Parasupersymmetry of Non-Linear and Isotropic Oscillator on Constant Curvature

In this paper we discuss the one-dimensional non-linear harmonic oscillator and isotropic oscillator in positive curvature. We will see that in the special case two different oscillator have a same behavior. Finally, by using the parasupersymmetry algebra we obtain the partner potential and superpotential. These superpotential lead us to obtain the corresponding superchares.     

Maximality of linear continuous logic

The linear compactness theorem is a variant of the compactness theorem holding for linear formulas. We show that the linear fragment of continuous logic is maximal with respect to the linear compactness theorem and the linear elementary chain property. We also characterize linear formulas as those preserved by the ultramean construction.     

Determination of zinc in water samples by flame atomic absorption spectrometry after homogeneous liquid-liquid extraction

In this study, a new and simple homogeneous liquid-liquid extraction (HLLE) method based on a pH-independent phase-separation process was developed using a ternary solvent system [water-tetrabutylammonium ion (TBA ⁺)-chloroform] for the preconcentration of Zn²⁺ ions. A Schiff’s base ligand was used as the chelating agent prior to Zn²⁺ ions extraction. Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry using acetylene-air flame was used for the quantification of analyte after preconcentration. The phase separation occurred due to ion-pair formation of TBA and perchlorate ion. The sedimented phase was then separated using a 100 μL micro-syringe and diluted to 1.0 mL with ethanol. The sample was introduced into the flame by conventional aspiration. After the optimization of complexation and extraction conditions such as pH 9.0, [ligand] = 1.0 × 10⁻⁵ M, [TBA⁺] = 2.0 × 10⁻² M, 100.0 μL of [CHCl₃] and [CLO₄⁻] = 2.0 × 10⁻² M, a preconcentration factor of 100 was achieved for only 10 mL of the sample. The relative standard deviation was 2.3% (n = 10). The limit of detection was sufficiently low and at ppb level. The proposed method was applied to the extraction and determination of Zn²⁺ in natural water samples with satisfactory results.

Calculation of η′ Decay Modes Using Chiral Perturbation Theory

In this paper, with the use of Chiral Perturbation theory (χPT), we have studied the η′ decays in to 3π and 2πη, after performing these reactions. The Scattering amplitude and decay width are calculated for different modes up to NLO. The Dalitz plot expansion and parameter fixing for each of them is also calculated. Experimental results are in good agreement with the obtained results. We compare our results with charged and neutral decay parameters with the most recent Particle Data Group results of these observables. At next-to-leading order, our results for decay widths of the charged (neutral) channel are Γ(η′→2πη)=83.6±0.8 (43.0±2.2) keV and Γ(η′→3π)=0.716±0.072 (0.320±0.079) keV. These results are in agreement with several other theoretical determinations and experimental findings.     

Codes with girth 8 Tanner graph representation

Since short cycles are (empirically) detrimental to message passing, determining the girth of a given code is of interest in coding theory. Halford et al. studied codes which do not have a 4-cycle-free Tanner graph representation. It is natural to then ask which codes must have girth 8. In this paper, a new necessary condition is derived for codes to have girth 8. Halford et al. made statements about the girth of high rate well known codes but the girth of lower rate codes remain open. In this work, we investigate girth of low rate Reed–Muller, BCH and Reed–Solomon codes.
