The synthesis of a potential precursor 3 to demethoxyviridin (1b) is described. The centerpiece of this strategy was the conversion of the previously described dibromoolefin 6 to the masked alkyne β-hydroxyaldehyde 5 in a single step. Further elaboration then produced the alkyne oxazole 4, which on thermolysis, followed by in situ tautomerization and silylation, led directly to 3.

A series of 5,6-fused ring cyclopentadienyl tricarbonyl manganese and rhenium complexes, [M(CO)3{η 5-1,2-C5H3(1,4-(R)2N2C2}] (2a3d) were isolated by employing an off-metal ring closure route. Reacting thallium cyclopentadienide (Cp) salts (1ad) with [MBr(CO)5] (M = Mn, Re) provided pyridazyl complexes (2a3d) in high yield (75–99 %). Spectroscopic characterization (NMR, IR, MS) confirmed the identity of the desired organometallic pyridazines. The off-metal synthetic pathway employed did improve upon the isolation of these complexes as compared to previously reported routes. The molecular and electronic structure of complexes 2a3d and their optimal energy structures have been characterized with quantum chemistry calculations. Vibrational frequencies calculated were compared to their experimental counterparts. The excited state calculations predict that the dominant low-energy transition involves a ligand-to-metal charge transfer.  相似文献

Manool is converted into ring-B-nor analogues of commercially important perfumery compounds via a novel ring-B-nor intermediate methylene ketone 9. Compound 9 is synthesised via the formation of an exocyclic bromonium ion and the concomitant ring contraction of the B-ring of a diterpene skeleton derived from manool. Oxidation and base treatment of the ring-contracted product result in dehydrohalogenation and decarboxylation to afford methylene ketone compound 9, which is then converted to ring-B-nor analogues of Ambrox® and amberketal.  相似文献

The ultrasonic attenuation coefficient, phase velocity, and group velocity spectra are reported for a suspension that supports negative group velocities. The suspension consists of plastic microspheres with an average radius of 80 microm in an aqueous medium at a volume fraction of 3%. The spectra are measured using a broadband method covering a range from 2 to 20 MHz. The suspension exhibits negative group delays over a band near 4.5 MHz, with the group velocity magnitude exceeding 4.3 x 10(8) m/s at one point. The causal consistency of these results is confirmed using Kramers-Kronig relations.  相似文献

A new perturbative scheme for interacting nonequilibrium thermal quantum fields using thermo field dynamics is outlined by explicitly considering the temporal change of the thermal vacuum as it moves through many inequivalent state vector spaces. One is then naturally led to two sources of time dependence, one from the dynamics and the other from the change of thermal vacuum, which are taken care of by the Hamiltonian and the thermal generator, respectively. To obtain a practical scheme we restrict ourselves by the demand that a spectral representation for the full propagator exists. This leads to a time dependent temperature. The addition of a diagonalization condition for the quasi-particle Hamiltonian provides the master equation for the number density. We show that our formalism is equivalent to an extended form of the path-ordering method. This formalism is a first step towards the study of the origin of heat and temperature in high-energy heavy ion collisions.  相似文献

Supramolecular nanotubes prepared through macrocycle assembly offer unique properties that stem from their long-range order, structural predictability, and tunable microenvironments. However, assemblies that rely on weak non-covalent interactions often have limited aspect ratios and poor mechanical integrity, which diminish their utility. Here pentagonal imine-linked macrocycles are prepared by condensing a pyridine-containing diamine and either terephthalaldehyde or 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoroterephthalaldehyde. Atomic force microscopy and synchrotron in solvo X-ray diffraction demonstrate that protonation of the pyridine groups drives assembly into high-aspect ratio nanotube assemblies. A 1 : 1 mixture of each macrocycle yielded nanotubes with enhanced crystallinity upon protonation. UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy indicate that nanotubes containing both arene and perfluoroarene subunits display spectroscopic signatures of arene–perfluoroarene interactions. Touch-spun polymeric fibers containing assembled nanotubes prepared from the perhydro- or perfluorinated macrocycles exhibited Young''s moduli of 1.09 and 0.49 GPa, respectively. Fibers containing nanotube assemblies reinforced by arene–perfluoroarene interactions yielded a 93% increase in the Young''s modulus over the perhydro derivative, up to 2.1 GPa. These findings demonstrate that tuning the chemical composition of the monomeric macrocycles can have profound effects on the mechanical strength of the resulting assemblies. More broadly, these results will inspire future studies into tuning orthogonal non-covalent interactions between macrocycles to yield nanotubes with emergent functions and technological potential.

Egg white protein (EWP) is susceptible to denaturation and coagulation when exposed to high temperatures, adversely affecting its flavour, thereby influencing consumers’ decisions. Here, we employ high-voltage cold plasma (HVCP) as a novel nonthermal technique to investigate its influence on the EWP’s flavour attributes using E-nose, E-tongue, and headspace gas-chromatography-ion-mobilisation spectrometry (HS-GC-IMS) due to their rapidness and high sensitivity in identifying flavour fingerprints in foods. The EWP was investigated at 0, 60, 120, 180, 240, and 300 s of HVCP treatment time. The results revealed that HVCP significantly influences the odour and taste attributes of the EWP across all treatments, with a more significant influence at 60 and 120 s of HVCP treatment. Principal component analyses of the E-nose and E-tongue clearly distinguish the odour and taste sensors’ responses. The HS-GC-IMS analysis identified 65 volatile compounds across the treatments. The volatile compounds’ concentrations increased as the HVCP treatment time was increased from 0 to 300 s. The significant compounds contributing to EWP characterisation include heptanal, ethylbenzene, ethanol, acetic acid, nonanal, heptacosane, 5-octadecanal, decanal, p-xylene, and octanal. Thus, this study shows that HVCP could be utilised to modify and improve the EWP flavour attributes.  相似文献

Multiply-bonded main group metal compounds are of interest as a new class of reactive species able to activate and functionalize a wide range of substrates. The aluminium sulfido compound K[Al(NONDipp)(S)] (NONDipp = [O(SiMe2NDipp)2]2−, Dipp = 2,6-iPr2C6H3), completing the series of [Al(NONDipp)(E)] anions containing Al–E{16} multiple bonds (E{16} = O, S, Se, Te), was accessed via desulfurisation of K[Al(NONDipp)(S4)] using triphenylphosphane. The crystal structure showed a tetrameric aggregate joined by multiple K⋯S and K⋯π(arene) interactions that were disrupted by the addition of 2.2.2-cryptand to form the separated ion pair, [K(2.2.2-crypt)][Al(NONDipp)(S)]. Analysis of the anion using density functional theory (DFT) confirmed multiple-bond character in the Al–S group. The reaction of the sulfido and selenido anions K[Al(NONDipp)(E)] (E = S, Se) with CO2 afforded K[Al(NONDipp)(κ2E,O-EC{O}O)] containing the thio- and seleno-carbonate groups respectively, consistent with a [2 + 2]-cycloaddition reaction and C–E bond formation. An analogous cycloaddition reaction took place with benzophenone affording compounds containing the diphenylsulfido- and diphenylselenido-methanolate ligands, [κ2E,O-EC{O}Ph2]2−. In contrast, when K[Al(NONDipp)(E)] (E = S, Se) was reacted with benzaldehyde, two equivalents of substrate were incorporated into the product accompanied by formation of a second C–E bond and complete cleavage of the Al–E{16} bonds. The products contained the hitherto unknown κ2O,O-thio- and κ2O,O-seleno-bis(phenylmethanolate) ligands, which were exclusively isolated as the cis-stereoisomers. The mechanisms of these cycloaddition reactions were investigated using DFT methods.

Evolving networks with a constant number of edges may be modelled using a rewiring process. These models are used to describe many real-world processes including the evolution of cultural artifacts such as family names, the evolution of gene variations, and the popularity of strategies in simple econophysics models such as the minority game. The model is closely related to Urn models used for glasses, quantum gravity and wealth distributions.
