Integral formulas in symmetric and asymmetric elasticity

Several new integral representations of the solutions to some problems of the moment and nonmoment theories of elasticity for heterogeneous bodies are proposed in terms of the solutions to the same problems for homogeneous bodies. In particular, these integral representations can be used to substantiate the homogenization procedure for composite mechanics problems.     

Entangled states of light on the basis of biphotons

Systems for preparing entangled states of light from biphotons on the basis of linear optical elements and projective measurements are considered. Specific features of quantum correlations of the appearing states can be detected in the proposed detection schemes.     

Effects of carbonyl-group geometrical parameters on carboxylic-acid dissociation constants in aqueous solution

CNDO/2 has provided a correlation giving the carboxylic-acid ionization constants in aqueous solution on the basis of known OCO bond angles in the carboxyl groups. Amplification of two-mode squeezed light in the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen State

Two schemes for amplifying two-mode squeezed light in the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen state, where quantum correlations are conserved due to the presence of integrals of motion, while the power of each wave can increase, are considered. The first scheme is based on the parametric three-photon interaction in a transparent nonlinear medium. The second scheme is a variant of the resonance interaction with an atomic ensemble.

The applying of exponential temperature programming: dT/dt=T orT=T ₀ e ^t in thermal analysis at non-isothermal kinetics is discussed. An approach for the integration of the temperature integral is presented.
