Eine einfache Mehrprobenrotationsanordnung zur Aktivierungsanalyse am Neutronengenerator

Es wird eine Anordnung beschrieben, die es gestattet, bis zu 7 Proben unter identischen Bedingungen rotationssymmetrisch zu aktivieren. Die Proben rotieren um zwei parallele Achsen. Es wird über Erprobungsmessungen durch Aktivierung von Cu-und N-haltigen Proben berichtet.     

Synthesis of 2‐Unsubstituted 1,3‐Selenazoles by Cyclization of Selenoformamide with α‐Bromocarbonyl Compounds

2‐Unsubstituted 1,3‐selenazoles were prepared by cyclization of selenoformamide with α‐bromoacetophenones. Parent 1,3‐selenazole was prepared by cyclization of selenoformamide with α‐bromoacetaldehyde.     

Application of the radioreagent method for yield determination in neutron activation analysis

A very convenient method for yield determination in NAA is the use of isotopic radiotracers. But for the majority of elements determinable by NAA no suitable isotopic radiotracers exist. For some of these elements the radioreagent methodoffers afvourable opportunity to use also non-isotopic radiotracers. An activation analytical copper determination method is described using a radioactively labelled reagent for correction of separation losses. Results of copper determinations in 8 international standard reference materials are given.     

Comparison of click responses of primary auditory fibers with minimum-phase predictions

Minimum-phase impulse responses were constructed from the frequency threshold-response curves of primary auditory fibers in the anesthetized cat. These impulse responses had many of the same characteristics as the experimental click responses. The two types of responses had similar inter-peak intervals as well as similar (+/- 1.5 ms) latencies to the principal mode and similar (+/- 1.0 ms) intervals from response onset to the principal mode.     

Vectorial Approach to Fast Correlation Attacks

A new, vectorial approach to fast correlation attacks on binary memoryless combiners is proposed. Instead of individual input sequences or their linear combinations, the new attack is targeting subsets of input sequences as a whole thus exploiting the full correlation between the chosen subset and the output sequence. In particular, the set of all the input sequences can be chosen as the target. The attack is based on a novel iterative probabilistic algorithm which is also applicable to general memoryless combiners over finite fields or finite rings. To illustrate the effectiveness of the introduced approach, experimental results obtained for random balanced combining functions are presentedMost of this work was done while he was with Rome CryptoDesign Center, Gemplus, Italy     

On the Motion of a Dynamic System with Minimal Dissipation

The motion of a holonomic scleronomic non-conservative mechanicalsystem with minimal dissipation is considered. As applicationsof the theory several problems are studied in detail.     

Chiral phosphinooxazolines with a pentamethylferrocene backbone--synthesis and use as ligands in asymmetric catalysis

Novel phosphinooxazolines, containing a unit of central and a unit of planar chirality in a matched case combination, have been successfully tested in the Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution with cycloalkenyl acetates as substrates.
