The title compounds, poly­[bis(2,2′‐bi­pyridine)­bis(μ3‐hydrogen phosphato)­nitratodi‐μ2‐oxo‐dicopper(II)­vanadium dihydrate], [Cu2(VO2)(HPO4)2(NO3)(C10H8N2)2]·2H2O, (I), and poly­[bis(2,2′‐bi­pyridine)­bis(μ3‐hydrogen phosphato)­nitratodi‐μ2‐oxo‐dicopper(II)­vanadium phospho­ric acid solvate], [Cu2(VO2)(HPO4)2(NO3)(C10H8N2)2]·H3PO4, (II), were obtained by similar hydro­thermal methods but under different crystallization conditions. The trinuclear entity which serves as the basic unit in both structures presents two independent CuII ions immersed in similar square‐pyramidal N2O3 environments plus an octahedral VO6 core and is organized into a one‐dimensional polymer, which is essentially identical in the two structures. The compounds are stabilized by different solvates, viz. two crystallization water mol­ecules in (I) and a phospho­ric acid mol­ecule in (II), which provide the main structural differences through the diversity of interchain interactions in which they serve as bridges.  相似文献

A coupled pair of nonlinear parabolic equations is derived for the two components of the particle motion perpendicular to the axis of a shear wave beam in an isotropic elastic medium. The equations account for both quadratic and cubic nonlinearity. The present paper investigates, analytically and numerically, effects of cubic nonlinearity in shear wave beams for several polarizations: linear, elliptical, circular, and azimuthal. Comparisons are made with effects of quadratic nonlinearity in compressional wave beams.  相似文献

Gallia–alumina (Ga,Al)2O3(x : y) spinel-type solid solution nanoparticle catalysts for propane dehydrogenation (PDH) were prepared with four nominal Ga : Al atomic ratios (1 : 6, 1 : 3, 3 : 1, 1 : 0) using a colloidal synthesis approach. The structure, coordination environment and distribution of Ga and Al sites in these materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption spectroscopy (Ga K-edge) as well as 27Al and 71Ga solid state nuclear magnetic resonance. The surface acidity (Lewis or Brønsted) was probed using infrared spectroscopy with pyridine and 2,6-dimethylpyridine probe molecules, complemented by element-specific insights (Ga or Al) from dynamic nuclear polarization surface enhanced cross-polarization magic angle spinning 15N{27Al} and 15N{71Ga} J coupling mediated heteronuclear multiple quantum correlation NMR experiments using 15N-labelled pyridine as a probe molecule. The latter approach provides unique insights into the nature and relative strength of the surface acid sites as it allows to distinguish contributions from Al and Ga sites to the overall surface acidity of mixed (Ga,Al)2O3 oxides. Notably, we demonstrate that (Ga,Al)2O3 catalysts with a high Al content show a greater relative abundance of four-coordinated Ga sites and a greater relative fraction of weak/medium Ga-based surface Lewis acid sites, which correlates with superior propene selectivity, Ga-based activity, and stability in PDH (due to lower coking). In contrast, (Ga,Al)2O3 catalysts with a lower Al content feature a higher fraction of six-coordinated Ga sites, as well as more abundant Ga-based strong surface Lewis acid sites, which deactivate through coking. Overall, the results show that the relative abundance and strength of Ga-based surface Lewis acid sites can be tuned by optimizing the bulk Ga : Al atomic ratio, thus providing an effective measure for a rational control of the catalyst performance.

Cyclic 6-membered aromatic compounds such as benzene and azabenzenes (pyridine, pyridazine, and pyrazine) are known to be light-sensitive, affording, in particular, the Dewar benzene type of intermediates. Pyridine is known to provide the only Dewar pyridine intermediate that undergoes reversible ring-opening. We found that irradiation of photosensitive gels prepared from poly(4-vinyl pyridine) and pyridine at 254 or 312 nm leads to pyridine ring-opening and subsequent formation of 5-amino-2,4-pentadienals. We show that this light-induced process is only partially reversible, and that the photogenerated aminoaldehyde and aminoaldehyde-pending groups undergo self-condensation to produce cross-linked, conjugated oligomers that absorb light in the visible spectrum up to the near-infrared range. Such a sequence of chemical reactions results in the formation of gel with two distinct morphologies: spheres and fiber-like matrices. To gain deeper insight into this process, we prepared poly(4-vinyl pyridine) with low molecular weight (about 2000 g/mol) and monitored the respective changes in absorption, fluorescence, 1H-NMR spectra, and electrical conductivity. The conductivity of the polymer gel upon irradiation changes from ionic to electronic, indicative of a conjugated molecular wire behavior. Quantum mechanical calculations confirmed the feasibility of the proposed polycondensation process. This new polyacetylene analog has potential in thermal energy-harvesting and sensor applications.  相似文献

We have studied the geometry dependency of fishnet-like negative refractive index meta-materials (NIMs), and developed a process to fabricate such NIMs using nanoimprint lithography (NIL) in a controlled way for it to achieve negative refractive index in the desired frequency range. As an example, we fabricated a fishnet structure with a minimum negative refractive index of −1.7 at 1560 nm, which was only 10 nm off the targeted wavelength of 1550 nm.  相似文献

Abstract

The quantum theory of renormalized energy spectrum of the system of localized two-level quasiparticle, with degenerated spectrum, interacting with polarization phonons, being the model of multilayered nanostructure, is developed within the modified Feynman-Pines diagram technique. Effectively taking into account the multi-phonon processes, the theory is valid in a wide range of energies which contains the main states and the satellite groups of energies produced by the resonant bound-to-phonons states of quasiparticle in the vicinity of the threshold energies of their radiation. The properties of renormalized spectrum of the system are analyzed and dependences of the widths of groups of energy levels (main and satellite) on the magnitudes of inter-level coupling constants are obtained.  相似文献

A protein-based emission ratiometric fluorescence biosensor is described that exhibits sensitivity to free zinc ion in solution down to picomolar concentrations. Ratiometric measurements are widely used to assure accurate quantitation, and emission ratios are preferred for laser scanning microscopes such as confocal fluorescence microscopes. The relatively long emission wavelengths used are well suited to studies in tissues and other matrices which exhibit significant fluorescence background, and the apo-carbonic anhydrase moiety recognizes zinc ion with high and controllable specificity.  相似文献

Cooperation is one of the socio-economic issues that has received more attention from the physics community. The problem has been mostly considered by studying games such as the Prisoner’s Dilemma or the Public Goods Game. Here, we take a step forward by studying cooperation in the context of crowd computing. We introduce a model loosely based on Principal-agent theory in which people (workers) contribute to the solution of a distributed problem by computing answers and reporting to the problem proposer (master). To go beyond classical approaches involving the concept of Nash equilibrium, we work on an evolutionary framework in which both the master and the workers update their behavior through reinforcement learning. Using a Markov chain approach, we show theoretically that under certain----not very restrictive—conditions, the master can ensure the reliability of the answer resulting of the process. Then, we study the model by numerical simulations, finding that convergence, meaning that the system reaches a point in which it always produces reliable answers, may in general be much faster than the upper bounds given by the theoretical calculation. We also discuss the effects of the master’s level of tolerance to defectors, about which the theory does not provide information. The discussion shows that the system works even with very large tolerances. We conclude with a discussion of our results and possible directions to carry this research further.  相似文献
