The Fraunhofer diffraction pattern of an aperture formed between a knife edge and a smooth surface of a turned metal cylinder or half cylinder is different from the diffraction pattern of an ideal slit aperture. The diffraction pattern is simulated by adding the light reflected by the cylinder surface to the pattern formed by a slit, and is measured using a cylinder that has been partly cut away so that it can represent either a full or half cylinder. The theoretical and measured patterns agree well with each other.  相似文献

Electrical resistivities of arc-melted uranium carbides, UC, UC2, U2C3 and UC + UC2, were measured over the temperature range between 4 and 1900 K. The monocarbide, dicarbide and the mixture of carbides showed metallic character in their resistivity dependence on temperature above 30 K, while below this the resistivities were constant. U2C3 showed a knee in the resistivity curve at 54.0 K corresponding to a magnetic transition. Above 1100 K, the resistivity of U2C3 did not vary with temperature. The resistivity of the mixture (UC + UC2 with U2C3 precipitates) showed an arrest between 800 and 950 K.  相似文献

We have observed high resolution 13C NMR spectra in k-intercalated stages 2, 3, 4 and 6 HOPG compounds. The sample was a block itself or sliced one of HOPG. From T1T of each resolved line we obtained a distribution of density of states N(EF) at the Fermi level among the graphite layers.  相似文献

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is used to probe oxidation states of Si species in particles deposited using a pulsed ion-beam evaporation method. The effects of He ambient gas, ion beam intensity and post-treatments on the oxides composition and oxygen content have been studied. It is found that presence of He ambient gas led to a profound oxidation of Si species as compared to that prepared in vacuum at the same ion-beam ablation energy, i.e. both increase of SiO2 component and oxygen concentration in the oxides coverage. The deposition in He also resulted in an increase of oxygen concentration even under lower ablation intensity, but a higher Si suboxides concentration. It is revealed that the reaction between Si and O was controlled by the ion beam intensity (temperature of Si plasma) and the gas ambient (collision probability of Si and O species). The difference in structure of oxide layers for samples obtained under various conditions is discussed based on the results of XPS analyses.  相似文献

Q β values of the neutron-rich isotopes of 160-165Eu and 163Gd were measured for the first time using a total absorption bismuth germanate (BGO) detector, and previously obtained data on 158, 159Pm , 159, 161Sm and 166Tb were re-analyzed. These radioactive sources were prepared by an on-line mass separator (Tokai-ISOL) following the 238U (p,f reaction. The deduced Q β values are the following: 6085(80)keV for 158Pm , 3805(65)keV for 159Sm , 5460(140)keV for 159Pm , 4705(60)keV for 160Eu , 5065(130)keV for 161Sm , 3705(60)keV for 161Eu , 5575(60)keV for 162Eu , 4690(70)keV for 163Eu , 3170(70)keV for 163Gd , 6430(70)keV for 164Eu , 5800(120)keV for 165Eu , and 4695(70)keV for 166Tb . Moreover, the deduced mass excesses and two-neutron separation energies ( S 2n values) were compared with those of the atomic mass evaluations and theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Ultrafine MgAl2O4 powder has been synthesized by a polymerized complex method. Heating of a precursor solution containing citric acid (CA), ethylene glycol (EG) and Mg and Al salts with a molar ratio of Mg/Al/CA/EG=1/2/8/32 at 180°C produced a transparent polymeric gel, which have been characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and TG/DTA. The organic fraction was removed by controlled thermal treatments (350–1200°C) whereby the bimetallic oxide was formed. XRD analysis showed the presence of MgAl2O4 at 600°C. TEM observation showed that the spherical nanosized powders with good uniformity was obtained. Furthermore, these powders showed excellent sinterability, relative density up to 99.8% was achieved when sintered at 1550°C for 3 h in air without any sintering additive.  相似文献

We developed a system to measure disk noise as a function of both radial and angular position. In order to obtain an accurate disk noise measurement, crosstalk and intersymbol interference were avoided by recording regularly repeating pit patterns and the influence of electronic and laser noise was removed by averaging techniques. We found the system’s mapping ability and its high sensitivity to be very useful in investigating disk noise phenomena in the mastering process. We used the system to assess the accuracy and reproducibility of the photopolymerization replication and Al vapor deposition processes. Also, we investigated the choice of photoresist and found that photoresists with the combination of the narrowest molecular weight distribution and the highest photo-active compound content resulted in the lowest disk noise levels. Our system can, in principle, be adapted to evaluate magneto-optical and phase change disks.  相似文献

Based on genome-mining, a new thiopeptide globimycin was discovered from the extract of Streptomyces globisporus subsp. globisporus, along with known one radamycin. The structure of globimycin was established by a combination of 2D NMR and ESI-MS experiments, and globimycin was identified to be a structural isomer of a known thiopeptide methylsulfomycin. The proposed biosynthetic gene cluster for globimycin and radamycin was found in the genome of S. globisporus subsp. globisporus.  相似文献
