The first member of the single‐isomer, dicationic cyclodextrin (CD) family, 6A‐ammonium‐6C‐butylimidazolium‐β‐cyclodextrin chlorides (AMBIMCD), has been synthesized, analytically characterized, and used to separate a variety of acidic enantiomers and amino acids by CE. Starting from mono‐6A‐azido‐β‐cyclodextrin, the cationic imidazolium and ammonium moieties were subsequently introduced onto primary ring of β‐cyclodextrin via nucleophilic addition and Staudinger reaction. The analytically pure AC regio‐isomer CD was further obtained via column chromatography. This dicationic CD exhibited excellent enantioselectivities for selected analytes at concentration as low as 0.5 mM, which were even better than those of its mono‐imidazolium or ammonium‐substitued counterpart CDs at 10 equivalent concentrations. The effective mobilities of all studied analytes were found to decrease with the concentration of AMBIMCD. Inclusion complexation in combination with eletrostatic interactions seemed to account for the enhanced chiral discrimination process.  相似文献

A previously developed flame synthesis method was applied to the preparation of mesoporous titania films for application in dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC). The method combines the synthesis of narrowly sized, ultrafine metal oxide particles with controllable chemical and phase purity and the deposition of these particles into a uniform, porous thin film in a single step. The current work used a series of ethylene–oxygen–argon flames to produce DSSC anode films of wide ranging properties. The performance of the solar cells prepared with these anode films was studied at the fundamental level with respect to variations of the titania crystal phase purity and content resulting from changes primarily from flame stoichiometry changes. Based on the basic relationship established among flame synthesis condition-material property-cell performance, a highly efficient DSSC was designed, which shows photocurrent densities better than some of the best performing cells reported to date. Additional studies have focused on a demonstration of the suitability of the flame process in engineering TiO2 films structurally and chemically with the potential of further improved DSSC efficiency.  相似文献

A new and green method for the synthesis of α,β-unsaturated arylsulfones had been achieved through the condensation of aromatic aldehydes,chloroacetonitrile,benzenesulfinic acid sodium salt in the presence of l-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium hydroxide([bmim]OH) in EtOH under reflux.The ionic liquid was recovered and recycled for subsequent reactions.The advantages of this protocol were non-toxic,easy work-up and good yields.  相似文献

A new preparative column for the vortex counter-current chromatograph was fabricated by making many (966) cylindrical separation units to a high-density polyethylene disk and then threading them with 6–40 taps. The resulting column had a total capacity of 364 mL. The performance of this vortex column was examined with three different two-phase solvent systems each using a set of suitable test samples: hexane–ethyl acetate–methanol–0.1 M hydrochloric acid (1:1:1:1, v/v) for the separation of DNP-amino acids; 1-butanol–acetic acid–water (4:1:5, v/v) for the separation of dipeptides; and hexane–acetonitrile–water (20:15:2, v/v) for the separation of Sudan dyes. Most of the separations show high partition efficiency of over a thousand theoretical plates, as expected based on the results previously obtained in preliminary separations with a small column. Overall, the results of the present study suggest that further improvement of the partition efficiency can be obtained by the modifying column configuration.
