In the interest of a more thorough understanding of the relationship between sample deposition technique and the quality of data obtained using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry, details of the electrospray (ES) process of sample deposition are investigated using a number of techniques. Sample morphology was observed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM), while matrix-enhanced secondary ion mass spectrometry (MESIMS) monitored surface coverage. Electrospray deposition reduces the analyte segregation that can occur during traditional dried droplet deposition for MALDI. We attribute statistically significant improvements in the reproducibility of signal intensity and MALDI average molecular mass measurements to the ES sample deposition technique.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structures of Ru3(CO)6{μ 3-OPPh2C2H(C6H4)PPhCH2PPh}-(μ 3-OPPh2)Ph (1) and Ru3(CO)6{μ-OPPh2C2H(C6H4)PPhO}(μ-PPh2)(μ-PPh2O) (2) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both complexes contain oxygen atoms oxidatively inserted into phosphorus–ruthenium bonds, and unique σ/π multidentate ligands formed from C $---{\text{H}}$ H and C $--$ P bond cleavage in bis(diphenylphosphino)acetylene and bis(diphenylphosphino)methane. Complex 1 crystallized in the triclinic space group ${\bar 1}$ , with lattice parameters a = 11.642(4) Å, b = 15.018(5) Å, c =16.587(5) Å, α = 2.48(3)°, β = 76.47(2)°, γ = 70.35(3)°, V = 2651.1(15) Å3, Z = 2. Complex 2 crystallized in the centered monoclinic space group, C2/c, with lattice parameters a = 34.467(4) Å, b = 14.274(2) Å, c = 23.258(3) Å, β = 5.29(1)°, V = 11394(3) Å3, Z = 8.  相似文献

In this article, fractional calculus approach is used in the constitutive relationship of a Burgers’ fluid model. Integral transforms are used to calculate the velocity and the stress fields for some helical flows of a Burgers’ fluid with fractional derivative. A modified fractional sub-equation method is applied to Wick-type stochastic fractional two-dimensional (2D) KdV equations. With the help of a Hermit transform, we obtain a new set of exact stochastic solutions to Wick-type stochastic fractional 2D KdV equations in the white noise space. These solutions include exponential decay wave solutions, soliton wave solutions, and periodic wave solutions. Two examples are explicitly given to illustrate our approach.  相似文献

Reaction of [Ru3(CO)10(μ-dppm)] (1) with H2S at 66 °C affords high yields of the sulfur-capped dihydride [Ru3(CO)7(μ-H)2(μ-dppm)(μ3-S)] (2), formed by oxidative-addition of both hydrogen-sulfur bonds. Hydrogenation of [Ru3(CO)7(μ-dppm)(μ3-CO)(μ3-S)] (3) at 110 °C also gives 2 in similar yields, while hydrogenation of [Ru3(CO)7(μ-dppm)(μ3-CO)(μ3-Se)] (4) affords [Ru3(CO)7(μ-H)2(μ-dppm)(μ3-Se)] (5) in 85% yield. The molecular structures of 2 and 5 reveal that the diphosphine and one hydride simultaneously bridge the same ruthenium-ruthenium edge with the second hydride spanning one of the non-bridged edges. Both 2 and 5 are fluxional at room temperature being attributed to hydride migration between the non-bridged edges. Addition of HBF4 to 2 affords the cationic trihydride [Ru3(CO)7(μ-H)3(μ-dppm)(μ3-S)][BF4] (6) in which the hydrides are non-fluxional due to the blocking of the free ruthenium-ruthenium edge.  相似文献

Composite membranes prepared from poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(sulfone) were crosslinked with trimesoyl chloride (TMC) solutions. The degree of crosslinking, crystallinity, surface roughness and hydrophobicity of the crosslinked PVA–PSf membranes were determined from attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and contact angle measurements, respectively. Results showed a consistent trend of changes in the physicochemical properties: the degree of crosslinking, crystallinity, surface roughness, hydrophobicity and swelling degree all decrease with increasing crosslinking agent (TMC) concentration and reaction time. The crosslinked membrane performance was assessed with pervaporation dehydration of ethylene glycol solutions at a range of concentrations (30–90 wt% EG) in the feed mixtures. The total flux of permeation was found to decrease, while the selectivity to increase, with increasing TMC concentration and reaction time. The decrease in flux was most prominent at low EG concentrations in the feed mixtures. In addition, the temperature effect on the pervaporation dehydration was investigated in relation to solution–diffusion mechanisms.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to provide the exact analytic solutions of accelerated flows for a Burgers’ fluid when the relaxation times satisfy the conditions γ = λ2/4 and γ > λ2/4. The velocity field and the adequate tangential stress that is induced by the flow due to constantly accelerating plate and flow due to variable accelerating plate are determined by means of Laplace transform. All the solutions that have been obtained are presented in the form of simple or multiple integrals in terms of Bessel functions. A comparison between Burgers’ and Newtonian fluids for the velocity and the shear stress is also made through several graphs.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to discuss some unidirectional flows of a viscoelastic fluid between two parallel plates with fractional Burgers’ fluid model. The exact analytical solutions for Plane Poiseuille and Plane Couette flows are obtained by using the finite Fourier sine transform and the Laplace transform. Moreover, the graphs are plotted to show the effects of different parameters on the velocity field.  相似文献

A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method is described that allows interleaved measurements of transverse (R(2)(*) and R(2)) and longitudinal (R(1)) relaxation rates of tissue water in conjunction with spin labeling. The image-contrasts are intrinsically blood oxygenation level dependent (BOLD) and cerebral blood flow (CBF) weighted, but each contrast is made quantitative by two echo time (TE) and inversion recovery time (TIR) acquisitions with gradient echo (GE) and spin echo (SE) weighted echo-planar imaging (EPI). The EPI data were acquired at 7 Tesla with nominal spatial resolution of 430 x 430 x 1000 microm(3) in rat brain in vivo. The method is termed as blood oxygenation level dependent exponential decays adjusted for flow attenuated inversion recovery (BOLDED AFFAIR) and allows acquisition of R(2)(*), R(2), and CBF maps in an interleaved manner within approximately 12 minute. The basic theory of the method, associated experimental/systematic errors, and temporal restrictions are discussed. The method is validated by comparison of multi-modal maps obtained by BOLDED AFFAIR (i.e., two TE and TIR values with GE and SE sequences) and conventional approach (i.e., multiple TE and TIR values with GE and SE sequences) during varied levels of whole brain activity. Preliminary functional data from a rat forepaw stimulation model demonstrate the feasibility of this method for functional MRI (fMRI) studies. It is expected that with appropriate precautions this method in conjunction with contrast agent-based MRI has great potential for quantitative fMRI studies of mammalian cortex.  相似文献
