A possible scenario of the Lorentz symmetry violation is discussed based on the arising of geometric quantum phases yielded by the effects of the Lorentz symmetry violation in the CPT‐even gauge sector of Standard Model Extension. Analogues of the Anandan quantum phase and the scalar Aharonov‐Bohm effect for a neutral particle [J. Anandan, Phys. Lett. A 138 , 347 (1989)] are obtained from the parity‐odd sector of the tensor . Moreover, we build quantum holonomies associated with the analogue of the Anandan quantum phase and discuss a possible analogy with the geometric quantum computation [A. Ekert et al., J. Mod. Opt. 47 , 2501 (2000)].
The restriction (prohibition) of certain turns at intersections is a very common task employed by the managers of urban traffic networks. Surprisingly, this approach has received little attention in the research literature. The turning restriction design problem (TRDP) involves finding a set of turning restrictions at intersections to promote flow in a congested urban traffic network. This article uses a successive linear approximation (SLA) method for identifying approximate solutions to a nonlinear model of the TRDP. It aims to adjust the current turning restriction regime in a given network in order to minimize total user travel cost when route choice is driven by user equilibrium principles. Novel features of the method include the facts that it is based on link capacity-based arc travel costs and there is a budget constraint on the total cost of all turning restriction alterations. It has been tested using standard network examples from the literature. One of the tests utilized a multi-start approach which improved the solutions produced by the SLA method. The method was also employed to identify turning restrictions for an actual medium-sized urban traffic network in Brazil. Computational experience with the proposed method is promising. 相似文献
Obtaining oligosaccharides from chitosan has been the focus of several studies in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and medical areas, due to their functional properties. Here, we evaluated the production potential of biologically functional chitooligosaccharides using enzymes extracts produced by Paenibacillus chitinolyticus and Paenibacillus ehimensis. After 48 h of fermentation, these microorganisms were able to produce chitosanases, which generated oligomers with a degree of polymerization between dimers and hexamers. The maximum conversion of chitosan to oligomers was 99.2 %, achieved after 12 h incubation of chitosan with enzymes produced by P. ehimensis. The chitooligosaccharides generated were capable of scavenging the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical, reaching a maximum scavenging rate of 61 and 39 % when produced with P. ehimensis and P. chitinolyticus enzymes, respectively. The use of these enzymes in the crude form could facilitate their use in industrial applications. 相似文献
Carvacrol (CV) is an essential oil with numerous therapeutic properties, including immunomodulatory activity. However, this effect has not been studied in nanoemulsion systems. The objective of this study was to develop an innovative carvacrol-loaded nanoemulsion (CVNE) for immunomodulatory action. The developed CVNE comprised of 5% w/w oily phase (medium chain triglycerides + CV), 2% w/w surfactants (Tween 80®/Span 80®), and 93% w/w water, and was produced by ultrasonication. Dynamic light scattering over 90 days was used to characterize CVNE. Cytotoxic activity and quantification of cytokines were evaluated in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) culture supernatants. CVNE achieved a drug loading of 4.29 mg/mL, droplet size of 165.70 ± 0.46 nm, polydispersity index of 0.14 ± 0.03, zeta potential of −10.25 ± 0.52 mV, and good stability for 90 days. CVNE showed no cytotoxicity at concentrations up to 200 µM in PBMCs. CV diminished the production of IL-2 in the PBMC supernatant. However, CVNE reduced the levels of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-2, IL-17, and IFN-γ at 50 µM. In conclusion, a stable CVNE was produced, which improved the CV immunomodulatory activity in PBMCs. 相似文献
This work presents a software for analysis and synthesis of four types of planar lines used on the millimeter wave band: Suspended Microstrip Line, Inverted Microstrip Line, Suspended Stripline and Broadside Coupled Stripline. Conceived for IBM/PG or compatible microcomputers, the program, (MMWL), can study each configuration at a time or all of them at once, and it does not matter if it is synthesis or analysis for each line at the same time. The results are presented in Tables shown in the same screen. The program also provides curves of characteristic impedances against conducting strip width for each one of studied structures. Therefore, it allows choosing the best combination for circuit realization, becoming a helpful tool for projects and with acceptable results. 相似文献
We report Ab Initio studies of the electric dipole polarizability of the linear polyacene series benzene through nonacene. A number of Ab Initio studies were done at different levels of theory for benzene, with all remaining Ab Initio calculations being at the B3LYP/6-311G(2d, 1p)//B3LYP/6-311+G(2d, 1p) level of theory. We find that the NN tensor component
shows a constant increment of 20 atomic units per ring. AM1 and QSAR-quality empirical calculations show poor absolute agreement
with the Ab Initio results but given excellent statistical correlation coefficients with the Ab Initio values. This implies that the results of such cheaper calculations can be suitably scaled for predictive purposes. 相似文献
The Transverse Transmission Line method is used for the characterization of bilateral and unilateral finlines on a semiconductor substrate and in conjunction with the modal method, for the calculation of the scattering parameters due to a step discontinuity on a unilateral finline with a lossless dielectric substrate.Numerical results of the effective dielectric constant, attenuation constant and characteristic impedance for the bilateral and unilateral finlines on semiconductor substrates, and results of scattering parameters of a step discontinuity for unilateral finline, are presented. 相似文献
The aim of this work was to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of ethanol (EEAC) and hexane (HFAC) extracts from the stem bark of Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.) Brenan var. cebil alone or in combination with aminoglycosides against multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacteria. Minimal inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of the extracts were determined by using microdilution assay. For the evaluation of extracts as modulators of antibiotic resistance, MICs of neomycin and amikacin were determined in presence or absence of each compound at sub-inhibitory concentrations. Both EEAC and HFAC did not show antimicrobial activity against MDR strains tested. However, the addition of EEAC and HFAC enhanced the activity of neomycin and amikacin against Staphylococcus aureus SA10 strain. When the natural products were replaced by chlorpromazine, the same effect was observed. Anadenanthera colubrine var. cebil may be a source of phytochemicals able to potentiate the aminoglycoside activity against MDR S. aureus by the inhibition of efflux pump. 相似文献
