The influences of UV light irradiation (313 nm) and diffused daylight on the polymerization of methyl acrylate initiated by the ceric ammonium nitrate without any reducing agent have been studied both in aqueous nitric acid and in pure water. The rate of polymerization was found to be accelerated and the overall activation energy and the induction time were found to be decreased sharply by the UV light irradiation. Under UV light, the rate of polymerization is 8 times as high as the rate in dark. The rate of polymerization was found to attain a maximum with the increase of nitric acid concentration and the rate of polymerization became less sensitive to UV light in the presence of nitric acid whereas the induction period reduced outstandingly. The photopolymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) initiated with phenyl hydrazine (PHZ) and its derivatives has been studied. The initiator exponent and monomer exponent were determined from the kinetic investigation to be 0.66th and 2.1th respectively and the overall activation energy was 33.4KJ/mol for the PHZ-AN system. Spectral analysis and other data indicate that a charge transfer complex between PHZ as a donor and AN as an aceeptor is formed. The initiation mechanism was proposed. 相似文献

A new peak at 39.0 ppm in the ~(13)C-NMR spectrum of polybutadiene (PBD) was discovered. This peak is assigned to the fourth peak (T_4) of trans-1,4-sequence marked with an asterisk as shown in Fig. 3 in the text.The occurrence of T_4 carbon nuclei is strongly affected by their neighboring 1,2-units. So long as both contents of trans-1,4- and 1,2-units attain their proper amounts the peak (T_4) with appear in the ~(13)C-NMR spectrum of PBD. 相似文献

The results of this study reveals not only the sensitivity of the compatibility of PS with SBR to the molecular weight (MW) of PS and temperature, but also some other interesting characteristics, i. e., unusual morphology change during the process of mixing with increase in temperature of specimen preparation observed under optical microscope and double-peak UCST curves for three blends with PS of low MW from DSC data.
