Structural elucidation of metabolites of ginkgolic acid in rat liver microsomes by ultra‐performance liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry and hydrogen/deuterium exchange

Ginkgolic acids have been shown to possess allergenic as well as genotoxic and cytotoxic properties. The question arises whether the metabolism of ginkgolic acids in the liver could decrease or increase their toxicity. In this study, the in vitro metabolism of ginkgolic acid (15:1, GA), one component of ginkgo acids, was investigated as a model compound in Sprague‐Dawley rat liver microsomes. The metabolites were analyzed by ultra‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detector/negative‐ion electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC‐PDA/ESI‐MS/MS) and hydrogen/deuterium (H/D) exchange. The result showed that the benzene ring remained unchanged and the oxidations occurred at the side alkyl chain in rat liver microsomes. At least eight metabolites were found. Among them, six phase I metabolites were tentatively identified. This study might be useful for the investigation of toxicological mechanism of ginkgolic acids. 本文研究了群分次环的有限正规分次扩张问题．利用经典环论方法，得到一个群分次环与其有限正规分次扩张环之间关于分次Jacobson根和分次素根的关系，同时，给出了分次情形的Cutting down定理和Lying over定理．     

Gradient estimates in Orlicz space for nonlinear elliptic equations

In this paper we generalize gradient estimates in Lp space to Orlicz space for weak solutions of elliptic equations of p-Laplacian type with small BMO coefficients in δ-Reifenberg flat domains. Our results improve the known results for such equations using a harmonic analysis-free technique.     

A class of Sierpinski carpets with overlaps

Based on a scheme by Lau and Ngai, a sufficient and necessary condition for an IFS of contractive similitudes to satisfy the open set condition is given. A class of Sierpinski carpets with parameters (λ₁,λ₂) is then investigated.     

A note on testing for constant hazard against a change-point alternative

Summary The problem of testing for constant hazard against a change-point alternative is considered. It is shown that this problem is related to another one in quality control. Based on this relationship, a test is proposed. The main advantages of this test are its computational simplicity and the ready availability of small and large sample distribution theory.     

Macroporous Morphology of the Titania Films Prepared by a Sol-Gel Dip-Coating Method from the System Containing Poly(Ethylene Glycol). III. Effect of Chemical Additives

The variation of macroporous morphology has been studied for the titania (TIO₂) films prepared by a sol-gel dip-coating method from the system containing poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) under the addition of various types of organic solvents. The influence of externally-added solvent is interpreted by considering the compatibility between PEG and the solvent mixture, the volatility of the solvent mixture, and the polycondensation rate of titania oligomers. The macroscopic domain formation is remarkable when the compatibility between the solvent mixture and PEG is relatively poor and the boiling point of external solvent is relatively low.
