Unstable particles, together with their stable decay products, constitute probability collectives that are defined as Hilbert spaces with dimension higher than one, nondecomposable in a particle basis. Their structure is considered in the framework of Birkhoff-von Neumann's Hilbert subspace lattices. Bases with particle states are related to bases with a diagonal scalar product by a Hilbert-bein involving the characteristic decay parameters (in some analogy to the n-bein structures of metrical manifolds). Probability predictions as expectation values, involving unstable particles, have to take into account all members of the higher dimensional collective. For example, the unitarity structure of the S-matrix for an unstable particle collective can be established by a transformation with its Hilbert-bein.  相似文献

Background  

Propriospinal neurons, with axonal projections intrinsic to the spinal cord, have shown a greater regenerative response than supraspinal neurons after axotomy due to spinal cord injury (SCI). Our previous work focused on the response of axotomized short thoracic propriospinal (TPS) neurons following a low thoracic SCI (T9 spinal transection or moderate spinal contusion injury) in the rat. The present investigation analyzes the intrinsic response of cervical propriospinal neurons having long descending axons which project into the lumbosacral enlargement, long descending propriospinal tract (LDPT) axons. These neurons also were axotomized by T9 spinal injury in the same animals used in our previous study.  相似文献

The SuperNEMO experiment is being designed to search for neutrinoless double beta decay. Its experimental technique of tracking and calorimetry provides the means to discriminate different underlying mechanisms for neutrinoless double beta decay by measuring the angular and energy distributions of electrons. The results of a study by the SuperNEMO Collaboration and F. Deppisch (in preparation) [7] for identifying light Majorana neutrino exchange and right-handed currents are presented.  相似文献

The development of cost-effective and low-temperature synthesis techniques for the growth of high-quality zinc oxide thin films is paramount for fabrication of ZnO-based optoelectronic devices, especially ultraviolet (UV)-light-emitting diodes, lasers and detectors. We demonstrate that the properties, especially UV emission, observed at room temperature, of electrodeposited ZnO thin films from chloride medium (at 70 °C) on fluor-doped tin oxide (FTO) substrates is strongly influenced by the post-growth thermal annealing treatments. X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements show that the films have preferably grown along (0 0 2) direction. Thermal annealing in the temperature range of 150-400 °C in air has been carried out for these ZnO thin films. The as-grown films contain chlorine which is partially removed after annealing at 400 °C. Morphological changes upon annealing are discussed in the light of compositional changes observed in the ZnO crystals that constitute the film. The optical quality of ZnO thin films was improved after post-deposition thermal treatment at 150 °C and 400 °C in our experiments due to the reducing of defects levels and of chlorine content. The transmission and absorption spectra become steeper and the optical bandgap red shifted to the single-crystal value. These findings demonstrate that electrodeposition have potential for the growth of high-quality ZnO thin films with reduced defects for device applications.  相似文献

玉米根系在生长过程中向根际分泌蛋白质类大分子物质。采用双向聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳-质谱技术,一维液相色谱-质谱联用(LC/MS)和Shotgun三种不同鉴定方法对无菌条件收集的玉米根系分泌蛋白进行了分离、分析与鉴定,对3种鉴定方法在分泌蛋白分析中的应用做了详细阐述和比较。结果表明,双向电泳通过银染可以看到200个蛋白质点,但由于蛋白量少,通过质谱无法对玉米根系分泌蛋白进行鉴定;用LC/MS鉴定得到了152个蛋白;用Shotgun技术鉴定得到了2 848个蛋白。LC/MS鉴定得到的蛋白全部出现在用Shotgun技术鉴定得到的2 848个蛋白中,后2种方法的结果可以互相验证。Shotgun技术具有更高的灵敏性,更适合对蛋白质浓度低、干扰物多的植物根分泌蛋白组进行鉴定,能够获得完整可靠的信息。  相似文献

This paper summarizes neutron dosimetry measurements made by the USF Physics Research Laboratory aboard US and Russian LEO spacecraft over the past 20 years using two types of passive detector. Thermal/resonance neutron detectors exploiting the 6Li(n,T) alpha reaction were used to measure neutrons of energies <1 MeV. Fission foil neutron detectors were used to measure neutrons of energies above 1 MeV. While originally analysed in terms of dose equivalent using the NCRP-38 definition of quality factor, for the purposes of this paper the measured neutron data have been reanalyzed and are presented in terms of ambient dose equivalent. Dose equivalent rate for neutrons <1 MeV ranged from 0.80 microSv/d on the low altitude, low inclination STS-41B mission to 22.0 microSv/d measured in the Shuttle's cargo bay on the highly inclined STS-51F Spacelab-2 mission. In one particular instance a detector embedded within a large hydrogenous mass on STS-61 (in the ECT experiment) measured 34.6 microSv/d. Dose equivalent rate measurements of neutrons >1 MeV ranged from 4.5 microSv/d on the low altitude STS-3 mission to 172 microSv/d on the ~6 year LDEF mission. Thermal neutrons (<0.3 eV) were observed to make a negligible contribution to neutron dose equivalent in all cases. The major fraction of neutron dose equivalent was found to be from neutrons >1 MeV and, on LDEF, neutrons >1 MeV are responsible for over 98% of the total neutron dose equivalent. Estimates of the neutron contribution to the total dose equivalent are somewhat lower than model estimates, ranging from 5.7% at a location under low shielding on LDEF to 18.4% on the highly inclined (82.3 degrees) Biocosmos-2044 mission.  相似文献

For the problem of estimating the natural parameter of a p-dimensional exponential family, a characterization of regular limits of Bayes procedures is obtained which generalizes results of Sacks [14], Brown [3], and Berger and Srinivasan [1]. The form is deduced under regularity conditions for the loss function which are more general than squared error. As a corollary it is then stated that the class of procedures with this form is a complete class. The parameter space may be open, and when it is closed, the limits of Bayes procedures are generalized Bayes.  相似文献

A large number of new millimeter-wave spectral lines of gaseous acetaldehyde have been measured at frequencies up to 250 GHz. These lines arise from rotational transitions of acetaldehyde in its two lowest (vt = 0,1) torsional states and involve angular momentum quantum numbers J ≤ 12 and K ≤ 10. A global data set consisting of 562 lines has been obtained by combining the millimeter-wave lines with previously measured lower frequency data involving the two lowest torsional states. This data set has been analyzed via an internal axis method previously used to study the spectra of CH3OH and CH3SH. The root-mean-square deviation of the fit is only 685 kHz. An analogous least-squares fit to 335vt = 0 lines yields a root-mean-square deviation of 269 kHz.  相似文献
