Optical and electroluminescent properties of a number of new derivatives of divinyl dibenzothiophene sulfone

Photoluminescent and electroluminescent properties of four new bipolar linear derivatives of divinyl dibenzothiophene sulfone are studied. It is found that amorphous films of solutions, as well as films of the compounds under study in the poly(N-vinylcarbazole) matrix, have a rather high quantum yield of photoluminescence in the blue and blue-green spectrum regions. Bright blue electroluminescence is obtained in the samples with a structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/TPD/OC/LiF/Al using vacuum deposition of the compounds under study and in the single-layer ITO/PEDOT:PSS/PVK:OC/LiF/Al structure when applied from the solution with a threshold voltage of 2.5–3.5 V. The influence of a molecule structure on the spectra and quantum yield of fluorescence as well as on the electroluminescent properties of the compounds is shown. Results of quantum-chemical calculations in the context of the density functional theory of the structure and characteristics of main molecular orbitals are presented.     

Influence of the composition of compositions based on organic compounds and chelate complexes of aluminun and yridium on their electroluminescent properties

The effect of the composition of electroluminescent compositions based on PEDOT, TPD, Alq₃, and Ir(PPy)₃, the structure of the cathode (Al, CaMg/Ag, Al/Ag), and the possibility of forming of emitting layers (thermovacuum deposition and centrifugation) on their current-voltage, voltage-brightness, and spectral characteristics has been studied. Photo-and electroluminescence of organic molecular compositions on the basis of Alq<Subscript>3</Subscript>, TPD,and PVK

The solvents for producing qualitative electroluminescencing films are chosen on the basis of investigation into spectral-luminescent properties of aluminium tris-(8-oxyquinolinate) and N,N′-bis(3-methyl phenyl)-N,N′-diphenyl benzidine in chlorinated solvents (chloroform, dichloroethane, tetrachloroethane) and polyvinylcarbazole films produced from these solvents. Spontaneous and stimulated emissions of copolyfluorenes during photo- and electro-excitation

This review concerns the specific features of photo- and electroexcited processes of excitation energy deactivation in one of the most widely studied classes of organic semiconducting polymers, copolyfluorenes. Spectral-luminescent, electroluminescent, and light-generating properties of a number of copolyfluorenes are discussed, and ways to create organic electronics devices on their basis are revealed.
