The alpha v beta 3 integrin receptor plays an important role in human metastasis and tumor-induced angiogenesis. Targeting this receptor may provide information about the receptor status of the tumor and enable specific therapeutic planning. Solid-phase peptide synthesis of multimeric cyclo(-RGDfE-)-peptides is described, which offer the possibility of enhanced integrin targeting due to polyvalency effects. These peptides contain an aminooxy group for versatile chemoselective oxime ligation. Conjugation with para-trimethylstannylbenzaldehyde results in a precursor for radioiododestannylation, which would allow them to be used as potential tools for targeting and imaging alpha v beta 3-expressing tumor cells. The structures of the host-guest complexes [[[[P(mu-NtBu)]2(mu-NH)]5]I]-.[Li(thf)4]+ [2.I[Li(thf)4]] and [[[P(mu-NtBu)]2(mu-NH)]5].HBr.THF (2.HBr.THF) show that increased distortion of the framework of the pentameric macrocycle [[[P(mu-NtBu)]2(mu-NH)]5] (2) occurs with the larger halide ions. Theoretical studies show that the thermodynamic stabilities of the model host-guest anions [2.X]- (X=Cl, Br, I) are in the order Cl- approximately Br->I-, that is, the reverse of the templating trend observed experimentally. These studies support the view that the selection of the pentamer 2 over the tetramer [[[P(mu-NtBu)]2(mu-NH)]4] (1) is kinetically controlled, a conclusion which is also consistent with the previous observation that the frameworks of 1 and 2 are not in dynamic equilibrium with each other. 相似文献

The catalytic CO + NO reaction to form CO2, N2, and N2O has been studied on a Pd(111) surface at pressures up to 240 mbar using in situ polarization modulation infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (PM-IRAS). At 240 mbar, for a pressure ratio of PCO:PNO = 3:2 and under reaction conditions, besides adsorbed CO, the formation of isocyanate (-NCO) was observed. Once produced at 500-625 K, the isocyanate species was stable within the entire temperature range studied (300-625 K). On the other hand, its formation required a total CO + NO pressure of at least 0.6 mbar, illustrating the importance of in situ infrared experiments under high-pressure conditions. A simple theoretical model is presented to explain the observed anomalous dual phosphorescences of certain aromatic carbonyl compounds in some rigid media. The phenomenon of dual phosphorescence for large molecules violates the well-known Kasha rule stating that the emission can occur only from the lowest excited electronic state of a given multiplicity. For a small energy gap between the second triplet state (T2) and the first triplet state (T1), the sparse density of T1 vibronic levels, isoenergetic with the T2 vibrationless level, leads to a rather slow T2 → T1 radiationless process which is unable to quench the T2 emission completely. Two cases of T1 = 3nπ*, T2 = 3ππ* and T1 = 3ππ*, T2 = 3nπ* are discussed at both the low-temperature and the high-temperature limits. 相似文献
