 National measurement systems are infrastructures to ensure, for each nation, a consistent and internationally recognised basis for measurement. Such complex systems have historical, technical, legal, organisational and institutional aspects to connect scientific metrology with practical measurements. Underlying any valid measurement is a chain of comparisons linking the measurement to an accepted standard. The ways the links are forged and the etalons (measurement standards) to which they connect are defining characteristics of all measurement systems. This is often referred to as traceability which aims at basing measurements in common measurement units – a key issue for the integration of quantitative chemical analysis with the evolving physical and engineering measurement systems. Adequate traceability and metrological control make possible new technical capabilities and new levels of quality assurance and confidence by users in the accuracy and integrity of quantitative analytical results. Traceability for chemical measurements is difficult to achieve and harder to demonstrate. The supply of appropriate etalons is critical to the development of metrology systems for chemical analysis. An approach is suggested that involves the development of networks of specialised reference laboratories able to make matrix-independent reference measurements on submitted samples, which may then be used as reference materials by an originating laboratory using its practical measurement procedures. This paper provides a rigorous proof of the existence of an infinite number of black hole solutions to the Einstein-Yang/Mills equations with gauge groupSU(2), for any event horizon. For atmospheric purposes, the N2- and O2-, or Air-broadenings of selected transitions of ozone have been investigated in the 195-300 K temperature range. More precisely, the following 13 transitions in the 280-345 GHz frequency range have been studied: the 22,0 ← 21,1 (279.5 GHz), 242,22 ← 241,23 (286.2 GHz), 32,2 ← 31,3 (286.3 GHz), 52,4 ← 51,5 (293.2 GHz), 134,10 ← 143,11 (300.7 GHz), 140,14 ← 131,13 (301.8 GHz), 72,6 ← 71,7 (303.2 GHz), 262,24 ← 261,25 (315.9 GHz), 53,3 ← 62,4 (317.2 GHz), 201,19 ← 200,20 (320.0 GHz), 266,20 ← 275,23 (343.2 GHz), 262,24 ← 253,23 (343.2 GHz), and 43,1 ← 52,4 (343.5 GHz) lines. Systematic errors are known to be the principal error source and recent intercomparisons of line-broadening coefficients showed differences up to 20%, thus a large effort in minimizing systematic error sources has been taken and cross check measurements with different techniques have been carried out. The conclusion of the intercomparison performed indicates an excellent agreement of the results and that an uncertainty less than 3%, which also takes into account the systematic errors, can be claimed for the line-broadening parameters.  相似文献

Optical properties of Fe-doped silica films on Si were investigated by ellipsometric technique in the region 1-5 eV. Samples were produced by sol-gel method. Precursors were prepared by mixing tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) solution in ethanol and water with aqueous solution of Fe-chloride or Fe-acetate. The coating solution was deposited on Si substrates by spin on technique. The size of Fe-containing nanometric-sized particles depended on technology and varied from 20 to 100 nm. Optical response of complex hybrid samples SiO2:Fe/Si was interpreted in a multi-layer model. In the inverse problem, the Maxwell equations were solved by transfer matrix technique. Dielectric function of Fe-doped silica layers was calculated in the model of effective media. Analysis of optical data has shown that various Fe-oxides formed. Experimental data for films obtained from precursors with Fe-acetate and annealed in hydrogen were well described by the model calculations taking into account a small contribution 1-5% of metal Fe imbedded in silica. The Fe/Fe-O contribution to optical response increased for samples grown from FeCl3-precursor. Ellipsometric data for Fe-doped silica films on Si were interpreted taking into account the structural AFM studies as well as the results of magnetic measurements.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to consider the Korteweg–de Vries equation in a finite interval with a very weak localized dissipation namely the H?1‐norm. Our main result says that the total energy decays locally uniform at an exponential rate. Our analysis improves earlier works on the subject (Q. Appl. Math. 2002; LX (1):111–129; ESAIM Control Optim. MgB2/Fe wires were prepared by electrical self-heating of in situ powder-in-tube wires for the first time at ambient conditions. Characterization of the wires processed at 750 °C, 800 °C and 850 °C for 15 min by XRD, SEM, ϱ–T, susceptibility and JC measurements shows that the MgB2 formed is of high quality particularly with respect to phase purity and transport JC. The method considerably reduces the overall energy consumption vis-à-vis the production cost, simplifies the complexity of the fabrication procedure and is promising for manufacture of high-quality MgB2 superconducting wires. This paper discusses a number of issues relating to the analysis of uncertain systems or data in the context of (low-frequency) structural dynamics. In order to illustrate potential problems in applying ‘classical’ uncertainty analysis methods to nonlinear systems, a simple nonlinear system is simulated and the breakdown of two standard approaches is demonstrated on data from the system. By relaxing the requirements of the analysis, it is shown that an alternative uncertainty theory gives useful qualitative information about the system. This motivates a discussion of how uncertainty frameworks should be chosen to suit the problem in hand and leads to a clustering of uncertainty problems in structural dynamics into three types: quantification, fusion and propagation.  相似文献

In experiments on the parametrical amplification of femtosecond pulses in wide-aperture DKDP crystals, a power of more than 100 TW has been reached, which is much higher than the record level achieved in such lasers. The energy efficiency obtained for the parametric amplifier is equal to 27%. The energy of a 72-fs pulse is equal to 10 J.  相似文献
