Efficient solar energy conversion is strongly related to the development of new materials with enhanced functional properties. In this context, a wide variety of inorganic, organic, or hybrid nanostructured materials have been investigated. In particular, in hybrid organic–inorganic nanocomposites are combined the convenient properties of organic polymers, such as easy manipulation and mechanical flexibility, and the unique size-dependent properties of nanocrystals (NCs). However, applications of hybrid nanocomposites in photovoltaic devices require a homogeneous and highly dense dispersion of NCs in polymer in order to guarantee not only an efficient charge separation, but also an efficient transport of the carriers to the electrodes without recombination. In previous works, we demonstrated that cadmium thiolate complexes are suitable precursors for the in situ synthesis of nanocrystalline CdS. Here, we show that the soluble [Cd(SBz)2]2·(1-methyl imidazole) complex can be efficiently annealed in a conjugated polymer obtaining a nanocomposite with a regular and compact network of NCs. The proposed synthetic strategies require annealing temperatures well below 200 °C and short time for the thermal treatment, i.e., less than 30 min. We also show that the same complex can be used to synthesize CdS NCs in mesoporous TiO2. The adsorption of cadmium thiolate molecule in TiO2 matrix can be obtained by using chemical bath deposition technique and subsequent thermal annealing. The use of NCs, quantum dots, as sensitizers of TiO2 matrices represents a very promising alternative to common dye-sensitized solar cells and an interesting solution for heterogeneous photocatalysis.  相似文献

Reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography methodology for the determination of human prolactin (hPRL) in bacterial periplasmic space or in purified preparations has been developed. The technique, based on the high hydrophobicity of the hPRL molecule, allows its separation from the bulk of bacterial proteins. The precision for periplasmic shock fluid analysis was characterized by relative standard variations of 3-7% for intra-day and of 3-25% for inter-day determinations. Accuracy, evaluated by recovery tests, was of the order of 90%, a calibration curve being constructed with the use of a lyophilized osmotic shock fluid extract, which provided a stable, readily prepared internal reference. Sensitivity was of the order of 0.5 microg of hPRL. The methodology developed also provided a tool for comparing the hydrophobicity of glycosylated and non-glycosylated prolactin molecules obtained from several different species and of different preparations of native or biosynthetic human prolactin.  相似文献

Trimethylsilyldiazomethane has been found to add directly to N-sulfonyl (Ts and SES) imines to afford aziridines in good yields and high cis stereoselectivities. The silyl group can be substituted by treatment with a fluoride source and electrophiles again with high selectivity. Complete regioselectivity is observed in ring opening of these aziridines with nucleophiles.  相似文献

Stimulated emission at 3.435 eV in GaN at 80 K is reported. This emission is attributed to a cooperative excitonic process and is observed only in undoped samples. One and two photon optical pumping has been used and optical gain of about 103 cm-1 has been measured.  相似文献

We extend the technique of Cremmer et al. to couple arbitrary chiral multiplets with supersymmetric Yang-Mills interactions to N = 1 supergravity. We present the general form of the lagrangian and the detailed form of the scalar potential is spelled out. In the case of N chiral multiplets, “minimally” coupled to supergravity, we derive, in the absence of gauge interactions, a model-independent mass formula Supertrace M2 = ΣJ(?)2J(2J + 1)mJ2 = 2(N ? 1)m322, where m32 is the gravitino mass. A concrete example of the super Higgs effect involving N chiral multiplets is exhibited.  相似文献

Freudenthal duality, introduced in Borsten et al. (2009) [1] and defined as an anti-involution on the dyonic charge vector in d=4 space-time dimensions for those dualities admitting a quartic invariant, is proved to be a symmetry not only of the classical Bekenstein-Hawking entropy but also of the critical points of the black hole potential.Furthermore, Freudenthal duality is extended to any generalized special geometry, thus encompassing all N>2 supergravities, as well as N=2 generic special geometry, not necessarily having a coset space structure.  相似文献

We discuss the problem of localization of 4D massless states in Randall-Sundrum 2 (one-brane) models. A Randall-Sundrum 2 construction starting from N=8 gauged supergravity in 5D anti-de Sitter space gives rise to an N=4 supergravity-matter system. We explicitly show that only the modes of the N=4 graviton supermultiplet localize on the 4D brane, streamlining and generalizing previous works. We also point out that while charged 1/4 BPS black holes do exist in the 4D theory, they are always produced in sets of total charge zero. This zero-charge configuration uplifts to a 5D metric without naked singularities, thus avoiding the curvature singularity of the 5D uplift of an isolated charged BPS black hole. Finally, we resolve a puzzle with localization of massless high spin fields on a (putative) Randall-Sundrum 2 construction based on Vasiliev?s high spin theories. We show that while high spin fields do localize, the gauge symmetry that ensures decoupling of their unphysical polarizations is anomalous. This implies that the high spin fields must acquire a mass.  相似文献

Recently the thermostatted kinetic framework has been proposed as mathematical model for studying nonequilibrium complex systems constrained to keep constant the total energy. The time evolution of the distribution function of the system is described by a nonlinear partial integro-differential equation with quadratic type nonlinearity coupled with the Gaussian isokinetic thermostat. This paper is concerned with further developments of this thermostatted framework. Specifically the term related to the Gaussian thermostat is adjusted in order to ensure the conservation of even high-order moments of the distribution function. The derived framework that constitutes a new paradigm for the derivation of specific models in the applied sciences, is analytically investigated. The global in time existence and uniqueness of the solution to the relative Cauchy problem is proved. Existence and moments conservation of stationary solutions are also performed. Suitable applications and research perspectives are outlined in the last section of the paper.  相似文献
