The propagation of a spikelike ultrashort laser pulse in a mirror waveguide of rectangular cross section with perfectly conducting walls is considered. An algorithm for the calculation of the propagation of a field pulse in such a waveguide is designed. The general approach is illustrated by calculation of the propagation of a p-polarized field pulse shorter than the dimensions of the waveguide cross section. 相似文献

A model of electron detachment from negative ions is based on the approximation of instantaneous perturbation. A simple analytical representation for the ground state of the weakly bound electron is chosen to reproduce the radial distribution of electron density at any distance from the center of the ion. The probabilities of electron detachment from negative hydrogen and lithium ions are derived as functions of the transferred momentum of the laser field. The contribution of the inner shells of ions to the electron detachment is estimated. The momentum distribution of electrons in the final state is obtained. The effect of a pulse train on the total probability of detachment is considered for different pulse polarities. The conditions for the partial electron return to the initial state are revealed. 相似文献

The density of states and the excitation temperature of an atom are found. To describe the ionization process, a diffusion equation with ejection is proposed. It is shown that the possibility of multielectron ionization is determined by the competition of the heating of an atom by an external field and evaporative ionization. We consider the reflection of an ultrashort pulse from a motionless extended object having cylindrical symmetry. The reflected
pulse is described using the nonstationary Kirchhoff integral. The parameters of body boundaries shaped as circular arcs,
straight lines, parabolas, and splines are reconstructed using neural networks. The obtained results allow one to perform
spatial visualization of the object. The limitations and possibilities of the further development of the method are presented.
