The invariant cross section as a function of transverse momentum for antideuterons produced in 158A GeV/c per nucleon Pb+Pb central collisions has been measured by the NA44 experiment at CERN. This measurement, together with a measurement of antiprotons, allows for the determination of the antideuteron coalescence parameter. The extracted coalescence radius is found to agree with the deuteron coalescence radius and radii determined from two particle correlations.  相似文献

The adsorption of hexadecyl trimethylammonium bromide (HDTAB) and nonylphenyl polyglycol ether (NP20) from mixed aqueous solutions on silica has been investigated. The adsorption from mixed solutions is enhanced at low concentration, but is decreased at high concentration compared with those of the single surfactants. Further, measurements of fluorescence spectra of pyrene-3-carboxaldehyde and of ESR spectra of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyl-1-oxy in the surfactant adsorbed layer indicate that the micropolarity of the adsorbed layer is affected by feed mole fraction of HDTAB, in particular over the range of 0.3–0.7, while the microviscosity of the adsorbed layer is almost constant in the same range at a high feed concentration. This suggests that over the same range, the ratio of HDTAB/NP20 at the second layer is almost the same.  相似文献

The interactions of cationic gemini surfactants, 1,2-bis(alkyldimethylammonio)ethane dibromide (m-2-m: m is hydrocarbon chain length, m = 10 and 12), and an anionic polymer, sodium poly(styrene sulfonate) (PSS), have been characterized by several techniques such as tensiometry, fluorescence spectroscopy, and dynamic light scattering. The surface tension of gemini surfactant/PSS mixed systems decreases with surfactant concentration, reaching break points, which are taken as critical aggregation concentrations (cac). The surface tension at the cac of mixtures is higher than that of single surfactants, and it is found that at concentrations above the cac, the surfactant molecules are associated with the polymer in the bulk. The 12-2-12/PSS mixed system shows higher surface activity than both 10-2-10/PSS and the monomeric surfactant of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide/PSS systems. Fluorescence measurements of these mixed systems suggest the formation of a complex with a highly hydrophobic environment in the bulk of the solution. Additionally, dynamic light scattering measurements show that the hydrodynamic diameter of the 12-2-12/PSS mixed system is smaller than that of PSS only at low concentration, indicating interactions between surfactant and polymer. These result from the electrostatic attraction between ammonium and sulfate headgroups as well as the hydrophobic interaction between their hydrocarbon chains.  相似文献

A novel anomeric β-thioacetate of an N-acetyllactosamine derivative was efficiently synthesized in high yield from the known 2-azido glycosyl chloride using thioacetic acid as a convenient reagent. The synthesis involved not only an SN2 replacement of the chloride by a carbothiolate anion but also a reductive acetamidation of the azide group. Applications of the thioacetate for glycosidation were demonstrated to provide both O- and S-glycosides in high yields. Furthermore, both intermediates gave a new class of glycoclusters that included thioglycosidic linkages.  相似文献

Evolution of exclusively spherical tiny gold nanoparticle aggregates is reported by UV photoactivation of aqueous HAuCl4 solution in cetyltrimethylammonium chloride micelles. In the photoactivation process, citrate is introduced for the first time to obtain aggregates of interacting particles with a tight size distribution. It is seen that the spectrum is substantially altered from the usual Au plasma resonance while the particles are present in the aggregate. Due to the interparticle interaction, the solution renders a blue color. Blue-pink color transformation of the gold sol has been observed in relation to the change in the interparticle distances without any change in the aspect ratio of the particles.  相似文献

The mannose monosaccharide derivative, acetylthiopropyl 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-α-d-mannopyranoside (Man), and the mannobiose derivative, acetylthiopropyl 2,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-3-O-(2′,3′,4′,6′-tetra-O-acetyl-α-d-mannopyranosyl)-α-d-mannopyranoside (α-1,3-Man), were synthesized respectively. These mannose derivatives were introduced into carbosilane dendrimer scaffolds of the zero and first generations. As a result, six carbosilane dendrimers were functionalized by Man and α-1,3-Man. Isothermal titration microcalorimetry was done to determine binding assay between mannose moieties of carbosilane dendrimer and concanavalin A. It was found that carbosilane dendrimers bound more efficiently to concanavalin A than free mannose (Me-α-Man) and mannobiose (Me-α-1,3-Man).  相似文献

Trimeric surfactants of quaternary ammonium bromide (m-2-m-2-m, where m is the hydrocarbon chain length of 8, 10, or 12) with three hydrocarbon chains and three hydrophilic groups connected by two ethylene spacer chains were synthesized by the reaction of N,N,N',N",N"-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine and the corresponding alkyl bromide. Their physicochemical properties were characterized by surface tension, static and dynamic light-scattering, and fluorescence spectrum of pyrene techniques. The critical micelle concentrations (cmc's) of m-2-m-2-m shifted to lower concentrations with increasing hydrocarbon chain length, and their values were smaller by about one to three orders of magnitude than those of the corresponding dimeric (m-2-m) and monomeric surfactants (C(m)TAB) with the same hydrocarbon chain length. Of these surfactants, 10-2-10-2-10 showed the greatest efficiency in lowering the surface tension and provided the smallest occupied area per molecule, indicating that it adsorbs more compactly at the air/water interface. In addition, from the static and dynamic light-scattering measurements, the aggregation numbers of the trimeric surfactants at the cmc were very small, and two hydrodynamic diameters above the cmc were observed.  相似文献
