Control over the integrative self-sorting of metallo-supramolecular assemblies opens up possibilities for introducing increased complexity and function into a single self-assembled architecture. Herein, the relationship between the geometry of three ligand components and morphology of three self-sorted heteroleptic [Pd2 L 2 L ′2]4+ cages is examined. Pd-mediated assembly of two bis-monodentate pyridyl ligands with native bite angles of 75° and 120° affords a cis-[Pd2 L 2 L ′2]4+ cage while the same reaction with two ligands with bite angles of 75° and 60° gives an unprecedented, self-penetrating structural motif; a trans-[Pd2(anti- L )2 L ′2]4+ heteroleptic cage with a “doubly bridged figure eight” topology. Each heteroleptic assembly can be formed by cage-to-cage conversion of the homoleptic precursors and morphological control of [Pd2 L 2 L ′2] cages is achieved by selective ligand displacement transformations in a system of three ligands and at least six possible cage products.  相似文献

The synthesis of topologically complex structures, such as links and knots, is one of the current challenges in supramolecular chemistry. The so‐called Solomon link consists of two doubly interlocked rings. Despite being a rather simple link from a topological point of view, only few molecular versions of this link have been described so far. Here, we report the quantitative synthesis of a giant molecular Solomon link from 30 subcomponents. The highly charged structure is formed by assembly of 12 cis‐blocked Pt2+ complexes, six Cu+ ions, and 12 rigid N‐donor ligands. Each of the two interlocked rings is composed of six repeating Pt(ligand) units, while the six Cu+ ions connect the two rings. With a molecular weight of nearly 12 kDa and a diameter of 44.2 Å, this complex is the largest non‐DNA‐based Solomon link described so far. Furthermore, it represents a molecular version of a “stick link”.  相似文献

A BODIPY‐based bis(3‐pyridyl) ligand undergoes self‐assembly upon coordination to tetravalent palladium(II) cations to form a Pd6L12 metallosupramolecular assembly with an unprecedented structural motif that resembles a rotaxane‐like cage‐in‐ring arrangement. In this assembly the ligand adopts two different conformations—a C‐shaped one to form a Pd2L4 cage which is located in the center of a Pd4L8 ring consisting of ligands in a W‐shaped conformation. This assembly is not mechanically interlocked in the sense of catenation but it is stabilized only by attractive π‐stacking between the peripheral BODIPY chromophores and the ligands’ skeleton as well as attractive van der Waals interactions between the long alkoxy chains. As a result, the co‐arrangement of the two components leads to a very efficient space filling. The overall structure can be described as a rotaxane‐like assembly with a metallosupramolecular cage forming the axle in a metallosupramolecular ring. This unique structural motif could be characterized via ESI mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, and X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

A variety of strained α‐alkylidene‐γ‐lactams were synthesized by palladium(0)‐catalyzed intramolecular C(sp3)?H alkenylation from easily accessible acyclic and monocyclic bromoalkene precursors. These lactams are valuable intermediates for accessing various classes of mono‐ and bicylic alkaloids containing a pyrrolidine ring, as illustrated with the synthesis of an advanced model of the marine natural product plakoridine A and of the indolizidine alkaloid δ‐coniceine.  相似文献

The three-membered silacyclic ring compounds LSi[N(2)(Ph)(2)]tBu (1), LSi[HCN(Ph)(2)]tBu (2) and LSi[C(2)(Ph)(2)]tBu (3) were obtained by the treatment of base stabilized monoalkylsilylenes LSitBu (L = PhC(NtBu)(2)) with PhN=NPh, PhN=CHPh and PhC≡CPh. The reaction of PhN=NPh and PhC≡CPh with LSitBu shows a different reactivity pattern with base stabilized monochlorosilylene LSiCl. The arrangement of the three-membered ring (SiNN) in 1 is the first structurally isolated example of a siladiaziridine compound.  相似文献

We discuss the weak amplitudes which determine the parity violating nuclear force. By use of the quark model and the SU(6)ω symmetry, we unite the treatment of pion and vector meson vertices, and describe the interrelation of past techniques which have been applied to this problem. This allows us to catalog the uncertainties in the amplitudes, and to provide reasonable bounds on their values. The connection of our results with experiment is also discussed.  相似文献
