Inflation and reheating in the Starobinsky model with conformal HiggsField

This is a talk presented by A.A. Tokareva at Baikal summer school on physics of elementary particles and astrophysics 2012. We studied the reheating after the Starobinsky inflation and have found that the main process is the inflaton decay to SM gauge fields due to the conformal anomaly. The reheating temperature is low leading to the possibility to detect the gravity wave signal from inflation and evaporation of structures formed after inflation in DECIGO and BBO experiments. Also we give predictions for the parameters of scalar perturbation spectrum at the next-to-leading order of slow roll and obtain a bound on the Higgs mass.     

CMS remote center at JINR

The dedicated remote center of CMS Experiment at the LHC has been founded in JINR (Dubna). The main mission of the center is operational and efficient monitoring of the CMS detector systems, including the measurements of performance parameters during the prompt data analysis, monitoring of data acquisition and quality of data. Since 2009 the center is involved in remote shifts and operation works of the CMS.

Elasticoplastic conditions of the filtration of a liquid in porous media

The article discusses questions in the theory of filtration in porous media, taking account of elastic, elasticoplastic, and plastic deformations. Parameters are introduced to evaluate irreversible effects in petroleum- and water-bearing strata, i.e., coefficients of the change in the porosity and the permeability. Equations are derived for filtration under unsteady-state and steady-state working conditions of wells and galleries. Two limiting cases, which allow analytical solutions, are separated out. In the general case, the equations of elasticoplastic filtration conditions are solved on an electronic computer. Synthesis of 1′-substituted 4′,4′-dimethyl-6′-methoxy-4′H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,3′-isoquinolines]

The reaction of 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-(1-methylcyclohexyl)ethanol with nitriles in concentrated sulfuric acid afforded 1′-substituted 6′-methoxy-4′,4′-dimethyl-4′H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,3′-isoquinolines] as a result of consecutive Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement and Ritter reaction.
