whes rea decrease in compressiv strength was observed in case of directionally grown naphthalene. In case of benzil, no appreciable change in strength was observed on directional solidification. A comparison between the tensile and compressive strength was made. The compressive strength was 2.5–3.8 times more than the tensile strength of naphthalene, grown randomly, benzil and their eutectic grown randomly and directionally.  相似文献
