The first immobilization of a pyrene-tagged chromium salen complex through π-π noncovalent interactions on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) is described. A very robust supported catalytic system is obtained to promote asymmetric catalysis in repeated cycles, without loss of activity or enantioselectivity. This specific behavior was demonstrated in two different catalytic reactions (up to ten reuses) promoted by chromium salen complexes, the cyclohexene oxide ring-opening reaction and the hetero-Diels-Alder cycloaddition between various aldehydes and Danishefsky's diene. Furthermore, the chiral chromium salen@rGO has been found to be compatible with a multi-substrate type use, in which the structure of the substrate involved is modified each time the catalyst is reused.  相似文献

Agastache rugosa Kuntze (Korean mint) is used as a spice and in folk medicine in East Asia. The present study identified a total of 18 polyphenols from the flower, leaf, stem and roots of this plant using high‐performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. Fourteen of these compounds had not previously been identified in these plant tissues. Each polyphenol was validated in comparison with external calibration curves constructed using structurally related compounds, with determination coefficients >0.9993. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.092–0.650 and 0.307–2.167 mg/L, respectively. Recoveries of 61.92–116.44% were observed at two spiking levels, with 0.91–11% precision, expressed as relative standard deviation (except anthraquinone spiked at 10 mg/L). Hydroxycinnamic acid was the most abundant compound in the root, while the flowers showed the highest total flavonoid level. Antioxidant activities, determined in terms of reducing power, Fe2+ chelating activity and the radical scavenging activities using α,α‐diphenyl‐β‐picrylhydrazyl and 2‐2?‐azino‐bis‐3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulfonic acid, increased in a concentration‐dependent manner; the highest activity was identified in the stems, followed by leaves > flowers > roots. These findings indicate that A. rugosa is a good source of bioactive compounds and can be used as a functional food. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new Schiff base ligand (HL) was prepared via a condensation reaction of quinoline‐2‐carboxaldhyde with 2‐aminophenol in a molar ratio of 1:1. Its transition metal mixed ligand complexes with 1,10‐phenanthroline (1,10‐phen) as co‐ligand were also synthesized in a 1:1:1 ratio. HL and its mixed ligand complexes were characterized using elemental analysis, infrared, 1H NMR, mass and UV–visible spectroscopies, molar conductance, magnetic measurements, solid reflectance, thermal analysis, electron spin resonance and X‐ray diffraction. Molar conductance measurements showed that all complexes have an electrolytic nature, except Cd(II) complex. From elemental and spectral data, the formulae [M(L)(1,10‐phen)(H2O)]Clx?nH2O (where M = Cr(III) (x = n = 2), Mn(II) and Ni(II) (x = 1, n = 2), Fe(III) (x = n = 2), Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) (x = 1, n = 2)) and [Cd(L)(1,10‐phen)Cl]?3H2O for the metal complexes have been proposed. The geometric structures of complexes were found to be octahedral. Powder X‐ray diffraction reflected the crystalline nature of the complexes; however, the Schiff base is amorphous. HL and its mixed ligand complexes were screened against Gram‐positive bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae and Bacillus subtilis) and Gram‐negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli). Antifungal activity was determined against Aspergillus fumigatus and Candida albicans, the data showing that most complexes had activity less than that of the Schiff base while Mn(II), Fe(III) and Ni(II) complexes showed no significant antifungal activity. The anticancer activity of HL and its metal complexes was also studied against breast and colon cell lines. The metal complexes showed IC50 higher than that of HL, especially the Cu(II) complex which showed the highest IC50 against breast cell line.  相似文献

Also, 4-furylmethylene-2-phenyl-2-oxazolin-5-ones react with thiophenol, and/or thionaphthol to give the thiolester derivatives in one-pot synthesis. A copper metal–organic framework nanoparticles (Cu‐MOF‐NPs) synthesized via simple technique. The prepared Cu‐MOF‐NPs nanoparticles were further characterized using 1H‐NMR, FE‐SEM/EDX and thermal study (DSC/TGA). The FE‐SEM/EDX, thermal analysis, and NMR spectrum data with the other analysis support the nano‐Cu‐MOF structure and the monomeric unit (n[Cu (AIP)2(APY)(H2O)2].4H2O) of Cu‐MOF‐NPs. The photoluminescence (PL) studies of triiodothyronine hormone (T3) based on the prepared Cu‐MOF‐NPs investigated. The results revealed that the Cu‐MOF‐NPs might be used as a biosensor in the determination of triiodothyronine hormone (T3) in biological fluids through a significant quenching of the photoluminescence intensity of Cu‐MOF‐NPs at excitation wavelength 492 nm. The calibration plot achieved over the concentration range 0.0–200.0 ng/dL T3 hormone with a correlation coefficient 0.996 and limit of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) 0.198 and 0.60 ng/dL, respectively. The PL spectra are indicating that Cu‐MOF‐NPs has highly selective sensing properties for T3 hormone without interfering with other human many hormones types. This approach considered a promising analytical tool for early diagnosis of the cases of thyroid disease. The mechanism of quenching between the Cu‐MOF‐NPs, and T3 hormone studied. The mechanism was a dynamic type and obtained due to the energy transfer mechanism.  相似文献

Coordination compounds of Cu (II), Y (III), Zr (IV) and La (III) with the tetradentate Schiff base (H2L) obtained through the condensation of p‐phenylenediamine with salicylaldehyde under reflux conditions. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductance and also, with various spectroscopic techniques such as 1H NMR, UV–Vis., IR and XRD techniques. Electrolytic nature of complexes was ascertained by molar conductance values. In these four complexes, the ligand chelates act in a tetradentate manner via azomethine nitrogen and oxygen atoms of phenolic groups. Electronic spectroscopic data are in agreement with an octahedral geometrical structure. Thermal degradation analyses in nitrogen gas were used to investigate the number and location of water molecules. The chemical formulae of metal complexes were confirmed by microanalytical data. The activation thermodynamic parameters, such as, E*, ΔH*, ΔS* and ΔG* were calculated from the DTG curves using Coats Redfern (CR) and Horowitz–Metzeger (HM) methods at n = 1 or n ≠ 1. Nematicidal activities indicate that the ligand exhibit greater activity when compared to its complexes. In addition metal complexes displayed good moderate nematicidal activities.  相似文献
