Numerical Study on Left-Handed Materials Made of Ferrite and Metallic Wires

Due to coupling effect, we show that it is difficult to realize the left-handed material by placing metallic wires directly into a ferrite matrix. However by introducing an insulating material round the metallic wires to decouple the direct interaction between the metallic wire and ferrite matrix, we have proposed two microstructures, which are shown by numerical simulation to have negative refractive indexes. The influence of microstructure on the transmission property is also examined.     

Monitoring the Aggregation of Dansyl Chloride in Acetone through Fluorescence Measurements

The aggregation of dansyl chloride (DNS-Cl) in acetone has been studied in detail by steady-state fluorescence techniques.It has been demonstrated that DNS-Cl is stable in acetone during purification and aggregation study processes.The aggregates are not solvolyzed in acetone,and do not take part n any chemical reactions either.It has been found that DNS-Cl tends to aggregate even when its concentration is much lower than its solubility in acetone.The aggregation is reversible,and both the aggregation and the deaggregation are very slow processes.Introduction of SDS has a positive effect upon the formation and stabilization of the aggregates.     

磁学研究与三环公司发展

简要回顾了20世纪20年代以来我国现代磁学研究的历史。20世纪80年代初期正值我国改革开放浪潮之时，科技人员纷纷走上科技成果产业化道路。建立于1985年的中国科学院三环公司就是一个成功的代表，同时好也是我国现代磁学研究结出的一颗硕果。     

离心泵快速启动过程外部特性的试验研究

介绍离心泵快速启动试验装置和试验方法,对一台出口直径为80 mm的小型管道离心泵进行试验研究,分别测试了试验泵的稳态性能和各项瞬态性能,比较分析了两者的区别。结果显示,启动过程中,离心泵的扬程紧跟转速到达最大值,转速稳定后的瞬态性能与稳态假设对应,流量和扬程的上升历程与管路阻力特性直接相关,而转速与其基本无关; 在启动初始阶段,无量纲扬程呈现很大值,继而迅速减小到低于稳态假设值,表现出明显的瞬态效应。     

Solutions in Sobolev spaces of vector refinement equations with a general dilation matrix

In this paper, we present a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions in a Sobolev space W_p^k(ℝ^s) (1≤p≤∞) to a vector refinement equation with a general dilation matrix. The criterion is constructive and can be implemented. Rate of convergence of vector cascade algorithms in a Sobolev space W_p^k(ℝ^s) will be investigated. When the dilation matrix is isotropic, a characterization will be given for the L_p (1≤p≤∞) critical smoothness exponent of a refinable function vector without the assumption of stability on the refinable function vector. As a consequence, we show that if a compactly supported function vector φ∈L_p(ℝ^s) (φ∈C(ℝ^s) when p=∞) satisfies a refinement equation with a finitely supported matrix mask, then all the components of φ must belong to a Lipschitz space Lip(ν,L_p(ℝ^s)) for some ν>0. This paper generalizes the results in R.Q. Jia, K.S. Lau and D.X. Zhou (J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 7 (2001) 143–167) in the univariate setting to the multivariate setting. 用峰面积判据改善Delsuc法预测的谱

基于Prony算法的Delsuc谱预测是目前NMR LPSVD(Linear Prediction SingularValue Decomposition)法中比较实用的方法。但在高噪声的条件下,时有失峰和假峰出现且要事先知道谱的峰数。本文通过跟踪迭代过程发现Delsuc法的判别因子r_(mis) 很难选定。如果它太小会失峰,而过大又会出现假峰。同时,由于噪声的影响,弱信号的采样点之间的相关性比强信号小,从而在迭代过程中会增加数值不稳定性。文中引入峰面积判据来改善Delsuc法,经模拟与实验均证明结果有效。     

Electric Dipole Moment of W-boson Through Neutral Higga-Boson Exchange

We compute the electric dipole moment generated at two-loop for the W-boson in the Weinberg-Higgs model in which the CP violation is mediated by neutral Higgs-boson exchange. We also compare our results with the others relative to the problem in the literature     

激光二极管自混合干涉和微振动的实验观测

介绍了利用LabView软件虚拟示波器和信号源,对激光二极管自混合干涉和微振动进行的实验观测.该实验可以作为本科低年级学生的综合设计实验.     

金融时间序列分析与建模

介绍了金融时间序列分析与建模的主要理论、方法,着重论述了近20多年发展起来的非平稳时间序列的建模方法及工具,指出进一步的研究方向.最后,对上证综合指数这一金融时间序列进行了实证分析.     

Double-Humped Transverse Density Profile in Two-Dimensional Chute Flow with Rough Sidewalls

We study a two-dimensional granular rapid flow with rough sidewalls stuck with the same size discs by molecular dynamics simulation. A transient state of the double-humped density profile in the flowing process has been found, which appears and moves as travelling wave and is the same as the phenomena in the recent experiments [Acta Phys. Sin. 53 （2004） 3389 （in Chinese）]. Our simulation shows that the rough sidewalls play an important role in the converting momentum of boundary discs from the vertical direction to the horizontal one through particle collisions to form this profile and the good elasticity of discs ensures this effect. The appearance of the double-humped profile may be a precursor, which determines if the whole flow will be far repulsed from the boundary and become dilute eventually.
