New poly(diphenylacetylene)s with alkoxy and fluoroalkyl groups as electron‐donating and electron‐withdrawing groups, respectively, were synthesized by using a WCl6‐n‐Ph4Sn catalyst. The polymer solutions emitted strong, bluish‐green lights when photo‐excited. The polymers that contained the electron‐donating alkoxy groups showed longer fluorescence‐maximum peaks when compared to the polymers that contained the electron‐withdrawing fluoroalkyl groups. However, such an effect of the substituent on the absorption property was not clearly seen. The emission bands of the solid films did not show any significant red shift, relative to that of the dilute solution.

A catalytic oxidative polycyclization reaction initiated by the carbocyclization of 1,5-dienes with Pd(II) is reported. Trapping of a putative carbocation with suitable functional groups (phenols, alkenes, alcohols, sulfonamide), or rearrangement protocols (Pinacol) yields poly-cyclic products in good yields and in excellent diastereoselectivities. Here we report a novel hard-templating strategy for the synthesis of mesoporous monocrystalline Pt nanoparticles (NPs) with uniform shapes and sizes. Mesoporous Pt NPs were successfully prepared through controlled chemical reduction using ascorbic acid by employing 3D bicontinuous mesoporous silica (KIT-6) and 2D mesoporous silica (SBA-15) as a hard template. The particle size could be controlled by changing the reduction time. Interestingly, the Pt replicas prepared from KIT-6 showed polyhedral morphology. A variety of benzylidenethiazole analogs have been demonstrated to inhibit 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX). Here we report the anti-atherogenic potential of 5-(4-hydroxy- 2,3,5-trimethylbenzylidene) thiazolidin-2,4-dione (HMB-TZD), a benzylidenethiazole analog, and its potential mechanism of action in LDL receptor-deficient (Ldlr-/-) mice. HMB-TZD Treatment reduced leukotriene B4 (LTB4) production significantly in RAW264.7 macrophages and SVEC4-10 endothelial cells. Macrophages or endothelial cells pre-incubated with HMB-TZD for 2 h and then stimulated with lipopolysaccharide or tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) displayed reduced cytokine production. Also, HMB-TZD reduced cell migration and adhesion in accordance with decreased proinflammatory molecule production in vitro and ex vivo. HMB-TZD treatment of 8-week-old male Ldlr-/- mice resulted in significantly reduced atherosclerotic lesions without a change to plasma lipid profiles. Moreover, aortic expression of pro-atherogenic molecules involved in the recruitment of monocytes to the aortic wall, including TNF-α , MCP-1, and VCAM-1, was downregulated. HMB-TZD also reduced macrophage infiltration into atherosclerotic lesions. In conclusion, HMB-TZD ameliorates atherosclerotic lesion formation possibly by reducing the expression of proinflammatory molecules and monocyte/macrophage recruitment to the lesion. These results suggest that HMB-TZD, and benzylidenethiazole analogs in general, may have therapeutic potential as treatments for atherosclerosis. 相似文献

The chemical compatibility of perovskite-type Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3?δ (BSCF) oxides with Cr2O3 has been examined between room temperature and 1,100 °C. Differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis were used to analyze the thermal behavior of BSCF–Cr2O3 binary mixtures in all composition ranges (0–100 mass% BSCF). The reaction products were identified by X-ray analysis after heating at 700–1,100 °C. As we expected, it was found that perovskite-type BSCF oxide had a poor chemical compatibility with the Cr2O3 oxide. In particular, the decomposition process of the BSCF–Cr2O3 binary mixture is quite complex and it starts at about 700–750 °C. The mixtures of BSCF and Cr2O3 oxides reacted forming mixed complex oxides based on (Ba/Sr)FeO3, (Co/Fe)CrO4, and (Ba/Sr)CrO4 mixtures. 相似文献

A highly sensitive nanomechanical cantilever sensor assay based on an electrical measurement has been developed for detecting activated cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cyclic AMP)-dependent protein kinase (PKA). Employing a peptide derived from the heat-stable protein kinase inhibitor (PKI), a magnetic bead system was first selected as a vehicle to immobilize the PKI-(5-24) peptide for capturing PKA catalytic subunit and the activity assay was applied for indirectly assessing the binding. Synergistic interactions of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and the peptide inhibitor with the kinase were then investigated by a solution phase capillary electrophoretic assay, and by surface plasmon resonance technology which involved immobilization of the peptide inhibitor. After systemically evaluated by a homogeneous direct binding assay, the ATP-dependent recognition of the catalytic subunit of PKA by PKI-(5-24) was successfully transferred on to the nanomechanical cantilevers at protein concentrations of 6.6 pM-66 nM, exhibiting much higher sensitivity and wider dynamic range than the conventional activity assay. Thus, direct assessment of activated kinases using the cantilever sensor system functionalized with specific peptide inhibitors holds great promise in analytical applications and clinical medicine. 相似文献

In this study, we have synthesized sorbitan acrylate through response surface methodology, using sorbitan and vinyl acrylate that catalyze immobilized lipase. In order to optimize the enzymatic synthesis of the sorbitan acrylate, we applied response surface techniques to determine the effects of five-level-four-factors and their reciprocal interactions with the biosynthesis of sorbitan acrylate. Our statistical model predicted that the highest conversion yield of sorbitan acrylate would be approx 100%, under the following optimized reaction conditions: a reaction temperature of 40.1 degrees C, a reaction time of 237.4 min, an enzyme concentration of 8%, and a 4.49:1 acyl donor/acceptor molar ratio. Using these optimal conditions in three independent replicates, the conversion yield reached 97.6+/-1.3%. 相似文献

In this study, the formation and characteristics of Sr-doped praseodymium alkaline-earth cobalt oxide were studied as a function of the strontium content (x). PrBa1?x Sr x Co2O5+d ceramics with x?=?0.0, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2.5 were prepared by solid-state reaction method from Pr6O11, BaCO3, SrCO3, and Co3O4. The solid-state reaction mechanisms were analyzed by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetry (TG) techniques to characterize properly the distinct thermal events occurring during synthesis of layered perovskite-type PrBa1?x Sr x Co2O5+d oxides. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) results were used to assist the interpretation of DTA?CTG analyses. The TG, DTA, and XRD results for the mixtures showed that the solid-state reaction between precursors was completed in a temperature range between 800 and 1000?°C. The strong influence of strontium contents (x) on the solid-state reaction temperatures and PrBa1?x Sr x Co2O5+d structure was found. 相似文献

An efficient and eco-friendly procedure for the synthesis of 2-amino-5-oxo-4-aryl-4H,5H-pyrano[3,2-c]chromene-3-carboxamide has been developed through a one-pot three-component condensation of 4-hydroxycoumarin with aldehydes and cyanoacetamide, in the presence of catalytic amount of polystyrene-supported p-toluenesulfonic acid (PS-PTSA) as a highly active and reusable heterogeneous acid catalyst in EtOH at 80?°C conditions. This new procedure offers several advantages such as shorter reaction times, excellent yields, a wide range of functional group tolerance, easy experimental work-up procedure, operationally simple under metal-free reaction conditions and C-C/C-O bond formation. The catalyst can be recovered and reused for at least four runs without any significant impact on the product yields. 相似文献
