[reaction: see text] The synthesis of isoquinolines through coupling of 2-alkynylbenzaldehyde derivatives with beta-cyanocarbene complexes has been examined. The reaction involves formation of an isobenzofuran followed by intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction with the nitrile, a process with limited precedent. The unique success of this process in this system has been attributed to deoxygenation of the initial adduct to form the isoquinoline ring system. 相似文献

A ubiquinol side-chain hydrogenated version (PQS-2) of the recently introduced PQS is described. It forms catalytic nanomicellar reactors in water that provide the medium for highly reactive Ru carbene catalysts to effect both ring closing metathesis to trisubstituted olefins and cross-metathesis reactions at room temperature. Addition of α-arylmethylidene- or α-alkylidene-β-keto ester enolate to N-activated aldimines via the imino aldol pathway followed by intramolecular aza-Michael reaction in a domino fashion has been developed, and a highly diastereoselective route to substituted piperidines is reported. To probe the intrinsic stress distribution in terms of spatial Raman shift (ω) and change in the phonon linewidth (Γ), here we analyze self‐assembled graphene oxide fibers (GOF) ‘Latin letters’ by confocal Raman spectroscopy. The self‐assembly of GOF ‘Latin letters’ has been explained through surface tension, π–π stacking, van der Waals interaction at the air–water interface and by systematic time‐dependent investigation using field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis. Intrinsic residual stress due to structural joints and bending is playing a distinct role affecting the E2g mode (G band) at and away from the physical interface of GOF segments with broadening of phonon linewidth, indicating prominent phonon softening. Linescan across an interface of the GOF ‘letters’ reveals Raman shift to lower wavenumber in all cases but more so in ‘Z’ fiber exhibiting a broader region. Furthermore, intrinsic stress homogeneity is observed for ‘G’ fiber distributed throughout its curvature with negligible shift corresponding to E2g mode vibration. Study of magnetoresistance and conductance of bicrystal grain boundary in La0.67Ba0.33MnO3 thin film
La0.67Ba0.33MnO3 (LBMO) thin film is deposited on a 36.7°C SrTiO3 bicrystal substrate using laser ablation technique. A microbridge is created across bicrystal grain boundary and its characteristics
are compared with a microbridge on the LBMO film having no grain boundary. Presence of grain boundary exhibits substantial
magnetoresistance ratio (MRR) in the low field and low temperature region. Bicrystal grain boundary contribution in MRR disappears
at temperature T>175 K. At low temperature, I-V characteristic of the microbridge across bicrystal grain boundary is nonlinear. Analysis of temperature dependence of dynamic
conductance-voltage characteristics of the bicrystal grain boundary indicates that at low temperatures (T<175 K) carrier transport across the grain boundary in LBMO film is dominated by inelastic tunneling via pairs of manganese
atoms and tunneling through disordered oxides. At higher temperatures (T>175 K), magnetic scattering process is dominating. Decrease of bicrystal grain boundary contribution in magnetoresistance
with the increase in temperature is due to enhanced spin-flip scattering process. 相似文献

We report extensive molecular dynamics simulations of (i) model ions in water at high concentrations as a function of the size and charge of the ion as well as (ii) realistic simulation of Cl- and Br- ions at low concentrations in water at room temperature. We also analyze existing experimental data in light of the results obtained here. The halide ion simulations have been carried out using the interaction potentials of Koneshan et al. (J. Phys. Chem. B 1998, 102, 4193). We compute structural and dynamical properties of ions in water and explore their variation with size and charge of the ion. We find that ions of certain intermediate sizes exhibit a maximum in self-diffusivity in agreement with previous experimental measurements and computer simulations. We analyze molecular dynamics trajectories in light of the previous understanding of the levitation effect (LE) and the recent suggestion that ionic conductivity has its origin in LE (J. Phys. Chem. B 2005, 109, 8120). We report the distribution of void and neck radii that exist amidst water. Our analysis suggests that the ion with maximum self-diffusivity is characterized by a lower activation energy and a single-exponential decay of F(s)(k,t). The behavior of these and other related quantities of the ion with maximum self-diffusivity are characteristic of the anomalous regime of the LE. The simulation results of Br- and Cl- ions in water also yield results in agreement with the predictions of LE. A plot of experimental conductivity data in the literature for alkali ions in water by Kay and Evans (J. Phys. Chem. 1966, 70, 2325) also yields a lower activation energy for the ion with maximum conductivity in excellent agreement with the LE. To the best of our knowledge, none of the existing theories predict a lower activation energy for the ion with maximum conductivity. 相似文献

We present a molecular-dynamics study of the solvent reorganization energy of electron transfer in supercooled water. We observe a sharp decrease of the reorganization energy at a temperature identified as the temperature of structural arrest due to cage effect as discussed by the mode coupling theory. Both the heat capacity and dielectric susceptibility of the pure water show sharp drops at about the same temperature. This temperature also marks the onset of the enhancement of translational diffusion relative to rotational relaxation signaling the breakdown of the Stokes-Einstein relation. The change in the reorganization energy at the transition temperature reflects the dynamical arrest of the slow, collective relaxation of the solvent related to Debye relaxation of the solvent dipolar polarization. 相似文献
