The reactions of the title compounds with phenoxides, secondary alicyclic (SA) amines, and pyridines, in 44 wt% ethanol–water, at 25°C and an ionic strength of 0.2 M, were subjected to kinetic and product studies. From analytical techniques (HPLC and NMR), two pathways were detected (nucleophilic attack at the phosphoryl center and at the C‐1 aromatic carbon) for the reactions of all the nucleophiles with the phosphate ( 2 ) and for the pyridinolysis of the thionophosphate ( 1 ). Only aromatic nucleophilic substitution was found for the reactions of 1 with phenoxides and SA amines. For the dual reactions, the nucleophilic rate constants (kN) were separated in two terms: $k_{rm N}^{rm P}$ and $k_{rm N}^{{rm Ar}}$, which are the rate constants for the corresponding electrophilic centers. The absence of a break in the Brønsted‐type plots for the attack at P is consistent with concerted mechanisms. The Brønsted slopes, βAr 0.32–0.71, for the attack at the aromatic C‐1, are in agreement with stepwise mechanisms where formation of a Meisenheimer complex is the rate‐determining step. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this work, a series of 2-chalcogenylindoles was synthesized by an efficient methodology, starting from chalcogenoalkynes, including a previously unreported tellurium indole derivative. For the first time, these 2-substituted chalcogenylindoles were obtained in the absence of metal catalyst or base, under thermal conditions only. A 3 kb DNA fragment from the Streptomyces globisporus 1912 landomycin E (LaE) biosynthetic gene cluster (lnd) was completely sequenced. Three open reading frames were identified, lndGT4, lndZ4, and lndZ5, whose probable translation products resemble a glycosyltransferase, a reductase, and a hydroxylase, respectively. Studies of generated mutants from disruption and complementation experiments involving the lndGT4 gene allowed us to determine that LndGT4 controls the terminal L-rhodinose sugar attachment during LaE biosynthesis and that LndZ4/LndZ5 are responsible for the unique C11-hydroxylation of the landomycins. Generation of the novel landomycins F, G, and H in the course of these studies provided evidence for the flexibility of lnd glycosyltransferases toward their acceptor substrates and a basis for initial structure-activity relationships within the landomycin family of antibiotics. 相似文献

Data from theoretical, thermal, and spectroscopic methods were compared in order to map a possible mechanism for the thermal decomposition of furosemide, a diuretic compound, in solid state. TG/DTG curves suggested a two-stage decomposition process. The first product of decomposition is water (m/z = 18), released due to a dimerization resulting in the formation of an amide. Then carbon dioxide (m/z = 44), nitroxide (m/z = 30), and 2-methyl-furanyl ion (m/z = 81) are released in the second stage. The chlorine substituted benzene ring, due to the double bond conjugated system, being the last fraction to decompose. The performance of the optimized effective potential procedure for exact exchange in calculating static electric-field response properties of push-pull pi-conjugated systems has been studied, with an emphasis on NO2-(CH=CH)n-NH2 chains. Good agreement with Hartree-Fock dipole moments and (hyper)polarizabilities is obtained; particularly noteworthy is the chain length dependence for beta/n. Thus, the problem that conventional density-functional theory functionals dramatically overestimate these properties is largely solved, although there remains a significant correlation contribution that cannot be accounted for with current correlation functionals. 相似文献

The effect of the oxygen transfer coefficient on the production of xylitol by biocon version of xylose present in sugarcane

β-Carboline imine reductions mediated by Saccharomyces bayanus have been described achieving moderate to good enantiomeric excesses of the amine products. The enantiomeric excesses of the bioreduction showed a dependence on the imine substituents. Compounds presenting C1–C11 aliphatic substituent groups afforded amines with an (S)-configuration, whereas C15 and higher aliphatic- and aromatic-substituted β-carboline imines achieved inversion of the configuration in the final (R)-2 amine products. Excited‐state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) is a particularly well known reaction that has been very little studied in magnetic environments. In this work, we report on the photophysical behavior of a known ESIPT dye of the benzothiazole class, when in solution with uncoated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, and when grafted to silica‐coated iron oxide nanoparticles. Uncoated iron oxide nanoparticles promoted the fluorescence quenching of the ESIPT dye, resulting from collisions during the lifetime of the excited state. The assembly of iron oxide nanoparticles with a shell of silica provided recovery of the ESIPT emission, due to the isolation promoted by the silica shell. The silica network gives protection against the fluorescence quenching of the dye, allowing the nanoparticles to act as a bimodal (optical and magnetic) imaging contrast agent with a large Stokes shift. 相似文献
