The first nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions between fluoroarenes and aryl organometallics using commercially available ligands are described. The nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions between aryl Grignard reagents and fluoroazines and -diazines occurred in THF at room temperature using commercially available 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane, or 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene as ligand. Various fluoro substrates such as pyridines, diazines (pyrazine, pyridazine), benzodiazines (quinoxaline), and quinolines were successfully involved in the reaction with phenylmagnesium halides (phenylmagnesium chloride, 2-methoxyphenylmagnesium bromide, and 4-methoxyphenylmagnesium bromide). The conditions used also allowed the cross-coupling of 4-fluorotoluene with arylmagnesium reagents.  相似文献

Summary Waste waters of film processing plants are rich with silver. Part of the silver is regenerated electrochemically, but the rest (0.5 g) remains in waste waters and is sent to sewers. This is a bad politic from both the environmental (toxic waste waters) and the economical point of view (a waste of silver). In this work, the silver was isolated by ion-exchange resins and then concentrated by microorganisms. For exchange of silver, Ionenaustauscher I, II and IV were used. The batch method was used to obtain a static equilibrium. Silver elution from exchangers is based on silver transformation to a stable cation or anion complex. By varying the ligands, pH and eluent concentrations, optimum elution is found at 1 mol/l Na2S2O3, 1 mol/l NH3, 2 mol/l HNO3 and 1 mol/l (NH2)2CO. The concentration of silver in the eluent is about 50 mg/l. The silver ion uptake from solutions after ion exchange by mixed bacterial culture isolated from photographic waste water drain and pure bacterial cultures Escherichia coli 3009 and Bacillus subtilis 3053. was studied. Experiments were carried out in submerse culture at pH 7 with different Ag+ concentrations (4, 8 and 40 mg/l) on a rotary shaker (100 rpm) at 37°C. At the lower Ag+ concentrations a good growth and simultaneous removal of Ag+ from the solutions was achieved. At Ag+ concentration of 40 mg/l growth and removal of Ag+ by mixed and pure culture differed significantly. Thus mixed bacterial culture grew well and at the same time removed efficiently Ag+ (approximately 90%) from medium. Pure bacterial cultures on the contrary were unable to grow at 40 mg/l Ag+, though their biomass showed to be an effective biosorbent for Ag+ (approximately 80% of Ag+ removal).  相似文献

An interface for a high-performance liquid chromatographic system based on the Commodore 64 personal computer has been designed as an alternative to the expensive and somewhat inflexible solvent programmers and data acquisition systems offered by commercial manufacturers. The system consists of the Commodore 64 with a single disk drive and monitor, and an interface that directly controls the flow-rates of two Waters pumps for solvent delivery in either isocratic or gradient mode, as well as analog-to-digital conversion of chromatographic data and either graphic data output to a dot-matrix printer or digital-to-analog conversion for output to a chart recorder. The interface permits computer-controlled flow-rates of up to 10.0 ml/min, with an accuracy of 0.0047 ml/min at flow-rates of 4.1 ml/min and an accuracy of 0.03 ml/min at flow-rates of 10 ml/min. The software for data analysis permits tabulation of elution times and areas for the peaks in a chromatogram with an option for baseline correction. The data are stored on floppy disks together with information pertinent to the chromatogram (flow-rate, solvent composition, etc.).  相似文献

In continuation of a recent study of the electronic structure of norbornane [J. Chem. Phys., 2004, 121, 10525] by means of electron momentum spectroscopy (EMS), we present Green's Function calculations of the ionization spectrum of this compound at the ADC(3) level using basis sets of varying quality, along with accurate evaluations at the CCSD(T) level of the vertical (26.5 eV) and adiabatic (22.1 eV) double ionization thresholds under C(2v) symmetry. The obtained results are compared with newly recorded ultraviolet photoemission spectra (UPS), up to binding energies of 40 eV. The theoretical predictions are entirely consistent with experiment and indicate that, in a vertical depiction of ionization, shake-up states at binding energies larger than approximately 26.5 eV tend to decay via emission of a second electron in the continuum. A band of s-type symmetry that has been previously seen at approximately 25 eV in the electron impact ionization spectra of norbornane is entirely missing in the UPS measurements and theoretical ADC(3) spectra. With regard to these results and to the time scales characterizing electron-electron interactions in EMS (10(-17) s) as compared with that (10(-13) s) of photon-electron interactions in UPS, and considering the p-type symmetry of the electron momentum distributions for the nearest 1b(1) and 1b(2) orbitals, this additional band can certainly not be due to adiabatic double ionization processes starting from the ground electronic state of norbornane, or to exceptionally strong vibronic coupling interactions between cationic states derived from ionization of the latter orbitals. It is therefore tentatively ascribed to autoionization processes via electronically excited and possibly dissociating states.  相似文献

2-Trifluoroacetyl-4,5-dihydrofurans were obtained by manganese(III) acetate mediated radical cyclization of trifluoromethyl-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds (1a-c) with conjugated alkenes (2a-h). The reaction of 1,1,1-trifluoropentane-2,4-dione (1a) with propenylbenzene and 1,1-diphenyl-1-butene surprisingly yielded 3-(dihydrofuran-2(3H)-ylidene)-1,1,1-trifluoroacetones besides 3-trifluoroacetyl-4,5-dihydrofurans.  相似文献

A new class of nonpeptidic inhibitors of the ZnII‐dependent metalloprotease neprilysin with IC50 values in the nanomolar activity range (0.034–0.30 μM ) were developed based on structure‐based de novo design (Figs. 1 and 2). The inhibitors feature benzimidazole and imidazo[4,5‐c]pyridine moieties as central scaffolds to undergo H‐bonding to Asn542 and Arg717 and to engage in favorable ππ stacking interactions with the imidazole ring of His711. The platform is decorated with a thiol vector to coordinate to the ZnII ion and an aryl residue to occupy the hydrophobic S1′ pocket, but lack a substituent for binding in the S2′ pocket, which remains closed by the side chains of Phe106 and Arg110 when not occupied. The enantioselective syntheses of the active compounds (+)‐ 1 , (+)‐ 2 , (+)‐ 25 , and (+)‐ 26 were accomplished using Evans auxiliaries (Schemes 2, 4, and 5). The inhibitors (+)‐ 2 and (+)‐ 26 with an imidazo[4,5‐c]pyridine core are ca. 8 times more active than those with a benzimidazole core ((+)‐ 1 and (+)‐ 25 ) (Table 1). The predicted binding mode was established by X‐ray analysis of the complex of neprilysin with (+)‐ 2 at 2.25‐Å resolution (Fig. 4 and Table 2). The ligand coordinates with its sulfanyl residue to the ZnII ion, and the benzyl residue occupies the S1′ pocket. The 1H‐imidazole moiety of the central scaffold forms the required H‐bonds to the side chains of Asn542 and Arg717. The heterobicyclic platform additionally undergoes π‐π stacking with the side chain of His711 as well as edge‐to‐face‐type interactions with the side chain of Trp693. According to the X‐ray analysis, the substantial advantage in biological activity of the imidazo‐pyridine inhibitors over the benzimidazole ligands arises from favorable interactions of the pyridine N‐atom in the former with the side chain of Arg102. Unexpectedly, replacement of the phenyl group pointing into the deep S1′ pocket by a biphenyl group does not enhance the binding affinity for this class of inhibitors.  相似文献

A new class of nonpeptidic inhibitors of the malarial aspartic protease plasmepsin II (PMII) with up to single‐digit micromolar activities (IC50 values) was developed by structure‐based de novo design. The active‐site matrix used in the design was based on an X‐ray crystal structure of PMII, onto which the major conformational changes seen in the structure of renin upon complexation of 4‐arylpiperidines – including the unlocking of a new hydrophobic (flap) pocket – were modeled. The sequence identity of 35% between mature renin and PMII had prompted us to hypothesize that an induced‐fit adaptation around the active site as observed in renin might also be effective in PMII. The new inhibitors contain a central 11‐azatricyclo[6.2.1.02,7]undeca‐2(7),3,5‐triene core, which, in protonated form, undergoes ionic H‐bonding with the two catalytic Asp residues at the active site of PMII (Figs. 1 and 2). This tricyclic scaffold is readily prepared by a Diels? Alder reaction between an activated pyrrole and a benzyne species generated in situ (Scheme 1). Two substituents with naphthyl or 1,3‐benzothiazole moieties are attached to the central core (Schemes 14) for accommodation in the hydrophobic flap and S1/S3 (or S2′, depending on the optical antipode of the inhibitor) pockets at the active site of the enzyme. The most‐potent inhibitors (±)‐ 19a – 19c (IC50 3–5 μM ) and (±)‐ 23b (2 μM ) (Table) bear an additional Cl‐atom on the 1,3‐benzothiazole moiety to fully fill the rear of the flap pocket. Optimization of the linker between the tricyclic scaffold and the 1,3‐benzothiazole moiety, based on detailed conformational analysis (Figs. 3 and 4), led to a further small increase in inhibitory strength. The new compounds were also tested against other aspartic proteases. They were found to be quite selective against renin, while the selectivity against cathepsin D and E, two other human aspartic proteases, is rather poor (Table). The detailed SARs established in this investigation provide a valuable basis for the design of the next generations of more‐potent and ‐selective PMII inhibitors with potential application in a new antimalarial therapy.  相似文献

Summary The effect of hydrogen reduction on the structure and catalytic properties of “thin film”and “inverse”model systems for supported metal catalysts is discussed. Thin film model catalysts were obtained by epitaxial growth of Pt and Rh nanoparticles on NaCl(001), which were coated with amorphous or crystalline supports of alumina, silica, titania, ceria and vanadia. Structural and morphological changes upon hydrogen reduction between 473 and 973 K were examined by high resolution electron microscopy. Metal-oxide interaction sets in at a specific reduction temperature and is characterized by an initial “wetting”stage, followed by alloy formation at increasing temperature, in the order VOx< TiOx< SiO2< CeOx< Al2O3. “Inverse”model systems were prepared by deposition of oxides on a metal substrate, e.g. VOx/Rh and VOx/Pd. Reduction of inverse systems at elevated temperature induces subsurface alloy formation. In contrast to common bimetallic surfaces, the stable subsurface alloys of V/Rh and V/Pd have a purely noble metal-terminated surface, with V positioned in near-surface layers. The uniform composition of the metallic surface layer excludes catalytic ensemble effects in favor of ligand effects. Activity and selectivity, e.g. for CO and CO2methanation and for partial oxidation of ethene, are mainly controlled by the temperature of annealing or reduction. Reduction above 573 K turned out to be beneficial for the catalytic activity of the subsurface alloys, but not for the corresponding thin film systems which tend to deactivate viaparticle encapsulation.</o:p>  相似文献
