The structure and phase transitions in poly[bis-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)phosphazene] have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and x-ray diffraction. Two crystalline phases and one mesomorphic phase are found, denoted I, II, and III, respectively. These phases convert reversibly one into the other on heating and cooling. The Phase I–Phase II transition occurs in a temperature range from 5 to 30°C whereas the Phase II mesophase (Phase III) transition proceeds above 80°C. Heats of transitions are measured to be about 29.0 J/g and 3.6 J/g, respectively. Crystalline Phase I is characterized by a monoclinic unit cell with the parameters: α = 24.4 Å, b = 9.96 Å, c = 4.96 Å, γ = 123°. The axes of both chains, traversing the unit cell, are directed along the “c” axis, the main chains having cis-trans conformation. Phase I is the common crystalline structure for the main chain and side chains. The structure of Phase II is controlled mainly by packing of the side chains. Transition of Phase II into mesomorphic Phase III is accompanied with distortion of packing of the side chains. Only regular packing of the main chains of macromolecules in the plane perpendicular to their axes exists in Phase III. Mesomorphic phase III is stable up to the degradation temperature of the polymer. A significant effect of stress on the Phase II–III transition in oriented samples was found.  相似文献

We present a new technique for direct conversion of thermal energy into coherent radiation. The near-surface layer of evaporated excited atoms of rare earth metals is proposed to be used as a converter. There is an inverted population in this layer. Operation principles of two level lasers on the transitions to the ground state using Eu are considered. The fact of detachment of Sm atoms in the excited 4f(N-1)5d6s2 state during the thermal evaporation process has been proved experimentally.  相似文献

A near-infrared tunable diode laser spectrometer called TDLAS has been developed that combines telecommunication-type as well as new-generation antimonide laser diodes to measure C2H2, H2O, CO2 and their isotopologues in the near infrared. This sensor is devoted to the in situ analysis of the soil of the Martian satellite PHOBOS, within the framework of the Russian space mission PHOBOS-GRUNT. In the first part of the paper, we report accurate spectroscopic measurements of C2H2 and 13C12CH2 near 1.533 μm, of H2O and CO2 at 2.682 μm and of the isotopologues 13C16O2 and 16O12C18O near 2.041 μm and H2 17O, H2 18O and HDO near 2.642 μm. The achieved line strengths are thoroughly compared to data from molecular databases or from former experimental determinations. In the second part of the paper, we describe the TDLAS spectrometer for the PHOBOS-GRUNT mission.  相似文献

Results from studying the formation and restructuring of 2d domain patterns with Pab2 symmetry are presented. A specific feature of these patterns is that they can formed and remain stable for long periods of time in a zero bias field, making it easier to use domain patterns in magneto-optical devices. A method for finding the region of domain pattern formation with Pab2 symmetry is tested. The turning of a domain pattern at a target angle under the effect of a series of magnetic pulses is detected.  相似文献
