The interaction of an η-meson with two nucleons is studied within a three-body approach. The major features of the ηNN-system in the low-energy region are accounted for by using a s-wave separable ansatz for the two-body ηN and NN amplitudes. The calculation is confined to the (J π;T) = (0-;1) and (1-;0) configurations which are assumed to be the most promising candidates for virtual or resonant ηNN-states. The eigenvalue three-body equation is continued analytically into the nonphysical sheets by contour deformation. The position of the poles of the three-body scattering matrix as a function of the ηN-interaction strength is investigated. The corresponding trajectory, starting on the physical sheet, moves around the ηNN three-body threshold and continues away from the physical area giving rise to virtual ηNN-states. The search for poles on the nonphysical sheets adjacent directly to the upper rim of the real energy axis gives a negative result. Thus no low-lying s-wave ηNN-resonances were found. Coherent pion electroproduction on the deuteron is studied in the ((1232) resonance region in the impulse approximation, i.e., neglecting pion rescattering and two-body effects. The elementary reaction on the nucleon is described in the framework of an effective Lagrangian approach including the dominant P33(1232) resonance and the usual background terms of the Born contributions for ?0 production. We have studied the influence of these different contributions on the various structure functions which determine the unpolarized exclusive differential cross section in a variety of kinematic regions.  相似文献

The influence of Coulomb distortion on the polarization transfer in elastic proton and antiproton electron scattering at low energies is calculated in a distorted-wave Born approximation. For antiproton electron scattering Coulomb effects reduce substantially the polarization transfer cross-section compared to the plane-wave Born approximation, whereas for proton electron scattering they lead to a dramatic increase for kinetic proton lab energies below about 20keV.  相似文献

The contribution of incoherent single-pion photoproduction to the spin response of the deuteron, i.e., the asymmetry of the total photoabsorption cross-section with respect to parallel and antiparallel spins of photon and deuteron, is calculated over the region of the -resonance with inclusion of final-state NN and rescattering. Sizeable effects, mainly from NN rescattering, are found leading to an appreciable reduction of the spin asymmetry. Furthermore, the contribution to the Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn integral is explicitly evaluated by integration up to a photon energy of 550 MeV. The deuteron structure functions for elastic electron scattering and the deuteron static properties have been calculated with the inclusion of isobar admixtures to the deuteron wave function and meson exchange currents. At higher momentum transfers the structure functions are increased significantly because of the strong enhancement of the deuteron magnetic dipole form factor. Roughly 15–35% of this enhancement depending on the momentum transfer arise from the meson exchange currents.  相似文献

An explicit evaluation of the spin asymmetry of the deuteron and the associated Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn sum rule is presented which includes photodisintegration, and single and double pion and eta production as well. Photodisintegration is treated with a realistic retarded potential and a corresponding meson exchange current. For single pion and eta production the elementary operator from MAID is employed, whereas for double pion production, an effective Lagrangian approach is used. A large cancellation between the disintegration and the meson production channels yields for the explicit GDH integral a value of 27.31 microb to be compared to the sum rule value 0.65 microb.  相似文献

A model is developed for the hadronic interaction in the two-nucleon system above pion threshold which is based on meson, nucleon and Δ degrees of freedom and which includes full meson retardation in the exchange operators. For technical reasons, the model allows maximal one meson to be present explicitly. Thus the Hilbert space contains besides NN and NΔ also configurations consisting of two nucleons and one meson. For this reason, only two- and three-body unitarity is obeyed, and the model is suited for reactions in the two-nucleon sector, where only one pion is produced or absorbed. Starting from a realistic pure nucleonic retarded potential, which had to be renormalized because of the additional π and Δ degrees of freedom, a reasonable fit to experimental NN-scattering data could be achieved.  相似文献
