We describe the first example of scandium dimetallofullerenes, Sc(2)@C(3v)(8)-C(82), which has the same cage as the previously assigned scandium carbide cluster fullerene Sc(2)C(2)@C(3v)(8)-C(82) but they exhibit distinctly different electronic configurations and electronic behaviours, confirming the drastic influence of the internal C(2) unit.  相似文献

Glycosylation of vanilloids such as vanillin and 8-nordihydrocapsaicin by cultured plant cells of Eucalyptus perriniana was studied. Vanillin was converted into vanillin 4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, vanillyl alcohol, and 4-O-β-D-glucopyranosylvanillyl alcohol by E. perriniana cells. Incubation of cultured E. perriniana cells with 8-nordihydrocapsaicin gave 8-nordihydrocapsaicin 4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and 8-nordihydrocapsaicin 4-O-β-D-gentiobioside.  相似文献

A new type of Pt-complex-bound amino acid was synthesized by condensation of a cyclometalated Pt complex with the side-chain residue of N- and C-alkylated glutamic acid. Self-assembly of the Pt-bound lipophilic amino acid afforded a supramolecular gel in organic solvents, which comprised fibrous lamellar aggregates that supported a highly oriented Pt array.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: Identification of the target proteins of bioactive compounds is critical for elucidating the mode of action; however, target identification has been difficult in general, mostly due to the low sensitivity of detection using affinity chromatography followed by CBB staining and MS/MS analysis. RESULTS: We applied our protocol of predicting target proteins combining in silico screening and experimental verification for incednine, which inhibits the anti-apoptotic function of Bcl-xL by an unknown mechanism. One hundred eighty-two target protein candidates were computationally predicted to bind to incednine by the statistical prediction method, and the predictions were verified by in vitro binding of incednine to seven proteins, whose expression can be confirmed in our cell system. As a result, 40% accuracy of the computational predictions was achieved successfully, and we newly found 3 incednine-binding proteins. CONCLUSIONS: This study revealed that our proposed protocol of predicting target protein combining in silico screening and experimental verification is useful, and provides new insight into a strategy for identifying target proteins of small molecules.  相似文献

Amphiphilic 2,6-pyridylene ethynylene "meta-ethynylpyridine" polymers having chiral oligo(oxyethylene) side chains were developed as hosts for saccharide recognition. The polymers were prepared via a Sonogashira reaction and fractionated by gel permeation chromatography (GPC). They showed circular dichroism (CD) activity due to their higher-order chiral helical structures, and their CD and UV-vis spectra changed depending on not only saccharide recognition but also molecular size, temperature, and metal cation recognition.  相似文献

The dissociative excitation reaction of C2H2 with the electron-cyclotron resonance plasma of Ar was investigated based on the electrostatic-probe measurements and on the optical emission spectroscopy of the CH(A2Δ–X2Π) transition. The density, n e, and the temperature, T e, of free electrons were controlled by adding H2O molecules externally into the reaction region, and the dependence of the CH(A2Δ–X2Π) emission intensity on the addition of H2O was observed to compare with the evaluated dependencies based on n e and T e. The mechanism of production of CH(A2Δ) was found, predominantly, to be the electron impact with the contribution of 10–20% of the electron-impact dissociation of C2H radicals; the contribution of the ion–electron recombination was negligible. Hydrogenated amorphous carbon films were fabricated using the same reaction system. The atomic compositions, Raman spectra, and the hardness of films were discussed in terms of the variations of n e and T e upon the addition of H2O molecules.  相似文献

Two kinds of fluoroalkyl end-capped vinyltrimethoxysilane oligomer [RF-(VM) n -RF] silica nanocomposites containing biphenylene units were prepared by the sol-gel reactions of the corresponding oligomer with biphenylene-bridged ethoxysilanes or 4,4′-biphenol under alkaline conditions, respectively. One is the fluorinated oligomer/silica nanocomposites containing biphenylene units [RF-(VM-SiO2) n –RF/Ar-SiO 2 ], of whose biphenylene units were incorporated into nanocomposite cores through the siloxane bondings, and the other is the fluorinated oligomer/silica nanocomposites containing biphenylene units [RF-(VM-SiO2) n –RF/Biphenol], of whose biphenylene units were directly encapsulated into nanocomposite cores through the sol–gel process. Interestingly, the shape of RF-(VM-SiO2) n –RF/Ar-SiO 2 nanocomposites is morphologically controlled cubic particles; although the shape of RF-(VM-SiO2) n –RF/Biphenol nanocomposites is spherically fine particles. Thermogravimetric analyses 2H magic-angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance, Ultraviolet visible, and fluorescent spectra showed that biphenylene units in RF-(VM-SiO2) n –RF/Ar-SiO 2 nanocomposites have a flammable characteristic after calcinations at 800 °C; in contrast, biphenylene units in RF-(VM-SiO2) n –RF/Biphenol nanocomposites have a nonflammable characteristic even after calcination at 800 °C. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses of these two kinds of fluorinated nanocomposites showed that nonflammable characteristic toward biphenylene units in the silica gel matrices is due to the formation of ammonium hexafluorosilicate during the sol–gel process.  相似文献
