Microarray of DNA probes on carboxylate functional beads surface

The microarray of DNA probes with 5' -NH2 and 5' -Tex/3' -NH2 modified terminus on 10 um carboxylate functional beads surface in the presence of 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-carbodiimide (EDC) is characterized in the preseni paper. it was found that the microarray capacity of DNA probes on the beads surface depends on the pH of the aqueous solution, the concentra-tion of DNA probe and the total surface area of the beads. On optimal conditions, the minimum distance of 20 mer single-stranded DNA probe microarrayed on beads surface is about 14 nm, while that of 20 mer double-stranded DNA probes is about 27 nm. If the probe length increases from 20 mer to 35 mer, its microarray density decreases correspondingly. Mechanism study shows that the binding mode of DNA probes on the beads surface is nearly parallel to the beads surface.

Isometries in hyperbolic spaces

Suppose that f:Hn → Hn (n≥2) maps any r-dimensional hyperplane (1≤rn) into an r-dimensional hyperplane. In this paper, we prove that f is an isometry if and only if f is a surjective map. This result gives an affirmative answer to a recent conjecture due to Li and Yao.     

Normal mode wave-number estimation using horizontal synthetic aperture array

A moving synthetic aperture processing with high resolution spectral analysis method was provided to estimate the mode wave-number of acoustics in shallow water waveg- uide, and to overcome the problem of short aperture. First, large aperture synthetic array is created by a moving of short horizontal array, then a MUSIC processing is applied to the estimation of normal mode wave-number. The simulated and sea trial results indicate that the problem of short aperture can be resolved by using of synthetic aperture processing, and the accuracy of estimation in normal mode wave-number could be improved by varying the array depth when it is being towed away from the source.     

PP/HDPE 共混物及其纳米复合材料超临界流体微孔发泡

通过间歇法制备了聚丙烯(PP)/高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)共混物及其纳米复合材料的微孔塑料.用扫描电镜对发泡样品的泡孔结构进行表征,研究了纳米粒子的类型和含量对泡孔结构的影响.结果表明:在PP中加入25%的HDPE可改善泡孔结构;在 PP/HDPE 共混物中加入纳米粒子可使泡孔的直径减小、密度增加、泡孔分布更均匀;泡孔直径随着纳米粒子含量的增加会出现先减小后增加的趋势.     

基于多维名义模型的加权似然估计方法(英文)

The Monte Carlo study evaluates the relative accuracy of Warm's (1989) weighted likelihood estimate (WLE) compared to the maximum likelihood estimate (MLE) using the nominal response model. And the results indicate that WLE was more accurate than MLE.     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of （R）-4-Hydroxymethyl-2-thioxo Thiazolidine and Its Asymmetric Catalysis

(R)-4-Hydroxymethyl-2-thioxo thiazolidine as a new chiral catalyst in the asymmetric addition of diethyl-zinc to benzaldehyde was synthesized from (R)-4-hydroxymethyl-2-thioxo thiazolidine carboxylic acid and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction method. The compound was crystallized in the orthorhombic system, space group P212121 with unit cell dimensions a=0.67253(12) nm; b=0.89164(17) rim; c=1.06146(19) nm, volume 0.6365(2) nm3; Z=4, calculated denisity 1.557 Mg/m3; absorption coefficient 0.733 mm-1; F(000)=312. The X-ray crystal structure analysis reveals that the compound has a thione group.
