The structures of isobutene and 2,3-dimethyl-2-butene have been studied by gas electron diffraction. For isobutene the rotational constants obtained by Laurie by microwave spectroscopy have also been taken into account. Leastsquares analyses have given the following rg bond distances and valence angles (rav for isobutene and rα for dimethylbutene): for isobutene, r(CC) = 1.342±0.003 Å, r(C-C)= 1.508±0.002Å, r(C-H, methyl) = 1.119±0.007 Å, r(C-H, methylene) = 1.095±0.020 Å, ∠(C-CC) = 122.2±0.2°, ∠(H-C-H) = 107.9±0.8°, and ∠(C-C-H) 121.3±1.5°; for dimethylbutene, r(CC)= 1.353 ±0.004 Å, r(C-C) = 1.511±0.002 Å, r(C-H) = 1.118± 0.004 Å, ∠(C-CC)= 123.9±0.5°, and ∠(H-C-H)= 107.0±1.0°, where the uncertainties represent estimated limits of experimental error. The bond distances and valence angles in these molecules and in related molecules are compared with one another. The CC and C-C bond distances increase almost regularly with the number of methyl groups, and the C-C bonds in isobutene and dimethylbutene are shorter than those in acetaldehyde and acetone by about 0.01 Å. The methanol extract of the seeds of Phytolacca americana was reinvestigated to yield three new 1,4-benzodioxane-type compounds, americanoic acid methyl ester (1), isoamericanoic acid A methyl ester (2), and 9'-O-methylamericanol A (3) along with the previously isolated neolignans 6-9. The structures of 1-3 were characterized by 2D NMR and long-range selective proton-decoupling (LSPD) techniques. The neuritogenic effects of compounds 1-3, and dicarboxilic acids 4 and 5, which had been previously synthesized with horseradish peroxidase-catalyzed oxidative coupling of caffeic acid, were examined in primary cultured rat cortical neurons. Americanoic acid A methyl ester (1) exhibited neurite outgrowth-promoting activity at concentration of 0.01-1.0 microM, whereas dicarboxilic acids 4 and 5 were found to induce neuritogenesis dose dependently at the concentrations from 0.1 microM to 10 microM. 相似文献

New five seven-membered vibsane-type diterpenes named 5-epi-vibsanin C, 5-epi-vibsanin H, 5-epi-vibsanin K, 18-O-methyl-5-epi-vibsanin K and 5-epi-vibsanin E have been isolated from the leaves of Viburnum awabuki (Caplifoliaceae). Their structures have been elucidated by analyses of spectroscopic data and comparison of their spectral data with those of the previously known seven-membered vibsane-type diterpenes. The occurrence of these seven-membered vibsane-type diterpenes with a cis relationship on the C-5 and C-10 positions in nature have been predicted by conformational analysis of vibsanin B, an eleven-membered vibsane-type diterpene. Cyclic esters of adipic acid, suberic acid and sebacic acid were prepared by reaction of the acid dichlorides and pyrocatechol or hydroquinone in benzene under high dilution conditions. While only the cyclic dimers could be obtained from hydroquinone, pyrocatechol formed cyclic monomers as well as cyclic dimers (and also a cyclic dimer with succinic acid). The structure of all compounds was confirmed by1H-NMR- and mass spectra. The crystal structures of the pyrocatechol esters were determined by single crystal X-ray analysis.

Zusammenfassung Es wurden cyclische Ester von Adipinsäure, Korksäure und Sebacinsäure durch Reaktion der entsprechenden Säure-Dichloride mit Brenzcatechin oder Hydrochinon bei hoher Verdünnung hergestellt. Während mit Hydrochinon lediglich die cyclischen Dimeren erhalten werden konnten, wurden mit Brenzcatechin sowohl cyclische Monomere als auch cyclische Dimere erhalten (ebenfalls das cyclische Dimer mit Bernsteinsäure). The chiral separation of trimetoquinol hydrochloride, which is a bronchodilator (Inolin), and three related compounds by micellar electrokinetic chromatography was investigated using a bile salt as a chiral surfactant. Enantiomers of these compounds, except laudanosoline, were successfully separated within 12 min using a separation tube of effective length 500 mm × 0.05 rum i.d. and a 0.05 M sodium taurodeoxycholate solution of pH 7.0. The observed theoretical plate numbers of the peaks were ca. 150000. Chiral recognition was affected by the structure of bile salts, the pH of the buffer solutions used and the structure of the solutes. Of four kinds of bile salts, successful chiral separation was achieved only using sodium taurodeoxycholate solution under neutral conditions. The method was applied to the optical purity determination of trimetoquinol hydrochloride.
