In this research paper, an eco-friendly extraction process of dyes from Vicia faba L. membranes was developed. In this regard, the influence of independent process factors like the weight of material, the extraction time, the temperature and the sodium hydroxide concentration on the natural dye extraction from Vicia faba membranes was investigated. The optimisation of the extraction conditions and the effect evaluation of the different operating parameters were carried out using a Box–Behnken design under response surface methodology. The optimum conditions were found to be 66 °C, 90 min, 5 g and 0.1628 mol·L?1 for extraction temperature, time, mass of the material and sodium hydroxide concentration, respectively. The efficiency of this extraction process under these optimum conditions was evaluated by measuring the total phenolic content (TPC), the total flavonoid content and the relative colour yield (K/S). In these operating conditions, good fastness ratios were observed for the dyed fabrics.  相似文献

The qualitative and quantitative analysis of soil samples collected from Sialkot, Pakistan (which contains leather industrial plants), has been performed using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) and laser ablation time of flight mass spectrometry (LA-TOF-MS). The focused beam of a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser (532?nm) was used to ablate the soil samples in air at atmospheric pressure. The optical emission spectra demonstrate the presence of the spectral lines of Si, Fe, Al, Ca, Ti, K, Cr, Mg, Na, Ba, and Li in all of the samples. The emission lines intensities, electron number densities, and excitation temperatures were significantly enhanced in the presence of an external 0.3 T magnetic field applied perpendicular to the plasma plume. A maximum enhancement factor of approximately 8 was observed in the emission intensity. The emergence of several additional lines has also been detected using the magnetic field-assisted LIBS approach. The elemental composition determined using calibration-free laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (CF-LIBS), with and without magnetic field, reveals that the external magnetic field only adjusts the laser-generated plasma dynamics without affecting the quantitative analysis of the samples. Importantly, the toxic and heavy elements such as chromium and barium were detected and quantified in all of the soil samples by both of these techniques. The variations in the compositional analysis using CF-LIBS with and without the applied magnetic field and LA-TOF-MS were less than 10%.  相似文献

Piperazine-based dithiocarbamates serve as important scaffolds for numerous pharmacologically active drugs. The current study investigates the design and synthesis of a series of dithiocarbamates with a piperazine unit as well as their biological activities. Under ultrasound conditions, the corresponding piperazine-1-carbodithioates 5a–5j were synthesized from monosubstituted piperazine 2 and N-phenylacetamides 4a–4j in the presence of sodium acetate and carbon disulfide in methanol. The structures of the newly synthesized piperazines were confirmed, and their anti-lung carcinoma effects were evaluated. A cytotoxic assay was performed to assess the hemolytic and thrombolytic potential of the synthesized piperazines 5a–5j. The types of substituents on the aryl ring were found to affect the anticancer activity of piperazines 5a–5j. Piperazines containing 2-chlorophenyl (5b; cell viability = 25.11 ± 2.49) and 2,4-dimethylphenyl (5i; cell viability = 25.31 ± 3.62) moieties demonstrated the most potent antiproliferative activity. On the other hand, piperazines containing 3,4-dichlorophenyl (5d; 0.1%) and 3,4-dimethylphenyl (5j; 0.1%) rings demonstrated the least cytotoxicity. The piperazine with the 2,5-dimethoxyphenyl moiety (5h; 60.2%) showed the best thrombolytic effect. To determine the mode of binding, in silico modeling of the most potent piperazine (i.e., 5b) was performed, and the results were in accordance with those of antiproliferation. It exhibits a similar binding affinity to PQ10 and an efficient conformational alignment with the lipophilic site of PDE10A conserved for PQ10A.  相似文献

In this article, we apply the concept of m-polar fuzzy sets in labeling graphs and introduce the concept of m-polar fuzzy labeling graphs. We present properties of m-polar fuzzy labeling cycle and m-polar fuzzy labeling with bridge and cut nodes. We introduce several different types of distances, including w-distance, strongest strong distance, strong geodesic distance, \(\delta \)-distance in m-polar fuzzy labeling graph and investigate some of their properties. Protective coatings for harsh environments are always welcome, but they must overcome profound challenges, including corrosion and wear resistance. The purpose of this study is to look into the long-term potentiodynamic polarization measurements and dry tribometric behavior of plasma-sprayed amorphous coatings on AISI 1035 mild steel. To investigate the impact of unique active polarization potentials on the electrochemical studies of the iron-based amorphous layer, which compares favorably to AISI 1035 mild steel, the active potential polarization curve and friction coefficient tests were performed. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive x-ray (EDX) analyses were used to investigate the coating’s corrosion behavior. Their mechanical (Tribometric tests at higher sliding speeds) and chemical properties (electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization investigations) have also been thoroughly investigated. There is enough validation that these protective coatings can be used in hostile environments. The effects of long-term corrosion for 24 and 48 h were thoroughly examined. Tribometric examinations revealed that amorphous layers are highly resistant under dry conditions, as they offered a very low and stable friction coefficient less than 4 μ with micro Vickers hardness 1140 ± 22.14 HV, which is more than twice as compared to mild steel AISI 1035. The corrosion resistance of coatings in 3.5 wt % NaCl solution displays active transition characteristics of activation, passivation, over passivation, and pitting, as shown by the potentiodynamic polarization curves.  相似文献

Composite films of TiN/Ni3N/a-Si3N4 were synthesized using the Mather-type plasma focus device with varying numbers of focus deposition shots (5, 15, and 25) at 0° and 10° angular positions. The composition and structural analysis of these films were analyzed by using Rutherford backscattering (RBS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscope were used to study the surface morphology of films. XRD patterns confirm the formation of composite TiN/Ni3N/a-Si3N4 films. The crystallite size of TiN (200) plane is 11 and 22 nm, respectively, at 0° and 10° angular positions for same 25 focus deposition shots. Impurity levels and thickness were measured using RBS. Scanning electron microscopy results show the formation of net-like structures for multiple focus shots (5, 15, and 25) at angular positions of 0° and 10°. The average surface roughness of the deposited films increases with increasing focus shots. The roughness of the film decreases at higher angle 10° and the films obtained are smoother as compared with the films deposited at 0° angular positions.  相似文献

Due to its excellent bioactivity profile, which is increasingly utilized in pharmaceutical and synthetic chemistry, spirooxindole is an important core scaffold. We herein describe an efficient method for the construction of highly functionalized new spirooxindolocarbamates via a gold-catalyzed cycloaddition reaction of terminal alkynes or ynamides with isatin-derived ketimines. This protocol has a good functional group compatibility, uses readily available starting materials, mild reaction conditions, low catalyst loadings and no additives. It enables the transformation of various functionalized alkyne groups into cyclic carbamates. Gram-scale synthesis was achieved and DFT calculations verify the feasibility of the mechanistic proposal. Some of the target products exhibit good to excellent antiproliferative activity on human tumor cell lines. In addition, one of the most active compounds displayed a remarkable selectivity towards tumor cells over normal ones.  相似文献
