We study the ground-state properties of frustrated Heisenberg ferrimagnetic
ladders with antiferromagnetic exchange interactions and two types of
alternating sublattice spins. In the limit of strong rung couplings, we show
that the mixed spin-1/2 and spin-1 ladders can be systematically mapped onto
a spin-1/2 Heisenberg model with additional next-nearest-neighbor exchanges.
The system is either in a ferrimagnetic state or in a critical spin-liquid
state depending on the competition between the spin exchanges along the legs

Detecting functional connectivity in the resting brain: a comparison between ICA and CCA 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Independent component analysis (ICA) and cross-correlation analysis (CCA) are general tools for detecting resting-state functional connectivity. In this study, we jointly evaluated these two approaches based on simulated data and in vivo functional magnetic resonance imaging data acquired from 10 resting healthy subjects. The influence of the number of independent components (maps) on the results of ICA was investigated. The influence of the selection of the seeds on the results of CCA was also examined. Our results reveal that significant differences between these two approaches exist. The performance of ICA is superior as compared with that of CCA; in addition, the performance of ICA is not significantly affected by structured noise over a relatively large range. The results of ICA could be affected by the number of independent components if this number is too small, however. Converting the spatially independent maps of ICA into z maps for thresholding tends to overestimate the false-positive rate. However, the overestimation is not very severe and may be acceptable in most cases. The results of CCA are dependent on seeds location. Seeds selected based on different criteria will significantly affect connectivity maps. 相似文献

Spectroscopic evidence of the multiple- site structure of Eu(3+) ions incorporated in ZnO nanocrystals 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Hexagonal Eu(3+):ZnO nanocrystals were synthesized by a modified solgel method. By means of the site-selective spectroscopy at 10 K, two kinds of luminescence sites of Eu(3+) are identified. One site exhibits a long lifetime of (5)D(0) and sharp emission and excitation peaks, which are ascribed to the inner lattice site with an ordered crystalline environment. The other site associated with the distorted lattice sites near the surface shows a relatively short lifetime of (5)D(0) and significantly broadened fluorescence lines. The energy transfer from the nanocrystal host to Eu(3+) confirms that Eu(3+) ions can, to some extent, be incorporated into the ZnO nanocrystal. 相似文献

A series of polyurethane (PU)/epoxy resin (EP) graft interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) composites modified by a high molecular weight hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (HTPDMS) were prepared. The effects of HTPDMS content on the phase structure, damping properties and the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the HTPDMS-modified PU/EP IPN composites were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) showed that the thermal decomposition temperature of the composites increased with the increase of HTPDMS content. The tensile strength and impact strength of the IPN composites were also significantly improved, especially when the HTPDMS content was 10%. The modified IPN composites were expected to be used as structural damping materials in the future. 相似文献

Non-uniformity correction is the key issue for the image quality improvement of infrared focal panel array (IRFPA) imaging. A non-uniformity correction (NUC) algorithm for IRFPA based on motion controllable micro-scanning platform and perimeter diaphragm strips is presented. We initially execute one-point calibration to the perimeter detectors, then based on controllable motion of adjacent frames, a special algebraic algorithm is proposed to transport the calibration of the perimeter detectors to those interior un-corrected ones. In this way, the bias parameter of the whole field of view (FOV) is calculated. The algorithm can be easily combined with sub-pixel imaging, thereby improving the quality of thermal imaging system (image spatial resolution and uniformity). All calculations are algebraic, with a low computation load. The algorithm can realize adaptive one point calibration without covering the central FOV rapidly. Experiments on simulated infrared data demonstrate that this algorithm requires only dozens of frames to obtain high quality corrections. 相似文献

The effect of magnetic field h on the magnetic properties of the one-dimensional spin-1 ferromagnetic Heisenberg model is studied by the double-time Green’s function method. The magnetization and susceptibility are obtained within the Callen approximation. The zero-field susceptibility is as a decreasing function of the temperature T. The magnetization m increases in the whole field region, but the susceptibility maximum χ(Tm) decreases. The position Tm of the susceptibility maximum is both solved analytically and fits well to be a power law Tm∼hγ at low fields and to be linear increasing at high fields. The height χ(Tm) decreases as a power law χ(Tm)∼h−β with h increasing. The exponents (γ,β) obtained in our results agree with the other theoretical results. Our results are roughly in agreement with the results obtained in the experiment of Ni(OH)(NO3)H2O. 相似文献

In this paper, purified single-walled carbon naotubes (SWCNTs) with three different diameters were synthesized using a floating catalytic chemical vapor deposition method with ethanol as carbon feedstock, ferrocene as catalyst, and thiophene as growth promoter. The thermal-oxidative stability of different-diameter SWCNTs was studied by using thermal analysis (TG, DTA), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis. The results indicate that small diameter SWCNTs (∼1 nm) are less stable and burn at lower temperature (610 °C), however, the larger diameter SWCNTs (∼5 nm) survive after burning at higher temperature (685 °C), the oxidation rate varies inversely with the tube diameter of SWCNTs, which may be concluded that the higher oxidation-resistant temperature of larger diameter SWCNTs can be attributed to the lower curvature-induced strain by rolling the planar graphene sheet for the larger diameter, so small tubes will become thermodynamically unstable. 相似文献
