The results of the first experiments devised to investigate the mixing of thin layers of Al and Au during the laser acceleration
of flat three-layer targets of Si (5 μm), Al (2 μm), and Au (0.05–0.26 μm) by radiation converted to the second harmonic from the Iskra-4 iodine laser with an intensity of 4×1013−7×1013 W/cm2 (τ
0.5∼1 ns), which acts on the Si side of the target. A method for detecting the occurrence of mixing is developed. It is established
that under the experimental conditions the thickness of the mixing region is at least ∼0.15 μm. The results of a theoretical analysis of the evolution of the disturbances leading to mixing are presented.

In the framework of the spin operators diagram technique the method of taking into account the correlation effects in magnetic system based on the idea of expansion (z is the number of the nearest neighbours) is proposed. An equation of state of 3-dimensional Ising systems with the arbitrary spin values S in the first order in is presented which considerably improves the mean field theory (being the zeroth order approximation). Dipolar coupling in the body-centered tetragonal crystal of Ising spins that is a prototype of the Mn12Ac molecular magnet favors ferromagnetic ordering below the mean-field Curie temperature 0.71 K. With the help of Monte Carlo on crystals of up to one million Mn12 molecules, it is shown that ordering occurs at 0.36 K in elongated crystals. The resulting state is split into ferromagnetic domains with domain walls preferring the diagonal orientation. Domain walls are pinned by the lattice at low temperatures. Making the crystal shorter makes domains finer and smoothens out the singularity at the ordering transition, decreasing the susceptibility in the domain state. 相似文献
