Global weak solutions of a strictly hyperbolic system of balance laws in one-space dimension were constructed (cf. Christoforou, 2006 Christoforou , C. ( 2006 ). Hyperbolic systems of balance laws via vanishing viscosity . J. Diff. Eq. 221 ( 2 ): 470541 . [CSA] [CROSSREF] [Crossref], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]) via the vanishing viscosity method under the assumption that the source term g is dissipative. In this article, we establish sharp estimates on the uniformly Lipschitz semigroup 𝒫 generated by the vanishing viscosity limit in the general case which includes also nonconservative systems. Furthermore, we prove uniqueness of solutions by means of local integral estimates and show that every “viscosity solution” can be constructed as a limit of vanishing viscosity approximations.  相似文献

The paper proposes a recursive algorithm for estimation of mixtures with state-space components and a dynamic model of switching. Bayesian methodology is adopted. The main features of the presented approach are: (i) recursiveness that enables a real-time performance of the algorithm; (ii) one-pass elaboration of the data sample; (iii) dynamic nature of the model of switching active components; (iv) orientation at explicit solutions with exploitation of numerical procedures only in those parts which cannot be computed analytically; (v) systematic approach to the Bayesian mixture estimation theory.  相似文献

Electronic structure and spin-related properties of CoI2/NiI2 heterostructure were studied by means of density functional theory. It was shown that the electronic structure at the Fermi level can be characterized by a band gap. The effect of the external electric field on charge transfer and electronic properties of the CoI2/NiI2 interface was investigated, and it was found that band gap width depends on the strength of the applied electric field, switching its nature from semiconducting to a half-metallic one. An easy control of the electronic properties and promising spin-polarized nature of the CoI2/NiI2 spinterface allows the heterostructure to be used in spin-related applications.  相似文献

A new polyamidoamine metallodendrimer modified with eight 1,8-naphthalimide units was synthesized. The Cu(II) complex has been investigated by EPR spectroscopy and it has shown that 17 copper ions have involved in the dendrimer complex. To confirm the presence of metallodendrimers on the cotton surface, scanning electron microscopy characterization has been used. In vitro antimicrobial activity of the metallodendrimer against different pathogens was investigated and compared to the dendrimer ligand free of copper ions. Both dendrimers were deposited on a cotton fabric and antibacterial activity of the treated cotton samples was investigated against model Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It has been shown that the studied dendrimers reduce bacterial growth and prevent the formation of biofilms. The metallodendrimer showed stronger antimicrobial and biofilm inhibiting abilities than those of the free of Cu(II) ions ligand.  相似文献

Summary: A novel coordination polymer[{Cu(en)2}(V10O28)]n · 2n[Cu(en)2(H2O)] · 2n(H3BO3) · 2n(H2O) was obtained by hydrothermal reaction. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system, in the C2/c space group, with a = 26.490 (3) Å; b = 11.6558 (11) Å; c = 19.8426 (19) Å; β = 124.011 (1)°; V = 5078.6(8) Å3. The solid structure is formed by polymeric chains, [Cu(en)2(H2O)]2+ cations, and boric acid and water solvate molecules, stabilized through a multiple hydrogen bond network.  相似文献

Summary: The search of new inorganic materials with better catalytic properties is an important field of research. Reusability, efficiency and atom economy correspond to the main parameters to characterize a catalyst. In this work, we inform the effectiveness of [Cu(H2btec)(bipy)] (H4btec = 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid) as an heterogeneous coordination polymer catalyst for the oxidation of olefins. The catalyst exhibits good atom economy, high turnover numbers and good selectivity for a ratio of 4000/1 substrate/catalyst for cyclohexene and styrene oxidation. Furthermore, the catalyst was recycled and reused for seven consecutive cycles, retaining the structural integrity and effectiveness as catalyst in all the performed experiments.  相似文献

The paper deals with recursive state estimation for hybrid systems. An unobservable state of such systems is changed both in a continuous and a discrete way. Fast and efficient online estimation of hybrid system state is desired in many application areas. The presented paper proposes to look at this problem via Bayesian filtering in the factorized (decomposed) form. General recursive solution is proposed as the probability density function, updated entry-wise. The paper summarizes general factorized filter specialized for (i) normal state-space models; (ii) multinomial state-space models with discrete observations; and (iii) hybrid systems. Illustrative experiments and comparison with one of the counterparts are provided.  相似文献

Cancer is a leading cause of mortality globally. Despite remarkable improvements in cancer-treatment approaches, disease recurrence and progression remain major obstacles to therapy. While chemotherapy is still a first-line treatment for a variety of cancers, the focus has shifted to the development and application of new approaches to therapy. Nevertheless, the relationship between immune response, neoplastic diseases and treatment efficiency is not fully understood. Therefore, the aim of the study was to investigate the immunopharmacological effects of methacrylic acid homopolymer in an in vivo tumor model. Materials and methods: Monomeric methacrylic acid was used to synthesize polymers. Methacrylic acid was polymerized in dioxane in the presence of 4-Cyano-4-[(dodecylsulfanylthiocarbonyl)sulfanyl]pentanoic acid. To study the molecular weight characteristics of PMAA by GPC, carboxyl groups were preliminarily methylated with diazomethane. An experimental cancer model was obtained by grafting RMK1 breast cancer cells. The serum levels of IL-6, IL-10, IL-17, transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1), and tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) were measured by ELISA. Results: The effect of PMAA on the serum concentrations of several cytokines was studied upon its single administration to laboratory animals in early neoplastic process. The IL-6, IL-17 and TGF-β1 concentrations were found to change significantly and reach the level observed in intact rats. The IL-10 concentration tended to normalize. Conclusion: The positive results obtained are the basis for further studies on the effect of methacrylic-acid polymers with different molecular-weight characteristics on the neoplastic process.  相似文献
