AbstractN,N-Dimethyl-, diethyl-, and dipropylacrylamides were polymerized with 1,1-bis(4′-trimethylsilylphenyl)-3-methylpentyllithium (I) in the presence and absence of diethylzinc in THF. Although the polymers produced with I in the absence of diethylzinc have rather broad molecular weight distributions, the addition of diethylzinc to the polymerization systems causes narrow molecular weight distributions of the polymers. The addition of diethylzinc also affect the stereospecificities of the polymers obtained. The poly(N,N-diethylacrylamide) produced with I/diethylzinc (molar ratio of 1/3-15) is highly syndiotactic, while the one obtained with I is isotactic. The configuration of the poly(N,N-dimethylacrylamide) is changed from isotactic to syndio and heterotactic rich by the addition of diethylzinc to the polymerization mixture. Little effect of diethylzinc is observed on the stereospecificity of the polymerization of N,N-dipropylacrylamide. The stoichiometric additive effect of Et2Zn toward the initiator in the polymerization of DEAA suggests that the coordination of Et2Zn aggregates with the propagating carbanionic species narrows the molecular weight distribution and controls the tacticity of the polymer. 相似文献
The acceleration effect of poly(ethylene oxide) on nucleophilic reactions was investigated. The enhancement of the reaction rate was interpreted by the cooperative solvation of alkali metal ions with ethereal oxygens of PEO resulting in active nucleophilic anions. In relation to the complex formation of alkali metal ions with PEO, the oligo(ethylene oxide) derivatives were prepared as the synthetic ionophores, which were able to transport alkali metal ions selectively through a liquid membrane against the alkali metal ion concentration. 相似文献
Abstract In order to elucidate the initiation reaction of the photopolymerization with iron(III)-amine-carbon tetrachloride systems, the photochemical reaction process among iron(III), amine, and carbon tetrachloride in methanol solution was followed at 0°C by UV spectroscopy as for iron(III) ion. The rate constants of both the reduction of iron (III) under irradiation with light and the oxidation of iron(II) in the dark were measured, and were related to the rates of photopolymerization of methyl methacrylate. Kinetic study on the photopolymerization of methyl methacrylate with iron(III)-triethylenetetramine-carbon tetrachloride system was made in parallel in methanol solution at 0°C. The initiation mechanism of the photopolymerization was postulated. 相似文献
Syntheses of cyclic oligomer and polymer were attempted with magnesiacyclohexane as the initiator in HMPA. The oligomer of α-methylstyrene, initiated by magnesiacyclohexane, was treated with dimethyldichlorosilane in order to obtain a stable cyclic oligomer. The products were investigated by GPC, IR, NMR, and elemental analysis. It was found that magnesia-cyclohexane could not be activated enough by HMPA, and that the magnesium-carbon bond was not stable in HMPA, and that the chain transfer reaction might occur repeatedly during the polymerization. Consequently, the yield of cyclic oligomer was so low that cyclic compounds could not be discriminated from the linear oligomer. 相似文献
As a fundamental study on the development of dismantlable adhesives containing chemically reactive materials, the thermal behavior and dismantlability of an epoxy adhesive containing one of the twenty-seven inorganic salts (chlorides, perchlorates, and nitrates) were observed. In the thermal behavior measured by the differential scanning calorimetry, epoxy adhesives with inorganic salts containing iron, copper, zinc, and aluminum cations released heats of reaction at lower temperatures than the adhesive alone or the adhesives with other inorganic salts. Since such inorganic salts were considered to be effective candidates as fillers in dismantlable adhesives, the adhesion strengths of their mixtures with the adhesive were observed after heat aging at 270 °C for 30 min. The results showed that both chloride and perchlorate salts specifically decreased the adhesion strength after heating. On the other hand, the effect of nitrate salts on the decrease in adhesion strength was low in comparison with the chloride and perchlorate salts. 相似文献
We studied the stepwise formation constants (β) of water-soluble diglycolamide (DGA) and dioxaoctanediamide (DOODA) for the mutual separation of Ln in a solvent extraction system. TODGA (N,N,N?,N?-tetraoctyl-diglycolamide) and DOODA(C8) (N,N,N?,N?-tetraoctyl-dioxaoctanediamide) exhibit opposite behaviors in extracting both light and heavy Ln through Ln-patterns. Metal complexes of two- and three-folding with water-soluble DOODA and DGA, respectively, were found, and each β value was calculated using distribution ratios. Taking β, their distribution ratio, D, and separation factor, SF, values into consideration, the suitable separation conditions (aqueous phase: 30 mM DOODA(C2) in 1 M HNO3; organic phase: 0.1 M TODGA in n-dodecane) of multistage extraction (10?×?10 extraction using aqueous and organic phases, including one sample solution) were determined. In this study, La, Pr, and Nd were mainly present in the aqueous phase, whereas Sm–Dy existed in the organic phase. Although these two groups can be easily separated into two phases, the resolution, Rs, values provide for little mutual separation between La–Nd and Sm–Dy under the present conditions.

A certified reference material (CRM) for the determination of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) has been issued as NMIJ CRM 4056-a by the National Metrology Institute of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (NMIJ/AIST). Purity (kg kg?1) based on a titration method was determined by subtracting the mass fractions of impurities measured using liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) from those of acids expressed as PFOA measured by a neutralization potentiometric titration. To validate an obtained result, purity based on a mass balance method was determined by subtracting the mass fractions of impurities, measured using LC/MS, Karl-Fischer titration (KFT), and vacuum evaporation, from 1 kg kg?1. Results from both titration and mass balance methods were in agreement within the accepted limits of uncertainty. The certified purity of NMIJ CRM 4056-a was determined to be 0.959 kg kg?1, calculated as the mean of the results obtained with the two methods. The standard uncertainty of the certified purity was evaluated from purity evaluations as well as from sample homogeneity and stability obtained from LC/MS and KFT analyses. Consequently, the expanded uncertainty was estimated to be 0.005 kg kg?1 with a coverage factor of k = 2. 相似文献
Single-ligand-based electronically conductive porous coordination polymers/metal–organic frameworks (EC-PCPs/MOFs) fail to meet the requirements of numerous electronic applications owing to their limited tunability in terms of both conductivity and topology. In this study, a new 2D π-conjugated EC-MOF containing copper units with mixed trigonal ligands was developed: Cu3(HHTP)(THQ) (HHTP=2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahydrotriphenylene, THQ=tetrahydroxy-1,4-quinone). The modulated conductivity (σ≈2.53×10−5 S cm−1 with an activation energy of 0.30 eV) and high porosity (ca. 441.2 m2 g−1) of the Cu3(HHTP)(THQ) semiconductive nanowires provided an appropriate resistance baseline and highly accessible areas for the development of an excellent chemiresistive gas sensor. 相似文献
