A simple synthesis has been devised for the tripodal 3,3,4-tetraamine ligand N{(CH2)3NH2}2{(CH2)4NH2} (L). This ligand forms
a copper(II) complex, [Cu (LH)Cl2]ClO4 (7), the structure of which has been determined by X-ray diffraction. The cation contains
a five-coordinate copper atom, bonded to two chloride ions, the two propylamine groups and the tertiary nitrogen atom of the
ligand; the arrangement is a distorted trigonal bipyramid, in which the two primary amine groups occupy the axial positions.
The butylamine group of the ligand does not coordinate to copper but is protonated. It is involved in hydrogen bonding to
the perchlorate ion. The e.p.r. spectrum of [Cu(dpt)Cl2] is very similar to that of (7), suggesting that it also has a trigonal
bipyramidal structure.

The oil palm sector is one of the major plantation industries in Malaysia. Palm kernel cake is a byproduct of extracted palm
kernel oil. Mostly palm kernel cake is wasted or is mixed with other nutrients and used as animal feed, especially for ruminant
animals. Recently, palm kernel cake has been identified as an important ingredient for the formulation of animal feed, and
it is also exported especially to Europe, South Korea, and Japan. It can barely be consumed by nonruminant (monogastric) animals
owing to the high percentages of hemicellulose and cellulose contents. Palm kernel cake must undergo suitable pretreatment
in order to decrease the percentage of hemicellulose and cellulose. One of the methods employed in this study is fermentation
with microorganisms, particularly fungi, to partially degrade the hemicellulose and cellulose content. This work focused on
the production of enzymes by Aspergillus niger and profiling using palm kernel cake as carbon source. 相似文献

This paper reports findings of an investigation of the synthesis of monolayer-capped binary gold-silver (AuAg) bimetallic nanoparticles that is aimed at understanding the control factors governing the formation of the bimetallic compositions. The synthesis of alkanethiolate-capped AuAg nanoparticles was carried out using two related synthetic protocols using aqueous sodium borohydride as a reducing agent. One involves a two-phase reduction of AuCl(4)(-), which is dissolved in organic solution, and Ag(+), which is dissolved in aqueous solution. The other protocol involves a two-phase reduction of AuCl(4)(-) and AgBr(2)(-), both of which are dissolved in the same organic solution. AuAg nanoparticles of 2-3 nm core sizes with different compositions in the range of 0-100% Au have been synthesized. The two synthetic routes were compared in terms of bimetallic composition and size properties. Our new findings have allowed us to establish the correlation between synthetic feeding of metals and metal compositions in the bimetallic nanoparticles, which have important implications to the exploration of gold-based bimetallic nanoparticles for constructing sensing and catalytic nanomaterials. 相似文献

We apply the time-dependent theory to the collinear exchange reaction F + CH4 → FCH3 + H. We have performed detailed calculations on two-dimensional potential surfaces representing the ground electronic potentials of the collinear F + CH4 → FCH3 + H reaction, at incident energies. In the present work, the asymmetric nature of water coexistence curve has been studied by investigating a new scaled crossover parametric equation of state. To do so, the concept of complete scaling [Fisher and Orkoulas, Phys Rev Lett 696, 85 (2000)] has been applied and the critical amplitudes near and far from the critical point have been derived. Also two mixing parameters $ a_{3} $ and $ b_{2} $ in the definition of scaling fields in terms of physical fields have been obtained for water. We have shown that mixing of the complete scaling theory and parametric equation of state can explain this nature quite carefully. 相似文献

Hepatitis C is a global health problem. While many drug companies have active R&D efforts to develop new drugs for treating Hepatitis C virus (HCV), most target the viral enzymes. The HCV glycoprotein E2 has been shown to play an essential role in hepatocyte invasion by binding to CD81 and other cell surface receptors. This paper describes the use of AutoDock to identify ligand binding sites on the large extracellular loop of the open conformation of CD81 and to perform virtual screening runs to identify sets of small molecule ligands predicted to bind to two of these sites. The best sites selected by AutoLigand were located in regions identified by mutational studies to be the site of E2 binding. Thirty-six ligands predicted by AutoDock to bind to these sites were subsequently tested experimentally to determine if they bound to CD81-LEL. Binding assays conducted using surface Plasmon resonance revealed that 26 out of 36 (72 %) of the ligands bound in vitro to the recombinant CD81-LEL protein. Competition experiments performed using dual polarization interferometry showed that one of the ligands predicted to bind to the large cleft between the C and D helices was also effective in blocking E2 binding to CD81-LEL. 相似文献

Abstract Some new derivatives containing both 8-hydroxyquinoline and sulphonylamino β-lactams and thiazolidinones have been prepared. These compounds were synthesized from the corresponding 8-hydroxyquinoline sulphonylhydrazide (1) by converting it to hydrazones (2). The latter hydrazones (2) were easily transformed to β-lactams (3) and thiazolidinones (4) by cyclocondensation reaction with chloroacetyl chloride and/or mercaptoacetic acid. Some metal chelates with Fe3+. Co2++, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Cd2+ have been prepared for some of the compounds and screened in vitro for their biological activity. 相似文献

A novel and simple method for the chemoselective deprotection of S,S- and S,O-acetals and ketals in the presence of their O,O-analogs with electrophilic halogens to their corresponding carbonyl compounds is described using N-bromosuccinimide, N-chlorosuccinimide, 2,4,4,6-tetrabromo-2,5-cyclohexen-1-one, trichlorocyanuric acid, or molecular bromine in aqueous acetonitrile. The use of these reagents in the presence of hydrated silica gel provide efficient, novel, and mild procedures for the deprotection of cyclic and acyclic O,O-, S,S-, and S,O-acetals and ketals in excellent yields in short reaction times. 相似文献
