A series of epoxy cured samples, with different molar composition of 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (EP), cis-1,2-cyclohexanedicarboxylic anhydride (CH) and triethylamine (TEA) as initiator, was studied by Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in the frequency range 10−2-105 Hz. The resistivity of the system was evaluated by using the complex impedance analysis method. Resistivity values in the range between 107 and 1013 Ω cm were obtained and related to the composition (molar fraction xEP or xCH) of the epoxy system. The interaction of dissolved organic matter (DOM) with copper and zinc in a concentrated seawater sample was characterised by pseudopolarography. Measurements performed at increased concentrations of copper(II) ions showed successive saturation of active DOM sites which indicate possible partition of copper between (i) free or labile complexes, (ii) reduced and released within the potential window of the method, and (iii) electroinactive copper complexes. Pseudopolarograms measured at pH 4 indicate a release of copper which was bound to the active sites of DOM that formed non-labile complexes. Variation of the peak position and half-peak width along the scanned deposition potentials and with the increasing concentration of copper bear the information about the complex electrochemical processes at the electrode surface and in the bulk of the solution. Pseudopolarograms of zinc showed a strong dependence of the peak current and the peak position along the scanned deposition potentials on pH values, indicating preferentially complexation of zinc with carboxylic-like active sites of DOM in the measured sample. Pseudopolarography is a valuable method in the trace metal complexation and speciation studies, serving as a fingerprint of the analysed sample. 相似文献

We compute the spectra of the adjacency matrices of the semi-regular polytopes. A few different techniques are employed: the most sophisticated, which relates the 1-skeleton of the polytope to a Cayley graph, is based on methods akin to those of Lovász and Babai ([L], [B]). Raman spectra of dilute solutions of acetonitrile in ionic liquids reveal the characteristic features of ionic liquids' polarity. This is accomplished by investigating the Raman bandshape of the ν (CN) band, corresponding to the CN stretching mode of CH3CN, which is a very sensitive probe of the local environment. The amphiphilic nature of the CH3CN molecule allows us to observe the effect of electron pair acceptor and electron pair donor characteristics on ionic liquids. It has been found that the overall polarity of nine different ionic liquids based on 1‐alkyl‐3‐methylimidazolium cations is more dependent on the anion than cation. The observed wavenumber shift of the ν (CN) band of CH3CN in ionic liquids containing alkylsulfate anions agrees with the significant different values previously measured for the dielectric constant of these ionic liquids. The conclusions obtained from the analysis of the ν (CN) band were corroborated by the analysis of the symmetric ν1 (CD3 ) stretching mode of deuterated acetonitrile in different ionic liquids. A crystallizer for growing large single crystals from solution under steady-state concentration convection conditions is described. The crystallizer has only one vessel divided by a drilled plate in two compartments kept at different temperatures. The convection of concentration occurs through the dividing plate between the compartments. The crystallizer was used for growing KDP and TGS single crystals. Mass- and heat transfer equations are derived. Growth rate calculations may be carried out using the derived equations. Growth rate measurements of KDP crystals have been performed. The overall heat transfer coefficient for the transfer of heat through the dividing plate is also experimentally determined. Light absorption, ESR and Mössbauer spectra have shown the presence of Fe+2, Cr+3 and Mn+2 ions in the (100) greenish zones of KDP crystals. 相似文献

An expedient synthesis of orthogonally protected lysinoalanine has been developed. We have prepared a novel Garner’s aldehyde derivative bearing an Aloc group; reductive amination of this aldehyde with Fmoc-Lys-OPMB gave the lysinoalanine skeleton. This was then transformed into an orthogonally protected lysinoalanine derivative suitable for the synthesis of side-chain bridged cyclic peptides by solid phase peptide synthesis methods. 相似文献
