Purpose

The objective of this paper was to investigate the value of apparent diffusion coefficients (ADCs) for differential diagnosis among solid pancreatic masses using respiratory triggered diffusion-weighted MR imaging with inversion-recovery fat-suppression technique (RT-IR-DWI) at 3.0 T.

Materials and Methods

20 normal volunteers and 72 patients (Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma [PDCA, n = 30], mass-forming pancreatitis [MFP, n = 15], solid pseudopapillary neoplasm [SPN, n = 12], and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor[PNET, n = 15]) underwent RT-IR-DWI (b values: 0 and 600 s/mm2) at 3.0 T. Results were correlated with histopathologic data and follow-up imaging. ADC values among different types of pancreatic tissue were statistically analyzed and compared.

Results

Statistical difference was noticed in ADC values among normal pancreas, MFP, PDCA, SPN and PNET by ANOVA (p < .001). Normal pancreas had the highest ADC value, then followed by PNET, PDCA, MFP and SPN. There was noticeable statistical difference in ADC values among PDCA, MFP and normal pancreas by Least Significant Difference (LSD) (p < .001). ADC of SPN was statistically lower than that of PNET (p = 0.1800 × 10− 4), PDCA (p = 0.0300 × 10− 4) and normal pancreas (p = 0.0007 × 10− 4). ADC of PNET was statistically lower than that of normal pancreas (p = 0.0360) and higher than that of MFP (p = 9.3000 × 10− 4).

Conclusions

ADC measurements using RT-IR-DWI at 3.0 T may aid to disclose the histopathological pattern of normal pancreas and solid pancreatic masses, which may be helpful in characterizing solid pancreatic lesions.  相似文献

本文通过在前驱液中添加过量钇盐和铈的有机盐,采用三氟乙酸盐-金属有机沉积法(TFA-MOD) 在铝酸镧单晶基体上制备了含有纳米氧化钇和纳米铈酸钡的YBCO薄膜. 与纯YBCO薄膜相比,掺杂Y2O3/BaCeO3的YBCO膜的临界转变温度几乎保持不变,为91 K左右. 而掺杂Y2O3/BaCeO3的YBCO膜的临界电流密度达到5.0 MA/cm2 (77 K, 0T), 是纯YBCO膜临界电流密度的1.5倍.薄膜中的Y2O3和BaCeO3可能在YBCO内部起到了 有效的钉扎磁通作用. 关键词: 钇钡铜氧薄膜 2O3和纳米BaCeO3')" href="#">纳米Y2O3和纳米BaCeO3 磁通钉扎 三氟乙酸盐-金属有机沉积  相似文献

相比于传统的All-pass型微环谐振腔硅基电光调制器, Add-drop型微环谐振腔可提供更多的设计自由度, 使调制器在不改变杂质掺杂浓度的情况下就能在调制带宽和消光比性能上获得均衡考虑. 本文设计了基于Add-drop型微环谐振腔的高速、且在低调制电压下实现大消光比的硅基电光调制器, 所用微环谐振腔的半径仅仅为20 μm. 重点分析了直波导与微环谐振腔的耦合对调制器性能的影响, 发现较小的Drop端耦合系数有利于消光比的提高, 但是不能同时达到最佳的调制带宽, 因此设计上存在一个带宽和消光比性能上的折中考虑. 根据优化设计的结果进行了实际器件的制作和测试. 静态光谱测试表明, 在3 V反向偏置电压的作用下, 调制器的消光比最大可达12 dB. 动态电光响应测试中, 在仅仅1.2 V的信号幅值电压下测得了8 Gbps数据传输速率的清晰眼图. 关键词: 电光调制器 绝缘体上的硅 微环谐振腔 载流子色散效应  相似文献

Based on cyanine dye probe oxazole yellow (YO) and Cy3, a series of novel styryl cyanine dyes were designed and synthesized. Carbazole was inserted into the structures of YO and Cy3 to act as a bridge to link the benzoxazole and indole group. This modification resulted in a novel kind of benzoxazole indole styryl cyanine dye with a carbazole-bridged chain. The dyes were characterized by 1HNMR and MS. The spectra of the novel dyes were also performed and the results showed that the maximum emission wavelength of the carbazole styryl cyanine dye was shifted red, the Stokes shift increased and the fluorescence intensity enhanced compared with those of YO and Cy3. These results indicated that the novel dye could be used as an excellent fluorescent probe in biological labeling.  相似文献

We study the local convergence of several inexact numerical algorithms closely related to Newton’s method for the solution of a simple eigenpair of the general nonlinear eigenvalue problem $T(\lambda )v=0$ . We investigate inverse iteration, Rayleigh quotient iteration, residual inverse iteration, and the single-vector Jacobi–Davidson method, analyzing the impact of the tolerances chosen for the approximate solution of the linear systems arising in these algorithms on the order of the local convergence rates. We show that the inexact algorithms can achieve the same order of convergence as the exact methods if appropriate sequences of tolerances are applied to the inner solves. We discuss the connections and emphasize the differences between the standard inexact Newton’s method and these inexact algorithms. When the local symmetry of $T(\lambda )$ is present, the use of a nonlinear Rayleigh functional is shown to be fundamental in achieving higher order of convergence rates. The convergence results are illustrated by numerical experiments.  相似文献

In this paper, by using p-distances on uniform spaces, we establish a general vectorial Ekeland variational principle (in short EVP), where the objective function is defined on a uniform space and taking values in a pre-ordered real linear space and the perturbation involves a p-distance and a monotone function of the objective function. Since p-distances are very extensive, such a form of the perturbation in deed contains many different forms of perturbations appeared in the previous versions of EVP. Besides, we only require the objective function has a very weak property, as a substitute for lower semi-continuity, and only require the domain space (which is a uniform space) has a very weak type of completeness, i.e., completeness with respect to a certain p-distance. Such very weak type of completeness even includes local completeness when the uniform space is a locally convex topological vector space. From the general vectorial EVP, we deduce a general vectorial Caristi's fixed point theorem and a general vectorial Takahashi's nonconvex minimization theorem. Moreover, we show that the above three theorems are equivalent to each other. We see that the above general vectorial EVP includes many particular versions of EVP, which extend and complement the related known results.  相似文献

Nowadays, long wait, cancellations and resource overload frequently occur in healthcare, especially in those sectors related to the patients passing through the operating theatre in both United States and the European Union. Since more and more hospitals seek to develop the overall patient pathways instead of the effectiveness of “isolated” departments, the most important work has been defining suitable patient groups for employing process management and simulation tools developed in the recent decades. In this study, we proposed a data mining method, an auto-stopped Bisecting K-Medoids clustering algorithm, to classify patients into groups with homogenous trajectories. This method classifies the patient trajectories with two stages. At the first stage, patients are classified by the complexity of outpatient visits; afterwards, the groups obtained at the first stage are further classified by the original information of the trajectories where all medical appointments including outpatient ones are taken into account. By using a real data set collected from a medium-size Belgian hospital, we demonstrate how the proposed approach works and examine which kinds of trajectories are grouped into the same clusters. According to the experimental results, the proposed method can be used to classify patients into manageable groups with homogenous trajectories, which can be used as a base for the process modelling techniques and simulation tools.  相似文献

In this work, the semilinear elliptic systems with Dirichlet boundary value are considered. We extend the notion of subcritical growth from polynomial growth to variable exponent growth. Under the variable exponent growth, nontrivial solutions are obtained via variable exponent Sobolev spaces and variational methods. In this paper we numerically investigate the effects of time delay and coupling strength on synchronization transitions in excitable homogeneous random network. Different roles of time delay and coupling strength have been discovered by synchronization parameter and space–time plots. Specifically, we have found three distinct parameter regions, i.e., asynchronous region (domain I for small time delay), transition region (domain II for moderate time delay) and synchronous region (domain III for large time delay) as time delay is increased. The phenomenon of multi-stability is observed in the transition region. While coupling strength can enhance synchronization in the transition region and can reduce synchronization time in the synchronous region. All these results are independence on the system size.  相似文献
