Pyrrole alkaloids from <Emphasis Type=Italic>Alhagi sparsifolia</Emphasis>

The novel pyrrole alkaloid alhagifoline A (1) together with the two known analogs pyrrolezanthine (2) and pyrrolezanthine-6-methyl ether (3) were isolated from the aerial part of Alhagi sparsifolia. Their structures were established based on spectral (HR-ESI-MS, ¹ H and ¹³C NMR, ¹ H–¹ H COSY, HSQC, HMBC) data. Compounds 2 and 3 were isolated from the genus Alhagi for the first time.     

Sorption equilibria of CO2 on silica-gels in the presence of water

The sorption equilibria of carbon dioxide on three types of silica gel (SG) with different pore size distributions in the presence of water were studied experimentally using a volumetric method at 275?K with pressures from 0 to 3.7?MPa. Both the pore size distribution of the silica gel and the quantity of pre-sorbed water impact the formation of the CO₂ hydrates. For wet silicon gel A(SG-A) with water loading ratio of 0.75, the highest CO₂ sorption was about 2.5?mmol of CO₂ per gram of dry sorbent at 275?K. Similarly, the highest sorption was about 2.7?mmol for wet SG-B with R _w =0.81. However, CO₂ hydrate did not form on the wet surface of SG-C due to its large pore sizes.     

Correlated scale-free network with community: modeling and transportation dynamics

Many transport processes on network depend crucially on the underlying network topology. In this paper, we propose a model to generate correlated scale free transportation networks with community structure by considering the mechanisms of dynamical network evolution and rewiring links. With the introduction of congestion effects, we investigate the performance and carrying capacity of this network. The results show that congestion in the uncorrelated network is more serious than the assortative or disassortative ones. Therefore, the correlated network with communities can bear much more traffic flow. In addition, the networks with lager modularity can enhance the transportation efficiently.     

A comparison of master equation and Fokker-Planck equation in the thermodynamic limit

The master equation and the Fokker-Planck equation are compared thoroughly in both of the stationary and the time-dependent cases for a one-dimensional system. The comparison includes the master equation without detailed balance.     

Excited states in126Ba

The K=3/2 ₁ ^T rotational band has been identified in⁹⁹Y with a band-head energy of 536 keV. This result is in contradiction with previously reported data, but is in agreement with predictions of the IBFM/PTQM model.
