N-(2′-Hydroxy-4′-N,N-dimethylaminobenzylidene)-4-nitroaniline [HDBN] has been used as a model for investigating intra- and intermolecular D–A (donor–acceptor) interactions in various environments by means of UV/Vis spectroscopy. UV/Vis spectra of HDBN have been measured in various solvents, ethanolic solutions of different pH, adsorbed on silica, and in the solid state. A bathochromic shift of νmax is observed with increasing the dipolarity/polarizability and HBD (hydrogen bond donor) capacity of the solvent, which is described by means of a multiple LSE (linear solvation energy) relationship in terms of the empirical Kamlet-Taft solvent polarity parameters. The adsorption of HDBN on Aerosil? 300-silica particles in non-HBA (hydrogen bond acceptor) solvents is explained in the same sense. Mobile protons and sol–gel entrapping cause a hypsochromic shift due to protonation of the lone electron pair of the 4′-N,N-dimethylamino group. Hydroxide ions attack the 2′-hydroxy group which causes a bathochromic shift. A strong intramolecular hydrogen bond between the 2′-hydroxyl hydrogen and the imine nitrogen atom is present in the solid-state structure causing an unprecedented bathochromic shift.  相似文献

The performance of a polymeric stationary phase with reversed-phase properties (ET-RP1) was evaluated for LC separations at elevated temperature. The most significant observation was that the reduced plate height (h) decreased from 3.4 at 25 °C (optimal flow 0.5 mL/min) to 2.4 at 150 °C (optimal flow 2.5 mL/min) which is comparable to the efficiency obtained with silica-based reversed-phase columns of 4.6 mm ID operated at 0.8 mL/min. The phase showed no deterioration after long use at 150 °C within the pH range 1–9. Catalytic activity originating from the stationary phase material, e.g. as experienced on zirconium columns operated at elevated temperature, was absent. The performance of ET-RP1 is illustrated with the analysis of some pharmaceutical samples by LC and LC–MS. Operation at elevated temperature also allows to reduce the amount of organic modifier or to replace acetonitrile and methanol by the biodegradable ethanol.  相似文献

A lipidomics strategy, combining high resolution reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC) with high resolution quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (QqTOF), is described. The method has carefully been assessed in both a qualitative and a quantitative fashion utilizing human blood plasma. The inherent low technical variability associated with the lipidomics method allows to measure 65% of the features with an intensity RSD value below 10%. Blood plasma lipid spike-in experiments demonstrate that relative concentration differences smaller than 25% can readily be revealed by means of a t-test. Utilizing an advanced identification strategy, it is shown that the detected features mainly originate from (lyso-)phospholipids, sphingolipids, mono-, di- and triacylglycerols and cholesterol esters. The high resolution offered by the up-front RPLC step further allows to discriminate various isomeric species associated with the different lipid classes. The added value of utilizing a Jetstream electrospray ionization (ESI) source over a regular ESI source in lipidomics is for the first time demonstrated. In addition, the application of ultra high performance LC (UHPLC) up to 1200 bar to extend the peak capacity or increase productivity is discussed.  相似文献

The crystal structures of inclusion compounds of 3,3-bis(9-hydroxy-9-fluorenyl)-2,2-binaphthyl host (1) and its chloro (2) or bromo (3) derivatives substituted in 2,7-positions of the fluorene units with acetone guests (1A3A) were determined by X-ray studies as well as by 1H-CRAMPS solid-state NMR. Using this NMR technique allows identification of differently bound guest molecules due to their different chemical shifts caused by the influence of the ring current effects of the host aryl units.  相似文献

Caesium heptaiodo‐dititanate(III), CsTi2I7, is obtained from CsI, Ti and TiI4 at 250 °C in a sealed tantalum ampoule as dark red single crystals. The crystal structure (trigonal, R‐3, a = 1706.6(3), c = 2088.3(5) pm, Z = 12, R1 = 0.0619) contains [TiI4] tetrahedra sharing common vertices (with Ti—I—Ti angles of 180°) to isolated ditetrahedra [Ti2I7]. It may also be described as a cubic closest packing of alternating CsI3 and I4 layers between which neighbouring tetrahedra are occupied in a way that [Ti2I7] ditetrahedra are achieved. http://www.gerdmeyer.de  相似文献

From a range of preparative methods, three geometric isomers of bis(diphenylarsino)methane‐dichloroplatinum(II) have been isolated, viz. cis‐PtCl2(dpam), trans, trans‐Pt2Cl4(dpam)2 and cis, trans‐Pt2Cl4(dpam)2. Their structures were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

Colourless single crystals of the caffeine adduct of mercurous perchlorate dihydrate, [Hg2(Caf)2](ClO4)2(H2O)2, were grown from aqueous solutions of mercurous perchlorate and caffeine by isothermal evaporation at ambient temperature. The crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/n, Z = 4, a = 1628.0(2), b = 780.4(1), c = 2229.6(3) pm, β = 99.84(1)°, R1(all data) = 0.0894) contains [trans‐Caf‐Hg‐Hg‐Caf]2+ cations with a Hg‐Hg distance of 250.88(6) pm, Hg‐N (bond) distances of 214.4(6) and 215.1(6) pm and Hg‐Hg‐N angles of 176.9(2) and 165.1(2)°, respectively. These cations are attached via weak Hg‐O contacts to dimers which are further arranged to leave large channels into which one crystal water molecule is included. The second water molecule and the two perchlorate anions are weakly attracted to one Hg atom.  相似文献

Some transition metal complexes are known to catalyze ortho/para hydrogen conversion, hydrogen isotope scrambling, and hydrogenation reactions in liquid solution. Using the example of Vaska's complex, we present here evidence by NMR that the solvent is not necessary for these reactions to occur. Thus, solid frozen solutions or polycrystalline powdered samples of homogeneous catalysts may become heterogeneous catalysts. Comparative liquid- and solid-state studies provide novel insight into the reaction mechanisms.  相似文献

Ternary Lithium Rare Earth Nitrates with Lonesome Nitrate Ions: Li3[M(NO3)5](NO3) (M = Gd? Lu, Y). The Crystal Structure of Li3Er(NO3)6 Single crystals of the ternary nitrate Li3Er(NO3)6 are obtained from a solution of “Er(NO3)3” in the melt of LiNO3. In Li3Er(NO3)6 (monoclinic, P21/n, Z = 4; a = 776.0(1); b = 748.86(8); c = 2 396(1) pm; β = 90.76(3)°; R1 = 0.0490; wR2 = 0.0792), Er3+ is surrounded by five bidentate nitrate ligands yielding the anionic units [Er(NO3)5]2?. These are arranged in the direction of the 21 screw axis. Two lonesome NO3? ions are in the middle of such a “helix” and are connected by Li+ with the anions [Er(NO3)5]2?. The helices are moved against each other by about half of the lattice constant a and are connected by further Li+ ions.  相似文献
