1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy is employed to investigate the interaction of water with two imidazolium‐based ionic liquids (ILs), 1‐hexyl‐3‐methylimidazolium bromide ([C6mim]Br) and 1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium bromide ([C8mim]Br), at IL concentrations well above the critical aggregation concentration (CAC). The results are compared with those of the neat samples. To this aim, a detailed analysis of the changes in the 1H chemical shifts, 13C relaxation parameters, and 2D ROESY data due to the presence of water is performed. The results for both neat ILs are consistent with a packed structure where head‐to‐head, head‐to‐tail, and tail‐to‐tail contacts occur and where the site of maximal mobility restriction is at the polar head. At the lowest investigated water content, the presence of water influences mainly the environment around the IL polar head, slowing down the motional dynamics of the aromatic ring with respect to the alkyl chain. At higher water contents this difference diminishes, the motional freedom of the whole molecule increasing. The presence of ROESY cross‐peaks between protons in the polar and apolar IL regions, as well as between protons in non‐neighboring alkyl groups, at all investigated water contents suggests that the alkyl tails are not fully segregated in hydrophobic domains, as expected for micelle‐like structures.  相似文献

The topical anti-inflammatory activity of essential oil of Pistacia lentiscus L. was studied using carrageenan induced rat paw edema and cotton pellet induced granuloma. The effect on serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in rats inserted with cotton pellet was also investigated. On topical application, the oil exhibited a significant decrease in paw edema. The oil also inhibited cotton pellet-induced granuloma, and reduced serum TNF-alpha and IL-6. It can be concluded that the essential oil of Pistacia lentiscus reduces leukocyte migration to the damaged tissue and exhibits anti-inflammatory activity.  相似文献

The compositions of the essential oils isolated from the aerial parts of tree Mediterranean populations of Laurus nobilis L. collected during the flowering phase on Tunisia, Algeria and France, were studied by GC and GC-MS. The analysis has allowed identifying 54 components. The main components were 1,8-cineole, alpha-terpinyl acetate (10-18.6%), methyl eugenol (10-22.1%), sabinene (1.2-8%), eugenol (1.2-11.7%) alpha-pinene (tr-4.5%) and beta-pinene (0.4-4.2%). The monoterpene fraction was dominant in all the oils analysed and consisted mainly of oxygenated monoterpenes. The oils from the tree populations studied showed a clear chemical polymorphism. The principal component and the hierarchical cluster analyses separated the Laurus nobilis leaf essential oils into three groups.  相似文献

Aerial parts of wild Calamintha nepeta (L.) Savi subsp. nepeta growing spontaneously on the Mediterranean coast (Sardinia Island, Italy) and on the Atlantic coast (Portugal) were used as a matrix for the supercritical extraction of volatile oil with CO(2). The collected extracts were analysed by GC-FID and GC-MS methods and their compositions were compared with that of the essential oil isolated by hydrodistillation, but the differences were not relevant. A strong chemical variability was observed in the essential oils depending on the origin of the samples. The results showed the presence of two chemotypes of C. nepeta. In all Italian samples, pulegone, piperitenone oxide and piperitenone were the main components (64.4-39.9%; 2.5-19.1%; 6.4-7.7%); conversely, the oil extracted from Portuguese C. nepeta is predominantly composed of isomenthone (35.8-51.3%), 1,8-cineole (21.1-21.4%) and trans-isopulegone (7.8-6.0%). The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and the minimal lethal concentration (MLC) were used to evaluate the antifungal activity of the oils against Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis, Candida krusei, Candida guillermondii, Candida parapsilosis, Cryptococcus neoformans, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum, Epidermophyton floccosum, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus fumigatus and Aspergillus flavus. The Italian oil, rich in pulegone, exhibited significant antifungal activity against Aspergillus and dermatophyte strains, with MIC values of 0.32-1.25 μL mL(-1).  相似文献

The data available in the literature on thermodynamic properties concerning different oxaalkanes + tetrachloromethane mixtures are examined on the basis of the DISQUAC group contribution model. The obtained interaction parameters, dispersive and quasichemical, depend on the intramolecular environment of the O atom. The steric effect results in a regular decrease of the quasichemical interaction parameters of the oxygen/tetrachloromethane (e,d)-contact in linear ethers. The proximity effect of the O atoms generates lower coefficients in dioxaalkanes with respect to monooxaalkanes and because of the ring strain, being the quasichemical coefficients constant, the dispersive parameters in cyclic molecule are higher than in linear ethers.  相似文献

This Full Paper reports the formation of silver (Ag) NPs within spatially resolved two-component hydrogel beads, which combine a low-molecular-weight gelator (LMWG) DBS-CONHNH2 and a polymer gelator (PG) calcium alginate. The AgNPs are formed through in situ reduction of AgI, with the resulting nanoparticle-loaded gels being characterised in detail. The antibacterial activity of the nanocomposite gel beads was tested against two drug-resistant bacterial strains, often associated with hospital-acquired infections: vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium (VRE) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA14), and the AgNP-loaded gels showed good antimicrobial properties against both types of bacteria. It is suggested that the gel bead format of these AgNP-loaded hybrid hydrogels makes them promising versatile materials for potential applications in orthopaedics or wound healing.  相似文献

6-Arylthio and 6-arylselenoacyclonucleosides was synthesized and tested for the ability to inhibit replication of HIV-1. Lithiation of acyclonucleosides with LDA followed by reaction with the electrophiles phenyl disulfide, diphenyl diselenide, 2,2′-dipyrdyl disulfide or 2,2′-dipyridyl diselenide afforded 6-(arylthio or arylseleno)acyclonucleosides 5a-c, 6, 7, 9, 15a-c, 17a-c . Compounds 19a-c and 20a-c were obtained by deprotection of corresponding TBDMS derivatives. Dehydrated products 16a , and 18a-c were also formed during the reactions. 5-Ethyl-6-(α-pyridylthio or α-pyridylseleno) disubstituted acyclouracils 6 and 7 were more active against HIV-1 in both MT-2 and CEM-IW cell lines than AZT, DDC, DDI or D4T. The EC50 of 6 against HIV-1 in CEM-IW cell was in the nanomolar range with a therapeutic index of 1100.  相似文献
