In the CAZy database, the α-amylase family GH13 has already been divided into 45 subfamilies, with additional subfamilies still emerging. The presented in silico study was undertaken in an effort to propose a novel GH13 subfamily represented by the experimentally characterized cyclomaltodxtrinase from Flavobacterium sp. No. 92. Although most cyclomaltodextrinases have been classified in the subfamily GH13_20. This one has not been assigned any GH13 subfamily as yet. It possesses a non-specified immunoglobulin-like domain at its N-terminus mimicking a starch-binding domain (SBD) and the segment MPDLN in its fifth conserved sequence region (CSR) typical, however, for the subfamily GH13_36. The searches through sequence databases resulted in collecting a group of 108 homologs forming a convincing cluster in the evolutionary tree, well separated from all remaining GH13 subfamilies. The members of the newly proposed subfamily share a few exclusive sequence features, such as the “aromatic” end of the CSR-II consisting of two well-conserved tyrosines with either glycine, serine, or proline in the middle or a glutamic acid succeeding the catalytic proton donor in the CSR-III. Concerning the domain N of the representative cyclomaltodextrinase, docking trials with α-, β- and γ-cyclodextrins have indicated it may represent a new type of SBD. This new GH13 subfamily has been assigned the number GH13_46.  相似文献

Domesticated international (standard) apple cultivars, together with resistant apple cultivars are the core of the Serbian apple production. Furthermore, autochthonous cultivars are characterized by a good adaptability to the local environmental conditions and represent a valuable source of genetic variability, as well as an important source of the gene pool for further breeding programs. Additionally, they show a higher phenolic content and a stronger antioxidant activity, in comparison to commercial cultivars. Therefore, they are more likely to be used as a functional food. The subjects of this study were seventeen samples of fruits and leaves from autochthonous apple cultivars, five international standard cultivars, and six resistant apple cultivars. The phenolic profile was determined using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), coupled with a diode array detector and a TSQ Quantum Access Max triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer. A total of twenty compounds were quantified in the samples. Most of the analyzed phenolics were detected in higher amounts in the peel, compared to the mesocarp. The results of the multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) indicate that 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid is present in the highest amount in the mesocarp, while in the peel and leaves, quercetin-glycosides were detected in the highest amount. According to the MANOVA: phloretin, phlorizin, 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid, kaempferol, and p-coumaric acid are present in significantly higher levels in the autochthonous cultivars, compared to the standard and resistant ones (in both fruits and leaves). Therefore, these compounds can be used as chemical tracers of the apple varietal origin.  相似文献

The experimental results on delayed-neutron yields from thermal-neutron-induced fission of some actinides in the IBR-2 pulsed reactor are presented. A method of periodic irradiation without displacement of the sample was used. The measurements of delayed-neutron total yields in thermal-neutron-induced fission of 239Pu, 233U, and 237Np and in cold-neutron-induced fission of 235U, 233U, and 239Pu were carried out. All values were obtained with the use of the value of β0 for (n th+235U) as a reference. Precise measurements of decay curves in the time interval 5–350 ms for 235U and 239Pu were performed.  相似文献

Vibrational excitation of SF6 by a 10.6 μm CO2 laser is shown to reduce lifetimes for SF6 dimers in supersonically expended flows. A possible utility of this phenomenon in controlling condensation rates to separate isotopes is discussed, and a kinetic analysis of the expected isotopic composition of SF6 in a supersonically expanded stream is presented.  相似文献

We address the applicability of the continuous-variables quantum key distribution in the realistic conditions of noisy preparation, channel loss and detection noise and investigate the possibility to increase its tolerance to the state preparation noise. The two types of preparation noise, either phase-sensitive or phase-insensitive excess noise, are considered in the assumption of optimal attacks performed by an eavesdropper within the setup based on the entangled source and either homodyne or heterodyne measurements. We show that preparation noise is destructive for the secure channel upon even low noise variances in the conditions of channel loss, while detection noise just decreases the key rate. We propose the method of sender-side attenuation to suppress the preparation noise in the entanglements-based scheme and show that it enables the secure key transmission upon arbitrary high preparation noise of both types and any pure channel loss against both individual and collective attacks.  相似文献

This study outlines antioxidant and anti-AChE activities of the polysaccharide (PSH) extract from the mushroom species Amanita strobiliformis. Both the presence of α and ß glucans within the aforementioned extract was recorded. PSH extract displayed a profound scavenging activity of OH radicals (IC50 value, 11.86 ± 0.59 μg/mL) and high potential for reduction of Fe3+ ions (174.11 ± 8.70 mg eq. AA/g d.w.) being almost 48- and 5-fold more effective than mannitol and butylated hydroxytoluene used as a positive control, respectively. Compared with galanthamine (0.001 μg), the same extract exhibited a moderate anti-AChE activity (10 μg) in solid. Since purified PSH extract exhibited higher bioactivity (IC50 value 7.27 ± 0.31 μg/mL, 197.68 ± 9.47 mg eq. AA/g d.w. and 0.1 μg, respectively), it can be predominantly ascribed to the polysaccharide compounds. A. strobiliformis PSH extract may be considered as a promising resource of potent bioactive polysaccharides of natural origin successfully addressing both oxidative stress and lack of acetylcholine.  相似文献
