The structure of 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (cyclam) complexes with nickel(II) and copper(II) ions in aqueous solution has been determined by the x-ray diffraction method at 25°C. The [Ni-(cyclam)]2+ complex has a square-planar structure with four nitrogen atoms of the cyclam, and the Ni-N bond length has been determined to be 198 pm. Upon the addition of ammonia, the color of the nickel(II)-cyclam solution turns to deep purple and the [Ni(NH3)2(cyclam)]2+ complex is formed. The complex has a regular octahedral structure with an additional two NH3 molecules along the axis vertical of the cyclam plane, and the Ni-N (NH3 and cyclam) bond lengths are 209 pm. The copper(II)-cyclam complex in the aqueous solution is a distorted octahedron with two water molecules along the elongated axis. The axial Cu—O and equatorial Cu—N bond lengths are 277 and 210 pm, respectively. 相似文献

In this study, we combined a column‐switching system with a fluorous scavenging derivatization method to develop a fully automated reagent peak‐free LC fluorescence detection protocol for the analysis of highly polar carboxylic acids. In this method, highly polar carboxylic acids were derivatized with fluorescent 1‐pyrenemethylamine in the presence of 1‐ethyl‐3‐(3‐dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide and 1‐hydroxy‐1H‐benzotriazole. Residual excess of the unreacted reagent was tagged with 2‐(perfluorooctyl)ethyl isocyanate and then removed selectively using a fluorous column‐switching system placed in front of an analytical reversed‐phase column. The signal of the fluorous‐tagged unreacted reagent was completely absent in the resulting chromatograms; therefore, it did not interfere with the quantification of each acid especially those eluted before 20 min. The detection limits (S/N = 3) for the examined acids were in the range from 4.0 to 22 fmol per injection. We have applied this method to comparative analysis of highly polar carboxylic acids in urine samples obtained from diabetes mellitus type‐II model mice and their control. 相似文献

Several kinds of cycloaddition reactions were applied to C3-ethynylated pyropheophorbide-a methyl ester to develop C3-functionalized chlorophyll derivatives. Its [2+2] cycloaddition with tetracyanoethylene, [2+3] cycloaddition with diazomethane, [2+3] Huisgen reaction with trimethylsilyl azide, and [2+4] Diels–Alder reaction with tetraphenylcyclopentadienone gave the expected products in moderate to high yields. Zinc complex of the resulting 3-pyrazolyl-chlorin was found to show self-aggregation in a less polar solvent, in an aqueous micelle, and in the solid thin films more readily than the corresponding zinc 3-triazolyl-chlorin. 相似文献

Remarkable magneto‐optical properties of a new isolator material, that is, europium sulfide nanocrystals with gold (EuS–Au nanosystem), has been demonstrated for a future photo‐information technology. Attachment of gold particles that exhibit surface plasmon resonance leads to amplification of the magneto‐optical properties of the EuS nanocrystals. To construct the EuS–Au nanosystems, cubic EuS and spherical Au nanocrystals have been joined by a variety of organic linkers, that is, 1,2‐ethanedithiol (EDT), 1,6‐hexanedithiol (HDT), 1,10‐decanedithiol (DDT), 1,4‐bisethanethionaphthalene (NpEDT), or 1,4‐bisdecanethionaphthalene (NpDDT) . Formation of these systems was observed by XRD, TEM, and absorption spectra measurements. The magneto‐optical properties of the EuS–Au nanosystem have been characterized by using Faraday rotation spectroscopy. The Faraday rotation angle of the EuS–Au nanosystem is dependent on the Au particle size and interparticle distance between EuS and Au nanocrystals. Enhancement of the Faraday rotation of EuS–Au nanosystems was observed. The spin configuration in the excited state of the EuS–Au nanosystem was also investigated using photo‐assisted electron paramagnetic resonance. 相似文献

The (132R)-methoxycarbonyl group of methyl pheophorbide a, one of the chlorophyll-a derivatives, was converted to a methyl group through methylation at the C132 position followed by removal of the methoxycarbonyl group. The methylation of the C132 carboanion gave a 4:1 mixture of methyl 132-methyl-pheophorbide a and its 132-epimer. The successive pyrolysis of the major methylated product afforded methyl (132R)-methyl-pyropheophorbide a with a small amount of its (132S)-epimer. The substitution effects at the C132 position including stereochemistry were discussed on the basis of 1D/2D NMR, UV–vis absorption, and circular dichroism spectroscopic analyses as well as molecular modeling simulation. 相似文献

Chlorophyll-a derivatives possessing an un/mono/disubstituted methylene moiety at the 131-position were prepared by (un)substituted methylation of the 13-carbonyl group and successive dehydration. Substitution of the 131-oxo to the methylene group slightly blue-shifted electronic absorption and emission bands in a solution and decreased chemical stability to give an oxidation product cleaved at the E-ring. Further mono/disubstitution at the methylene terminal increased wavelengths of absorption and emission maxima as well as oxidative tolerance. 相似文献

Bipolar electrode-based (BPE-based) electrochromic devices have garnered increasing attention in the past decade. These BPE-based electrochromic devices have been used for analytical health monitoring, point-of-care (POC) diagnostics, and chemical sensing. In this review, we highlight recent progress made regarding BPE-based electrochromic devices constructed for these analytical applications. Various, available electrochromic materials are summarized in the first section, after which the different device types (e. g., paper-based and self-powered) are discussed. Biological- and chemical-based analytical demonstrations of these devices are then reviewed. Finally, we conclude this review with a perspective on the future developments of BPE-based electrochromic devices in analytical applications. 相似文献

To introduce halogen‐bond interactions between a cation and an anion, a novel FeIII complex from iodine‐substituted ligands involving a paramagnetic nickel dithiolene anion was prepared and characterized. The compound exhibited the synergy between a spin‐crossover transition and a spin‐Peierls‐like singlet formation. The halogen‐bond interactions between the iodine and the sulfur atoms stabilized the paramagnetic state of π‐spins and played a crucial role in the synergistic magnetic transition between d‐ and π‐spins. The temperature‐induced stepwise neutral–ionic (N–I) phase transition in the covalently bonded donor–acceptor chain compound [Ru2(2,3,5,6‐F4PhCO2)4DMDCNQI] ? 2(p‐xylene) (2,3,5,6‐F4PhCO2?=2,3,5,6‐tetrafluorobenzoate; DMDCNQI=2,5‐dimethyl‐N,N′‐dicyanoquinodiimine) was systematically tuned over a wide temperature range using two techniques: 1) A chemical technique based on doping with a less‐active donor unit [Ru2II,II(F5PhCO2)4] (F5PhCO2?=pentafluorobenzoate), thereby providing an isostructural doped series [{Ru2II,II(2,3,5,6‐F4PhCO2)4}1?x{Ru2II,II(F5PhCO2)4}xDMDCNQI] ? 2(p‐xylene), with x=0.06, 0.10, 0.21, and 0.24; and 2) a physical technique, which was the application of hydrostatic pressure to the doped compounds. The stepwise N–I transition observed in the original compound was systematically varied in terms of the viewpoints of both transition temperature and transition features (stepwise or monotonic) dependent on the amount of dopants x. Application of pressure efficiently tuned the N–I transitions, with the oxidation phases being dramatically modified by applying only weak pressure up to 4 kbar. Even in cases that led to N–I transitions in small domains of the chains at ambient pressure, the application of pressure caused an expansion of the domains that enabled N–I transitions, finally leading to a complete change in the oxidation state of the chains, from neutral to ionic, accompanied by a change from a paramagnetic state to a ferrimagnetically ordered state. 相似文献
