Epoxidation of vitamin D3 with benzonitrile ¦H2O2¦ KHCO3 (Payne's reagent) yields exclusively the 5,6-mono-oxirane2. Further epoxidation with the same reagent gives the 5,6-7,8-bisepoxide3 a. Its stereochemistry and therefore the stereochemistry of2 was established by single crystal X-ray analysis of thep-Brbenzoate3b. Thereby for the first time a directive effect of a homoallylic hydroxyl group during thePayne-epoxidation was established.

The reactivity of aryl triflates in on-surface C−C coupling is reported. It is shown that the triflate group in aryl triflates enables regioselective homo coupling with preceding or concomitant hydrodetriflation on Cu(111). Three different symmetrical π-systems with two and three triflate functionalities were used as monomers leading to oligomeric conjugated π-systems. The cascade, comprising different intermediates at different reaction temperatures as observed for one of the molecules, proceeds via initial removal of the trifluoromethyl sulfonyl group to give an aryloxy radical which in turn is deoxygenated to the corresponding aryl radical. Thermodynamically driven regioselective 1,2-hydrogen atom transfer leads to a translocated aryl radical which in turn undergoes coupling. For a sterically more hindered bistriflate, where one ortho position was blocked, dehydrogenative coupling occurred at remote position with good regioselectivity. Starting materials, intermediates as well as products were analyzed by scanning tunneling microscopy. Structures and suggested mechanism were further supported by DFT calculations.  相似文献

Peptide-based molecular probes identified by bacteriophage (phage) display technology expand the peptide repertoire for in vivo diagnosis and therapy of cancer. Numerous peptides that bind cancer-associated antigens have been discovered by panning phage libraries. However, until now only few of the peptides selected by phage display have entered clinical applications. The success of phage derived peptides essentially depends on the quality of the library screened. This review summarizes the methods to achieve highly homogenous libraries that cover a maximal sequence space. Biochemical and chemical strategies for the synthesis of DNA libraries and the techniques for their integration into the viral genome are discussed in detail. A focus is set on the methods that enable the exclusion of disturbing sequences. In addition, the parameters that define the variability, the minimal numbers of copies per library and the use of alternating panning cycles to avoid the loss of selected hits are evaluated.  相似文献

Presenting a condensation of the opening lecture of the 12th ICFIA conference, this communication presents a view of the impact that flow injection analysis (FIA) has had on modern analytical chemistry, evaluated both within the academic community and outside it, i.e. in “industry”. The ensuing developments of FIA, encompassing sequential injection analysis (SIA) and bead injection lab-on-valve (BI-LOV), are described and their individual features discussed. Oxymethylene dimethyl ethers (OMEn; CH3(‐OCH2‐)nO‐CH3, n=3–5) are a novel class of sustainable synthetic fuels, which are of increasing interest due to their soot‐free combustion. Herein a novel anhydrous OMEn synthesis route is presented. Catalyzed by trimethyloxonium salts, dimethoxymethane takes up monomeric gaseous formaldehyde instantaneously and forms high purity OMEn at temperatures of 25–30 °C. This new anhydrous approach using molecular formaldehyde and catalytic amounts of highly active trimethyloxonium salts represents a promising new step towards a sustainable formation of OMEn emanating from CO2 and H2.  相似文献

This paper deals with the separation of alkanes, naphthenes, and aromatic compounds in naphtha and reformate, on a newly developed apolar high resolution GC column. The selectivity of this apolar phase has been compared with those of squalane, DB-1, and SE-30. A total of 95 hydrocarbons were reliably identified, mostly by GC-MS. Repeated measurements of Kováts retention indices are presented as evidence for the reproducible manufacture of fused silica columns coated with this phase.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure Determination of Dimethyldi-(N-Methylimidazolium)silicon Bromide The reaction of dibromodimethylsilane with n-methylimidazole (NMI) leads to a 1:2 compound stable at room temperature. The reaction was carried out at room temperature and colorless, moisture sensitive crystals were obtained by sublimation. The addition compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pcam (No. 57) with lattice constants a = 1 110 96(8) pm, b = 1 142.3(2) pm and c = 1 238.9(3) pm. For 1 317 independent reflections, measured at 21°C, the structure could be refined to R = 0.040 and Rw = 0.041.  相似文献

The First Polyiodo Complex – Triethylsulfoniumtriiodomercurate(II)-tris(diiodine), (Et3S)[Hg2I6]1/2 · 3 I2 After Raman spectroscopic investigation of the system HgI2/Et3SIx, x = 3, 5, 7, triethylsulfoniumtriiodomercuratetris(diiodine), (Et3S)[Hg2I6]1/2 · 3 I2 was synthesized by reacting of HgI2 and liquid Et3SI7. The compound crystallizes at room temperature triclinically in the space group P1 with a = 879.4(7), b = 1 209.1(5), c = 1 291.5(5) pm, α = 96.16(3)°, β = 103.82(6)°, γ = 99.05(5)° and Z = 2. The crystal structure is composed of disordered Et3S+ cations, the centrosymmetric complex anion [HgI2/2I2]22? and three connecting iodine molecules I2.  相似文献

Functionalized Alkyne Complexes of Tungsten(VI). Syntheses and Crystal Structures of [WCl4(Et? Se? C?C? Se? Et)(THF)] and [WCl4(Et? Te? C?C? Te? Et)(THF)] The title compounds have been prepared by reactions of [WCl4(SEt2)2] with the alkynes Et? X? C?C? X? Et (X = Se, Te) in CCl4 solution and subsequent addition of tetrahydrofurane. Both complexes were characterized by crystal structure determinations. [WCl4(Et? Se? C?C? Se? Et)(THF)]: Space group P21/n, Z = 4, structure determination with 2942 unique reflections, R = 0.038. Lattice dimensions at 20°C: a = 934.2, b = 1639.5, c = 1189.5 pm, β = 96.497°. [WCl4(Et? Te? C?C? Te? Et)(THF)]: Space group P21/n, Z = 4, structure determination with 4097 unique reflections, R = 0.067, Lattice dimensions at ?70°C: a = 899.2, b = 1691.9, c = 1213.3 pm, β = 96.82°. The complexes have monomeric molecular structures with the oxygen atom of the THF molecules in trans-position to the side-on bound alkyne ligands.  相似文献

Formation of cyclic Amidiniumiodides and -polyiodides from 1,3,5-Trimethyl-hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine and Iodine The reaction of 1,3,5-trimethyl-hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine (CH3NCH2)3 with iodine in the molar ratio (CH3NCH2)3:I2 = 2:1 gives the new compound 1,3,5-trimethyl-tetrahydro-1,3,5-triazinium-iodide C6H14N3I. This iodide adds one mole I2 and forms 1,3,5-trimethyl-tetrahydro-1,3,5-triazinium-triiodide C6H14N3I3. The crystal structure analysis shows a cation, in which two methyl groups and five ring atoms are planar arranged. The third methyl group stands axial to the ring. 1,3,5-Trimethyl-tetrahydro-1,3,5-triazinium-pentaiodide is formed by adding a further mole I2.  相似文献
